Is There Hope for the US?

Is There Hope for the US

For the entire lives of anyone under the age of seventy-five, the US has been at the top of the heap in almost every way. For decades, it had greater freedom, greater prosperity and higher production than any other country in the world.

America was a cornucopia – the centre for innovation and trends in technology, the arts and social development. And today, many Americans, even if they complain about changes for the worse in their country, come back quickly to say, “This is still the greatest country in the world.” Or, “Everybody is still trying to come here.”

Well, truth be told, neither of these knee-jerk comments is accurate any longer. But even those who have come to that realisation tend to resort to the inevitable fall-back comment: “Well, whattaya gonna do? It’s just as bad everyplace else.”

And yet, this is also inaccurate. Throughout the history of the world, whenever a country had entered its decline stage, others were in the process of rising up.

And this is just as true today. There are countries where prosperity and production are far greater than in the US and, increasingly, countries where the key ingredient that made America great – Liberty – is present to a far greater degree.

In fact, this is the one characteristic of America that’s most rapidly in decline. This is especially true in 2020, when a virus has been used as a justification to dramatically increase governmental dominance of the populace.

It matters little whether the US had a hand in creating the virus, or whether it was merely co-opted as an opportunity to expand control.

The result has been heavy-handed governmental meddling in medicine, business and personal freedoms.

As regards the latter concern, the odd halfway measure of personal movement control is not great enough to keep a virus from spreading, but it has been sufficient to collapse businesses, create record unemployment and make it impossible for some people to feed themselves.

In the bargain, it has served as an ideal cover story for an economic collapse that had been inevitable. The government can say, “Don’t blame us for the collapse; it was those naughty Chinese and their pesky virus that did it.”

The decline is not an accident. It’s a planned demolition. And it’s going well. For those who actually pull the strings, profit will be made from the unfolding crisis. Not for everyone, of course, but most certainly for those few who are creating it.

But many say that the US is waking up, that its citizenry are coming to the conclusion that the Deep State – that corporatist ruling class that are made up of governmental and big-business leaders – has increasingly destroyed the prosperity, production and liberty that once existed and replaced them with massive debt, an exit of production to other countries and a vanishing middle class.

And they’d be entirely correct. The endgame for the once-great US Empire is now underway, and over the next few years, we shall bear witness as it tumbles downhill.

So, what are Americans to do?

Well, my belief is that – as is always the case when a country declines – the populace will divide into several groups.

The first group, which will be by far the largest, will increasingly grumble, but ultimately do little or nothing to save themselves. They will go down with the ship.

The second group will say, “We don’t have to accept this.” They’re the preppers, the ones who have a store of food and have been stashing away guns and ammunition. They’re the folks who are seen at the corner bar, saying, “If they come for me, I’m locked and loaded.”

Their friends nod in agreement, but in fact, if a trained and outfitted SWAT team were to arrive on their porch, there would be very few who would succeed in getting off a single shot, and for those who did, their remaining life would be brief.

On the more thoughtful side of this group would be the third group. They would also say, “We don’t have to accept this,” but their choice of a solution will be to “work within the system.”

This is a much larger group – the ones who wait for each election as though it holds a solution. Each time, they’re disappointed. If the party they supported is elected, the winners somehow fail to return the country to the free society it had once been. If the other party is elected, the decline only accelerates.

Incredibly, the lightbulb never seems to go on for this group. They never get to the point of realisation that, “Oh, I get it: neither party has any intention of returning the country to a state of liberty. The only question is which group of pretenders gets to be in charge of the decline this time around. Either way, I lose.”

It could be said that this is the most tragic group. They’re sincere and dedicated. They endlessly hope that a solution is just around the corner, without there being any actual substance for their hope.

The commonality in all three of these groups is that they all end up as casualties. They may differ in their approach to the decline, but they’ll share in the loss of their wealth (however large or small) and their liberty.

But there’s also a fourth group – those who leave. Their numbers are small and they tend not to make a large impact on the consciousness of the other three. In fact, they’re never even mentioned by the media. It’s as though they don’t exist.

So, let’s step back a few centuries. America was founded by a hardworking assortment of settlers who came from several countries in Europe. In their home countries they witnessed oppression – limitations to both their liberty and their ability to create a good life for themselves and their families.

They were independent-minded and self-reliant. They carved out lives in the wilderness and later built towns, then cities. But all the while, they hung on to their core belief of independence and liberty.

Today, they’re still revered as being the backbone of what made America great. And this view is accurate. Yet, today’s Americans are nothing like them. None of the three groups above thinks like them, although the middle group would like to believe they do, merely by owning guns. They’re not independent-minded. They’re not self-reliant.

The key here is that the founders of America recognised that there was no chance that they could change the corrupt and controlling systems they were born into in Europe.

So they left Europe and started over elsewhere.

The fourth group are following a similar path: Seek out a destination where the government does not yet have the power to rob you of your wealth and freedoms.

