Math Association Say Math “Inherently Carries Human Biases”, Citing Critical Race Theory

Authored by Ben Zeisloft via Campus Reform,

The Mathematical Association of America (MAA) recently asserted that math “inherently carries human biases” in a recent statement from its “Committee on Minority Participation in Mathematics.”

The MAA is a professional association of high school and university teachers. It hosts the American Mathematics Competitions for middle and high school students, as well as publishes academic journals. It prides itself as “the world’s largest community of mathematicians, students, and enthusiasts.”

In opposition to President Trump’s recent executive actions to ban the use of Critical Race Theory training in the federal government, the MAA said that critical race theory “is an established social science inquiry which is grounded in decades of scholarship,” further asserting that “it is misguided, at best, to reduce this theory to the race-blaming of white people and to define it and the discussion of systemic racism as a ‘divisive concept.’”

The statement then turned its attention to the inherent bias that allegedly exists in mathematics.

“Although mathematics, science, and higher education develop fact-based theories and practices that should inform policy, they are also political because they exist within a highly politicized system,” says the statement.

“Acknowledging that the United States has serious systemic discrimination has somehow leaped from a political issue to a partisan issue.”

In conclusion, the MMA says that “it is time for all members of our profession to acknowledge that mathematics is created by humans and therefore inherently carries human biases.”

“Until this occurs, our community and our students cannot reach full potential. Reaching this potential in mathematics relies upon the academy and higher education engaging in critical, challenging, sometimes uncomfortable conversations about the detrimental effects of race and racism on our community,” the MMA added.

Several American university professors signed the document. Among these are Jenna Carpenter, the Dean of Engineering at Campbell University and Victor Piercey, an actuarial sciences professor at Ferris State University.

National Association of Scholars Director of Research David Randall told Campus Reform that legitimate scholarship “dedicates itself to the search for truth.”

However, “Critical Race Theory denies that the search for truth is possible, and seeks power instead. Scholarship judges arguments. Critical Race Theory judges who makes the arguments. You can be a scholar or an adherent of Critical Race Theory; you cannot be both.”

Randall explains that “mathematics has always been the purest field of scholarship… 2 + 2 = 4 everywhere in the universe, and always will.”

Nevertheless, “critical race theorists may demand that we believe that 2 + 2 = 5, because bias affects mathematics and bias must be overcome, but free minds will never assent.”

Campus Reform reached out to the MAA for comment and will update this article accordingly.

Give it’s a rest the black guy on the job can’t read a tape measure and comprehend stacking tolerances so that’s racist . Make him or her a superintendent on the job and he can sit in the truck or office trailer and do the least harm !
Better yet award them an honorary PHD so they can teach how racism keeps blacks down , ya that’s it !

The only numbers these people are astutely aware of is on their paycheck. Try shorting them $3 on their check and see if they understand math!

The Plandemic is actually incontrovertible evidence that social science knows how Humans (sheep) tick. Near universal face diaper ( mask) wearing as an example of both Skinnerian Operant Conditioning and Bandura’s Modelling Theory.

The Evil Fuckers want you to believe better in the truthfulness of politicians, Sportsball, Tel Avi(v)sion and school.

Do not, under any circumstance, discount the power of knowing exactly how the Human mind operates. It shall be on full display when the “vaccine” is made compulsory. Most will be super happy to get theirs. Watch for it.

Auntie – I do not hear anyone clamoring for a vaccine. In fact, what I am hearing is a general disgust for the whole scamdemic and the way the politicians have mismanaged it, becoming dictators.

The trick is going to be the linkage of positive reinforcement; in the form of a digital currency deposit into the vaccinated’s bank account.

Here is the best(Readable) argument for White and Asian superiority I’ve come across. It’s not religious despite the title. He simply uses the bables timelines and history combined with science. He doesn’t HATE anyone, just wants the counter argument given equal time. In case you don’t want to read it all I’ll tell you the ending.
Blacks are mentally inferior.

Humanity did have to rebuild. Archeology has determined we and many species of animals were nearly wiped out about 75,000 years ago. Many see a correlation between the drop in “breeding pairs” that went down to an estimated 15,000 located only in North Africa (which wasn’t a desert then) and the Toba volcanic eruption on the Island of Sumatra that occurred at the same time.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toba_catastrophe_theory

Maybe our creation stories are a distant memories of us nearly getting wiped out that somehow managed to pass down for several thousand generations. The ancient Greeks had a legend about a time when their land was covered in pine trees, which was true during the ice age. If that could pass down, why not others.

The flood story goes back well before the Old Testament and could be a metaphor for the memories of the cities and civilizations that once existed in the upper portion of the Persian Gulf that were inundated by rising waters as the ice caps melted and people were forced to move further north.

I always enjoyed studying about these things.

That this sort of preposterous nonsense is even being discussed (“Math
be rayciss!”) is not a good sign going forward, either for our country or
for Western civilization.

But that’s the thing you get when sub-Saharan Blacks (who couldn’t over
10,000 years even invent a written language, much less do anything
civilizational) are ever even listened to, much less given a voice or a say.

Bradford Hanson gave his take on this type of discussion recently:

“When Blacks inherit a country from Whites, a country that had been prosperous and productive, a country wherein the culture was high and the crime rates were low, it isn’t long before the culture, the society, the economy, and the integrity of government all go into the toilet. Haiti. Zimbabwe. Detroit. Baltimore. Atlanta. There has never been an exception. There has never been a well-functioning technical civilization run by Blacks. There never will be. Wakanda is fiction. Blacks are a net drag on civilization, not a benefit thereto.”

That was the “Diversity Bridge”. I’m not kidding, that’s what it was really called. It was designed and construction was managed by an all female engineering team from Florida International University. Problems were discovered within days of its highly touted opening but not heeded. Six people were killed when it collapsed soon after opening.

This is how you can identify someone who’s educated beyond their intelligence.

It’s likely that those bureaucratic types in charge of the MAA couldn’t solve the most basic compound interest formula and are activists, not mathematicians.
