Conservatives Think They Have This Election Won

Conservatives Think They Have This Election Won

You would have thought that the vibe at CPAC this year would involve stressing about our November election prospects, but even as the market dipped over the coronavirus scare the general consensus was that whether we face Vermont Stalin or that miserable monied midget, we got this.

The common image of conservatives is one of dour pessimism, but that is less due to some inherent doom-mongering on the right than to the decades of failure by Conservative Inc. Under the wise, steady guidance of our establishment betters, all we did was lose, but Donald Trump gave the cons a taste of winning, and they like it. At CPAC, you could feel the excitement. In contrast, just down the road, the Losercon remnants held their “National Summit on Principled Conservatism,” oblivious of the fact that if you abuse yourself with too much principled conservativing you will go blind.

The Democratic base seems intent on nominating an unreconstructed communist, and the Democrat elite seems intent on stealing the election and handing it over to Scrooge McSuck. This is going to be hilarious.

It is not a bad idea to take your opponents seriously, and anyone who gets a major party nomination can theoretically win. But if you look at someone like Bernie Sanders, a crusty anti-American weirdo who wants to take your money and give it to his doofus supporters, and you have to imagine that next year at CPAC, with Trump safely re-elected and the House back in our hands, we will be wondering what the hell the Democrats were thinking nominating Marxist Mondale.

Lots of Dem-leaning voters fashionably despise the president and enjoy their progressive posing, but Sanders actually believes the nonsense he’s spewing. He totally would take their doctors and SUVs, jack up their taxes, and hand them the bill for other people’s kids’ Oppression Studies degrees. Liberalism is all fine and dandy with them until they have to actually live it. Get ready for even more secret Trump voters as folks with fading “I’m With Her” stickers on their Teslas walk into the voting booth with their still-strong 401(k) numbers on their minds and flip the lever for The Donald.

Those folks probably would have been perfectly happy to submit to the furry shackles of the soft fascism of Soda-Banning Frodo. Bloomberg would keep their status and wealth intact and if the price is their freedom, well, okay. Some people are just pathetic submissives. And they might have the chance to sell out their liberty for a little fake security because the Democrat establishment totally gets that Sanders is not only a loser at the top of the ticket but his gooey commie ichor will trickle down defeat all the way to the bottom of the ballot. So, mark my words – they are going to try to steal the nomination that Sanders is winning fair and square and toss it to the tiny tycoon who will open his massive wallet and make it rain to make that happen.

And while many Sanders-inclined suckers will obediently obey the command to vote for the malignant dwarf in November, a bunch of Bernie Bros, Bernie Bro-ettes, and Bernie Gender Indeterminates will refuse to play. Neither can’t-idate can fully consolidate the Dems while Trump has the entire Republican Party behind him, save a few cruise-shilling hacks who lurk in the MSNBCNN green rooms impersonating conservatives.

This is no done deal, but all the talk about how “Bernie is really a dangerous opponent because reasons” is a bit much. Trump is going all-in already on his campaign, and that’s good, but simmer down. These Democrats have huge flaws that could lead to a McGovern-like wipeout.

Yes, they are trying everything they can to derail the Trump Train. We’ve seen RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA 2.0 happen and then quickly unhappen. There’s the ridiculous attempt to blame Trump for the coronavirus, as if he went to China to make the locals slurp bat soup and lick pangolins. The pandemic meme won’t pan out. In a couple of months we will likely have forgotten it and moved on to new hyped-up atrocities. In the meantime, Trump will be getting us out of Afghanistan, a move the Dems will denounce because of Trump’s magical power to make liberals even stupider.

The 2020 vibe is good. We’re winning. We shouldn’t take anything for granted. Instead, we should run up the score and send Nancy Pelosi back to Scat Francisco for good.

If you are not terrified of the prospect of Sanders getting nominated and the resultant possibility he gets elected, you are not thinking straight. The mere fact he is gaining so many votes is a statement that the US is at the precipice of disaster.

I like Kurt and I’ve read and enjoyed almost all of his books but, he needs to stand at 20,000 feet more often and get off of the Trump train once in a while. He’s not Hannity but, he does carry Trump’s water a little too often. And get out of Afghanistan…extremely doubtful. After all, the CIA still has a lot of poppy fields to protect.

My opinion the main reason is this current generation is undereducated, can’t compete in the job or work environment, and do not want any accountability. Not everyone, but many under 35 like the promises Bernie makes.

OK boomer. Take an honest look at the blockades faced by young adults starting out compared to say, 40 years ago.

Kids 4 decades ago weren’t forced consumers of auto insurance and healthcare, rent and transportation was cheap, inflation was low and jobs paid a living wage. Because of the easy access to manufacturing and jobs in the trades, it was not uncommon to see 16 and 17 year olds sucessfully living away from parents homes.

Contrast that with the cost of living for young adults today. They not only have to pay outrageously inflated amounts for rents, cars, insurance, healthcare, food, eduication and entertainment , but have to compete with imported foreign workers who will to work far below the cost of living standard, often subsidized by US taxdollars . Is it then any surprise that young people today support Burn It All Down Bernie over more of the same old two party bullshit which has conserved nothing of the great life once enjoyed by prior generations ? They know outside of radical change, regardless the source, their future is as dark as the space betwixt your ears. And no, they are not wise, but neither are the charlatans posing as leadership in the two party system. So Bernie is their big FU to the Left, like Trump was the Alt-Rights big FU to the GOP establishment.

