Should private companies have the right to operate as they see fit?
How can we tell a private company they can’t censor, but get angry when a baker doesn’t have the right to refuse service to a gay couple?
I understand these social media companies operate too often with the government and current narrative and blur the lines of just how “private” they really are.
I see this as a new business opportunity for a new social media company to operate based on what consumers want…which is no censorship.

in any case they’re not private companies in the sense you mean, rather they are a news/entertainment/social media collusion/monopoly, all owned and controlled by the same small tribe and who operate the monopoly/collusion to advance their tribal goals. they pose as being “private” so as to hide their activities – “nothing to see here, we’re just like you, how dare you look at us!”
