No, It’s Not The Flu, Bro

Guest Post by The Zman

After the Saudi attacks on the World Trade Center buildings, we had a week of panic and confusion, mostly in the ruling class. Whether it was true or not, they carried on as if they were caught completely unawares by the attack. They shut down the airlines and closed the stock market for a week. Many people stayed home to watch the news and get their heads around what was happening. Most of America got back to normal within a few days and everyone waited for the ruling class response.

More than a few people have noted that the vibe in certain parts of the country has the same feel as the days after 9/11. Then and now, the northeast was most affected by the aftermath of the event. New Jersey shutdown after 9/11, but North Carolina carried on pretty much without interruption. We see a similar pattern now. The mad scramble by the rulers is also similar. Even the propaganda organs have been disrupted, having to depart from their normal barrage of hatred for the rest of us.

The important thing about this comparison between this event and the days after 9/11 is what followed it. Twenty years ago, the first step was to increase the importation of Muslims into the country. Immigration across the board increased in the aftermath of the Saudi attacks. Then, of course, we launched a never-ending crusade against concepts like terror and extremism. This necessitated a roll-out of the surveillance state and the expansion of domestic spy agencies and domestic spying.

This trip down memory lane is a useful corrective to the claim that this panic is just a two-week lock-down in response to the flu. The one-week shutdown that followed 9/11 brought with it a massive reordering of American society. In 1999, we did not have secret courts and warrantless surveillance. Before that event, no one thought they would ever see the FBI and CIA conducting domestic espionage against politicians, much less trying to overturn an election.

This month-long lock-down, and that is what they are planning, by the way, will bring with it a massive re-ordering of society. Think about what is happening. The government is willy-nilly telling businesses to shut down. People are being locked into their homes on the orders of local officials. In the fullness of time, what we see happening will make Julius Caesar’s crossing the Rubicon river in January 49 BC look tentative. In a decade, the world of just a few weeks ago will be a foreign country to us.

If this sounds alarmist to you, consider this. When Bush launched the forever wars, there were two camps opposed to it. The Left suddenly discovered its anti-war attitudes and responded with parades and puppet shows in major cities. It was an extended holiday for their freaks to go wild in the streets. The leadership, however, chanted absurd slogans about multinationals like Halliburton, but otherwise went along with it. The bipartisan uniparty always hangs tough during tough times.

The other opposition came from the paleocons. They correctly pointed out that this was worse than folly, as it would take generations to fix. The roll out of the surveillance state would probably require a revolution to overturn. The wars themselves would end in tears, as the people in those countries were incapable of sustaining modern liberal democracy, even if they had an interest in it. Then, of course, there was the price to paid for handing over foreign policy to our greatest ally.

It should be noted, the same people mocking skeptics about this current panic, the people derisively chanting “It’s the flu bro”, could not wrap their heads around why the paleocons were so upset with Bush. Back then it was “better to fight them over there than over here.” It was not an answer to the skeptics, but a signal for the herd to come closer together in mutual defense against a threat. Then as now it is the sound that sheep make as they are being herded into a new pen.

Barring a collapse or revolution, no one reading this will see an unwinding of the changes that resulted from the panic of 9/11. This panic is orders of magnitude worse than what followed 9/11. The one-week shutdown of the economy gave us a nice recession that required lots of government intervention. A month long shut down of the economy will change the world forever. Just look at what is planned after a few days of this panic. The Republicans are now devotees of Andrew Yang.

The crusade Bush launched against concepts like terrorism and extremism is still with us, because you can never beat an imaginary enemy. The war against unapproved microscopic life forms will also never end, How can it? Just as every snow storm brings demands for people to shelter in place, every flu season will result in school closures and demands for people to self-isolate. Just as corporations harvesting your personal information has been normalized, what we are seeing now will be too.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. We have no way to know what comes from stopping a 20 Trillion-dollar economy in its tracks. It’s never been tried, because no one has ever been so insane as to contemplate it. Then you have the corresponding global shutdown. Maybe everything fire back up like new starting in May, but that means everything the experts have been telling us about the economy was wrong. There will be massive government intervention in the economy.

We are back to the point the paleocons unsuccessfully made back in the Bush years regarding the war or concepts. The trade-offs involved were monstrous and unacceptable. In order to keep the free flow of Muslims into the West and protect Israel from her neighbors, the American Empire would become a police state. Whatever benefit could possibly be gained from the war on concepts was dwarfed by the cost of it. 9/11 was terrible, it was not worth destroying the country over it.

