Congress would never approve such an app, because they do not want to be tracked.
Inslee, the gov of Washington has rescinded his decree that restaurant patrons were going to be required to give up their personal info or not get served. It was to be a tracking thing, but the backlash was too much and so now it will be voluntary for the ones stupid enough to comply.
Seems only fair as they are being thrown out of jails to make room for those of us who don’t toe the line.
