Marky was a better drummer, but it was a better band with Tommy on drums. And Marky is a left-wing Democrat idiot, too…

I meant the band sounded better with Tommy on drums. He didn’t even know how to play drums properly, either. Tommy invented his own style of playing, which according to Marky – who was an accomplished drummer before joining the Ramones – wasn’t easy to duplicate. And he was never able to.
Good stuff for Sunday. P.J. Soles was great in that and Stripes.
Anybody on here see them at The Pier in Raleigh, NC around 1978 or so?
I saw them in ’77 or ’78 in the Americus Hotel in Allentown PA. In the balcony of the ballroom. It was a large room with high ceilings & it was fucking LOUD.