Today we are seeing the same argument. In order to “flatten the curve” we need to obliterate what’s left of civil life. We have to hand to the state the power to shutter businesses, lock people in their homes and reorganizes society as they see fit. The price of flattening the curve will be a never-ending war on civil life by a thoroughly corrupt ruling class. So no, it is not just the flu bro. It is not about the stock market or the economy either. It is about what comes after the flu decades after it is gone.

Obtain and watch the movie “V For Vendetta”. Although this movie is based on a comic book, there are ominous parallels to today’s political and social situations. From an “engineered virus” and a delayed “antidote” to the loss of civil and social liberties, this movie does a good job in getting people to think.

I was so-so after watching that movie.
It felt wrong to me to imply that everyone has to go through what is basically full psychological torture, to finally see the light.

When an industry like the airlines decides to return to full operations, the latency between when that decision is made and when they agree it has happened could be months or years or never.

They don’t operate in a vacuum. They need support services from other industries that also have to ramp up. Getting the coordination to do this smoothly is going to be one hell of a trick.

Just getting passenger loads to something that approximates recent history will either be challenging or even impossible as people with little money tend not to fly.

Now think of the millions of small businesses, entrepreneurs, major corporations, and individuals all trying to gauge their rise to something that approximates what they had.

This manufactured panic is the end of the US economy as we knew it. What follows is an engineered decline to allow the oligarchs to purchase the world and then treat the peons as cattle. That’s really nothing new, it will just be out in the open and in your face. Thank gov’t for this because without gov’t it could not have happened.

Keep voting and see what it gets you.

I think there’s hope. It’ll just be after the collapse which is now baked in the cake. Zman is right. There will be no positive change without revolution, and our government has gone full-blown fascist. Welcome to the Fourth Reich, where government picks the winners and losers and parents the means of production.

Trump will win because the alternative is the worst group ever assembled in our history. And he will be ousted in his second term.

Can’t disagree with that.
The first governments to go full retard on restrictions and quarantines were NY, NJ, Washington state. The income-killing regulations and taxes were already forcing people to relocate but now the Nanny State is showing how to kill whole economies. A lot of the financially conservative people who tend to hold their noses for Trump on other issues are righteously pissed at government in general, and rightly so.

Well, I gave it one last shot. I’m going back to my rock, PJB. He’s been mostly right since 1992. I’m just waiting for him to pull the plug on Trump in an article.

This IMHO was Zman’s best article. He dredged up the memories I had in Clarendon when I damn near got my ass kicked in a bar as they live streamed the Baghdad push.

Watch very closely what the media do henceforth. In print and live. At some point I expect most/all of them to bang the War with China gong because that’s the only thing that would successfully distract the people from what’s coming.

I’m sorry, but we get the government we deserve. There is only one way to cleanse the we. Most people around you want things this way. Go by what they do. Look at the runs on TP and ammo. Muh herding instincts. Look at the easy bailout money. The obvious thing to do is slash government spending by an annualized trillion. The obvious thing is to do is to not let people at risk of getting killed holding us hostage as if we owe them safety and isolation from contagious microbes that will not kill enough to break the economy. Americans do not play to win but to not lose. That is the big shift in the character of the Western population. People are expendable because people are organisms.

The subhumans say no one is disposable and then dispose of me as much and as quickly as feasible. The government this and the government that. You know that legal personification of corporations is narrative BS. People do things to people and people can do things back to people. Yes, revolution or gentle, inglorious death. But this idea of muh government is no meaningful target. It’s the idea of prayer warriors fighting muh evil. Muh narrative antagonists. Find the hate to love what you would keep on earth or go extinct. The noose tightens. Same thing the past 50 years. Trump is feelz that makes the noose palatable. You folks tolerate exploitation so long as it’s slow enough. You won’t have enough to win. You don’t know what winning is. AoC is a leading Christian luminary here. Not far enough. I perceive a migration from Christianity in the West. No one wants the weak horse. Century of the Vikings holds more promise to young white men of faith. What do they have to defend? You old farts did okay and want to protect it. Shame. Materialistic shame. You never protected the culture. You never protected the social technology that we embody, and we are inferior. Constant losing is proof. You never protected the gene pool. You never pruned. You went along. You pretended to keep your job, to have a wife and children. You paid taxes and then took up a collection to pollute our social technology and machinery and matrix, us. There will be another story time with a drag queen at a government property near you, and you will let it happen. Well, now that we are emasculated, that’s the correct choice. I’m not suggesting stupidity. A pound of cure is more than an ounce of prevention. Remember when men of the South were bigots? Me neither.