The choice is a simple one. If you value your liberty – the ability to make your own decisions and to keep more of what you’ve earned – pack your bags and go.

Editor’s Note: The upcoming election may be the most important in US history. At least as important as that of 1860, which led directly to the War Between the States.

If you’re wondering what comes next, then you’re not alone.

The political, economic, and social implications of the 2020 vote will impact all of us.

That precisely why legendary investor Doug Casey, former “Economic Hit Man” John Perkins, Geopolitical forecaster and intelligence expert George Friedman, Father of Reaganomics David Stockman, and more, are revealing the specific moves they’re taking to prepare for what comes next.

Where in the effing hell are you going to go? This is a WORLDWIDE GREAT RESET! The plan is to track every single coffee bean. Every single fish. If it is filleted then each fillet is tracked. I’m not making this up.

Maybe if you are a billionaire and can afford to buy a private island you might be left alone. If you have the right connections, anyway. So I hope Mr Thomas has billions and connections. Or he will suffer along with the rest of us.

You are correct. I’m in New Zealand and been here 10 years. While it is not as “bad” as the US (especially since they are deliberately taking the US down as a side agenda from the great reset), it is just as co-opted and controlled by the same evil as virtually every where else. If they succeed in this “reset”, it will be here too.

The sheeple as just as bad too with almost half just voting for the blatantly evil labour party and a good chunk of the rest voting for the equivalent of the Republicans (just as evil but a little different flavor, just like there. There are two or three itty bitty parties that probably have not been co-opted, including one that was actively calling out the NWO but they combined literally got about 3% of the vote and the one actually telling truth about the NWO was banned by Facebook and completely ignored by the MSM. Similar to there.

yes, this freakish obsession with tracking everything… it goes beyond any practical enforcement of control or power, it’s got to be some kind of psychopathy, because it doesnt even really fit any rational strategy for absolute power… aside from a strategy which has as one of its objectives , explicitly ‘maximum evil’ … anymore this is becoming an inescapable conclusion, that the psychotic elites have , along with any other agendas and goals, a goal of ‘maximum evil’ separate from any other objective.

I guess you never heard of AI and Big Data? Of course it has to do with power and control. You simply don’t know how the Information Age works. Evil is a factor of morality, which is a set of values draped over the super structure. Morality and evil have nothing to do with how things work. A train can run for good, or evil purposes neither of which explain how the train works.

You can die in New Zealand and especially, if you aren’t rich. Kiwis have been getting a free ride with all their liberal BS. They refuse to allow American nuclear subs to dock there since the cold war days, but live under our military protection and nuclear umbrella. I find them to be hypocrites getting a free ride and so politically correct as to be suffocating.

” ’cause there is no more New Frontier,
We have got to make it here.”

-Don Henley

This is day dreaming several orders of magnitude worse than the people who still believe you can get pregnant in a swimming pool. Or who believe in elections.

The New World was only possible because people were able to use land without oppressive central control. Once a government, any government, expropriates the land set aside for the common usage (‘the Commons’), every swingin’ dick in the place becomes a tenant to either his landlord (who is himself a tenant who pays his rents in ‘property tax’ to the government), or who pays the State directly with ‘property tax’ of his own.

Once the government demands that all land be paid for in rents, the hearty Daniel Boones who built this country cease to exist. Does anyone imagine he can just set up shop on our ‘national parks’? Do you think you could plow up 3 acres in Yellowstone and plant some taters, maybe raise a little salt pork like ol’ Dan’l?

No, you are forced to participate in the State-administered rental scheme, and the kind of rugged, self-sufficient Everyman herein extolled becomes an impossibility, unless he wishes to just become a homeless person content to panhandle for spare change. Which is the antithesis of every motive which leads to self sufficiency.

From where should self-sufficiency arise when your masters deny you the land on which to subsist?

I notice the author does not name any specific countries as bolt holes much to be preferred. I wonder why? Is anyone aware of any country in the world whose government is not operating the same scam?

There is nowhere to run.

(No, I am not advocating for collectivism, nor am I denouncing private property. I am saying that a government that tells you it owns all public lands, and denies you their practical use, is robbing its citizens and forcing them into the Industrial Revolution, Bob Cratchitt mode of living.)

What a jerk off. Link to give your email to this Jack ass.

Americans are getting what they deserve for being a bunch of fat, dumb, brainwashed, lawless, warpig, socialist moochers. Even those who complain about socialism are ultimately socialists.

The solution is known and has been disclosed but if the people had two working brain cells in their head they would have already known the problem and solution from simply observing the reality they are immersed in -the same reality that demonstrates that international man is a jerk off trying to make money off of stupid people.

There are millions of criminals who are making a living off of enslaving everyone to pay them. When those criminals are all dead the problem bringing us down will end.

It is completely obvious. The structures are known, the operation centers’locations are known. Their modus operandi is known which means it is simple to get the criminals to go exactly where you want them. It is an easy victory for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. But the very fact that victory is so easy but the masses not knowing what to do shows how absolutely stupid nearly everyone is. It is the worst movie ever. Slimeballs everywhere and everyone does the very thing that should NEVER be done to ‘fix’ the situation, they vote for the criminal syndicate to continue.