Subconsciously for the youth, it’s no longer about reforming anything, for they know deep down that’s no longer possible. It’s now about crashing the system and starting anew. On the left and right, this mindset will continue until the entire political system is destroyed. Good or bad, this is what we “conservatives” and “liberals” have set in motion. Yes, we do reap what we sow. Greed and corruption begats total ruin. And, that is the ultimate truism.

So, there were some kids back then who were forced to either get car insurance, or go without a car.

no one is forcing educaation to be successful…….. are you saying a good tradesman with minimal education cant pay their bills? I’m living proof that isnt true, and the trades is still where there is the largest shortfall of employment nationwide.

people will be just fine, when they start managing their money better instead of going to a school and majoring in cuck-studies, going to a 2 year or trade school, and find work immediately for a 20th the cost. maybe roll with basic tv til theyre 30, use an old phone until they can afford a new one, buy a used car, go without health insurance when youre young and healthy…….. yes, novel concepts, I know…… but all doable.

When I was in college I would go home for the spring break, study some, visit with friends, have a few dates, and enjoy sleeping in my cozy bed. Then I’d go back to campus and spend the rest of the semester studying like mad. Today I get a huge chuckle when reading yet another story about how many of the kids going south to sunny spots for a week over their spring break are financing their fun times with their school loan money. I guess students in my day were underprivileged-financial aid usually involved an on-campus “job”student loans were almost unheard of in those days. Cry me a river, but don’t expect my vote if you say you are going to “forgive” all loan repayments.

As the saying goes, “where there is a will there is a way”. I have nephews who did 2 years at Juco and another 2 at State U., recently graduated, and are gainfully employed. If they have any student loan debt (never felt the need to ask) they don’t show it: one has new house/new pickup/new wife who is gainfully employed; the other earns less (teacher) but is a homeowner and was able to upgrade his ride after the old one got totaled by a hit & run driver. Their recipe: good parenting, dedication, summer jobs in youth sports, etc. Plus, they refused to be basement dwellers at mommy’s house for six years waiting for the right “thing” to come along.

Just marked my ballot-after much agonizing for how best to throw a little sand into the other party (crossover voting allowed here). Bernie will win in this state, hands down-just like he did in ’16. Warren will get ~1/3 of his support and the big question is if she will get to the magic 15% needed for getting some delegates. All the other morons (there are 17 names on the D ballot) will be below the 15% threshold. Guessing that Uncle Joe will come in third, though wondering if he may get to 15% with the help of the older D-rats who don’t care for the far, far left choices.

Trump makes an interesting and helpful comment for sand throwers like me: “Bernie has real followers”, which I take as why he said elsewhere he’d rather have Bloomberg get the nomination. If the SHTF really bad with the CV bug then maybe a race with Joe would be just the ticket-adding comedy after comedy every week as he comes off as the only one in the country who seems serious about that matchup.

I haven’t decided. I voted for Trump once. For me , his work is really done. He has shown the normies the political system and media for what actually it is. Corrupt to the core and beyond reform. Maybe America needs a Bolshevik to finish the job Trump started .

just like the left expects to acquire material goods without having worked for them, but will work like dogs to obtain material things via government, so the right expects government to be certain things without having worked for it, but will work like dogs to obtain material things directly.

i never understood this warning to conservative to “not get comfortable” ………… we’ve never been comfortable politically, the leftists havent let us get comfortable, and they still wont. Conservatives don’t ever get complacent voting either as i have seen many a warning about…….. look, we got our guy, and he hasnt failed us, backing him is a no brainer. even moderate liberals are turning towards him. when conservative turnout was down, it wasnt complacency, it was disgust for the nominee thrown in our face, be it, dole, mccain, or romney.

sanders campaign is a direct result of liberal and leftist rhetoric reaping what theyve sown since bush won in 2000……. a disgruntled base with no real staying power nationwide……. yes they have traction , within the party, but in the general they are going to get wiped and everyone but the bernie bros knows it. bernie isnt gaining momentum, he stole it from the leftist base, promised free stuff, forced the other candidates to move further left and abandon the middle and right sides of their own party (within the electorate, obviously there arent any at the national level) . Its bernie bros and the media and those wondertwins combined STILL only make up 30-35% of the electorate on its best day…….. with trump rolling in wins in the courts daily, bernie loses nationwide support both inside and outside the party. I’ll give bernie this, he gives you a decision on whom to vote for, not just against……. but its pretty clear on the grand scale, bernie just doesnt have the numbers to win a general election.

now mini mike is in even worse condition, he is blatantly trying to buy every aspect of the election he can, nothing turns off a voting base more than the feeling of directly getting bought off. this is one of the reasons yang didnt have staying power either. If you think bernie loses big on ideas, wait til mini mike loses big on no ideas.

Ironically, the only person that would have given the democrats a pulse in the national election is Tulsi, and that is because she actually sounds like a human being and not a scripted stooge.

so here is my prediction:
if bernie wins the primary, trump wins the general by roughly 20-25 points, and in the electoral college by a minimum of 100.
if mini mike wins (steals) the primary, trump wins by 40-45 points, and a 45-48 state landslide in the electoral college.

this could all change if trump screws something up royally, and I mean royally, not just the perceived minor faults attributed to him daily by nay-sayers whom are constantly wrong……. but trump isnt in the business of screwing up and not coming back stronger than before.