The organic process of decline continues. We’ll take it. If a LEO were stopped from enforcing government policy, would the perp be a hero? Would regular people there side with the perp? No. This inglorious execution goes on because its tolerable to you tolerant people. This is an us versus them. If you can’t properly identify that, you are incapable of winning. Play to not lose. That’s your best strategy. That choice is made by a white essence I hold in contempt. SOE had an unusually good comment? Because he danced around the elephant by serendipity? This misery and futility is just getting started. Strap in. This goes on and on and on. We’ve already lost. No well-regulated militia to field from this stock. You expect the young to follow in your footsteps? lol

Yes, we are, AoC. We are chips off the old block, them extinct Romans and Greeks. We must hope a small group of post-Industrial genetic seed can survive and spread. The aftermath will be very fertile. As for me, I am not able to go camping with the camping gear and function for long. Camping without the camping gear, I never was physically man enough. Nihilism has it’s advantages, if you know what I mean. Nothing to loose but the thrill of expressing oneself as having nothing to loose, ye old wounded lion. We wait to see if anyone else goes first as martyrs. It would not take many. 100 Christopher Dorners don’t just pop up every day, or any single day.

In regards to your tipping point monkeys, I can’t find a video of a wildebeest herd that ran from lions and then turned around to rescue their compatriots and defeat the lions. It was a panoramic view and pretty amazing. There is no physical reason we could not win except for the physical nature of the brains of our homeland population. Just not wired or configured to win. I’m so tired of it.

Tomassi calls it the purple pill. It is too easy to take the red pill that only effects one’s edges. Without core change, there is no meaningful change. The core will change. Here comes Islam! Sunshine is the great virus killer. Git some.

Good advice here.

https://www.lewrockwell.com/2020/03/no_author/quarantines-may-backfire/

Dr. John Cannell cites an experiment conducted among six volunteers who were inoculated with a flu virus similar to the virus that caused the 1918 Spanish flu that reportedly killed millions. Of the six volunteers, just one experienced moderate symptoms; three had mild symptoms, one very mild, and one no illness at all.

In another similar experiment, 46 of 55 inoculated volunteers failed to develop symptoms.

A consistent fact is, immunization rates have risen in recent times among the elderly, without a decrease in mortality.

Hope-Simpson had an over-arching question: What is the seasonal stimulus for influenza? If it comes and goes, where does it go when it doesn’t come?

The answer is that the humans are exposed to viruses throughout the year but they remain dormant when sunshine vitamin D blood levels are within a normal range.

Viral disease erupts as vitamin D blood levels decline. Which is why wintertime infectious disease travels faster than people travel.

While the corona virus is a serious health problem, it is glaringly obvious that the same people who rushed through the so-called Patriot Act after 9/11 (also known as the Zionist Population Control Act) are behind this ridiculous hysteria that has carpet-bombed our economy. The image of millions of Americans fighting over toilet paper will be what remains after this fiasco, as well as the destroyed retirements and dreams of tens of millions of ordinary people. Enough of this shit. Millions of Americans WILL NOT die, though many will be sick for a while.

I do not want to minimize the real suffering – it IS a severe public health problem – but this grotesque over the top reaction stinks to high heaven. If hundreds of thousands were dropping dead in the streets of New York or Chicago, OK, but they are not. Yeah, I feel for the 65 and over geezers (I am one of them) who croak but I feel worse for the young. The real joke is being played on them.

This absurd Chinese fire drill does have a useful purpose, however. It will be used to run interference as the world economy collapses. We will (justly) blame the nasty Chinese who follow barbaric sanitary and eating practices and labor under a gang of incompetent Commie thugs, but we will (unjustly) allow the shitheel financiers who have wrecked our children´s futures to escape justice.

OK, now I am going to hole up in my cabin in the woods with a crate of tuna fish, cheap wine, and some Doritos. I will be wiping my ass with the New York Times.

I believe all of the people that have been sent home to work online will become contract workers, like I am. They will no longer be employees. They will get paid based on pieces of work they do or an hourly wage for the work they are doing for the company, which will be tracked. They will no longer receive insurance, pensions, sick pay or vacation pay. If you’re sick for a week and don’t work, you don’t get paid. I think that’s part of the future they are moving toward.

On a lighter note, wallah,” The History of Toilet Paper” (a rather new product)