Coward: noun. a person who lacks courage in facing danger, difficulty, opposition, pain, etc.; a timid or easily intimidated person.

Example: “The cowards chose to flee America as she was beset by the horde of Marxists and Takers, rather than drawing their swords, standing alongside their brethren in the breach, and fighting for each other with the fury of FREE MEN.”

” …why do you call them cowards? … were the jews who left europe in the 1930 s cowards?”

One reason I called them cowards, really, was to try to draw out LLPOH from his lair. I failed miserably.

If someone lives in a bad neighborhood where there are many murders, and this person fears for their life …. are they cowards for moving out of town? Of course, not. Likewise, if a Jew felt their life was at stake, and they felt that way regardless of where in that country they moved then, no, I would not call them cowards. It was a matter of survival.

A better question to me might have been “were your parents cowards for leaving Austria?” Again, no, There were no jobs. While we weren’t malnourished, food was scarce …. three squares a day were rare. Many days it was just one meal a day. It was a matter of survival.

As bad as things are in America — this most wonderful of all places, imho — things just aren’t that bad, Yet, anyways.

In a global economic crisis, any tin pot country is going to take everything you have, because you are going to stand out like a sore thumb. The best thing to do is prep and go is small town America, the smaller the better. SWAT isn’t coming that far for you unless you are creating a local militia or stirring $#!+ up. The police, many of whom are preppers or prepper friendly aren’t going to be following orders blindly, especially after being dissed by the Democrats. Neither will the military rank and file. The large Democrat run cities are going to collapse from the inside out like a cigarette lit smoldering couch. The states are going to succeed and reform into like-minded nation states. theres nowhere else left to go anyway. here in europe just about everywhere except swirtzerland is a picture of what america would look like if the leftists won every election for the next twenty years running.. basically what the P.R.California is trying to become. and even in switzerland they neutered the population and disarmed them (oh sure they still have them but when everythings registered it’s as good as gone).. and even getting a small patch of land and making some improvements to try to live without depenence on the system.. is a bazillion times harder, more expensive, and more restricted in europe. exactly what the agenda 21 freaks would love to impose on america as well.. no, things are still pretty good in the states. stay and help recover the situation. in the rest of the world a lot of the little people at this point are praying for WW3 to clean up house because it’s all completely beyond recovery.

Consider the source here, amigos. The author, Jeff Thomas, IS NOT AN AMERICAN. He is apparently a Brit ex-pat, i.e. a Subject of the Crown, who resides in the Carribean. He is not an American, does not reside in America, and does not know the character of America. I doubt he even realizes the scale and scope of America, the number of armed Americans, the relatively small size of our military and law enforcement apparatus when compared to population (what is it, fewer than 1%?), the far flung deployments, the fact that over 50% of our military strength is deployed or underway (and thus useless in the CONUS), etc.

Once again, he makes sweeping generalizations, such as “There are countries where prosperity and production are far greater than in the US and, increasingly, countries where the key ingredient that made America great – Liberty – is present to a far greater degree“, without naming a single sovereign country to prove his case.

He seems to be saying that rather than stand and fight if need be, we should follow his example and emigrate away from a lost cause. He ignores the fact that when America falls, Liberty falls will her. If the Light of the West fails, a thousand years of darkness shall follow. Personally, I believe that this storm crow is an effete coward casting shade upon the shield wall.

It is obvious that he has never spent time with everyday people of America. Regardless of where you are in the country, you are looking at being thrown on your own resources each and every year for one thing or another. Hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, ice storms, etc etc etc. This is the mindset Americans who understand that government isn’t to be trusted have. That is the backbone and spirit of American, and it ain’t in the cities. There are a couple of phrases that come to mind: “the sleeping giant” and “behind every blade of grass”. We shall see.

I love foreign travel and own property outside the USA. I could, if I wanted to, leave right this minute. I never will.
My ancestors helped create this country. Their bones are buried here. Everything I am is tied up in America. The idea of hauling ass in the face of filthy, subhuman scum like Antifa, BLM or Joe Biden makes me puke. Yeah, we may have a civil war. That is not the worst possible outcome of the insanity gripping the country. At least we might have a fighting chance of punishing the Democrat ringleaders for treason, driving into exile many of the rest, and stripping the civil rights from the left overs who in any way supported their “cause”. Remember it! If it does come to a fight there will be no dignified ending at Appomattox this time. There can be no “reconciliation”. This is not a fight between Americans. Kamal Harris is no American. AOC is no American. The thugs rioting in the streets are not Americans. Mario Cuomo is not an American. Don Lemon, Anderson Cooper, Jake Tapper, and Jim Acosta are not Americans. On November 3, 2020 we will find out just where we stand. As for “international man”, best if he leaves now. Being an American is a state of mind, a way of thinking, a set of ideals and values. It is what you do that defines you.
