YouTube To Delete Content That ‘Undermines’ 2020 US Election Results

Via ZeroHedge

YouTube will begin removing any content they deem to be ‘misleading’ by alleging widespread voter fraud or errors changed the outcome of the 2020 US election, according to Bloomberg.

The Google subsidiary says it will remove videos claiming President Trump won due to counting errors or software glitches (regardless of whether they’re evidence of said instances, we assume).

“Yesterday was the safe harbor deadline for the U.S. Presidential election and enough states have certified their election results to determine a President- elect,” said YouTube in a statement.

The company says it’s terminated over 8,000 channels and ‘thousands of misleading elections-related videos’ for violating preexisting policies. Over 77% of those were automatically removed before they had 100 views.

As Bloomberg notes, YouTube suspended news network OAN and completely demonetized their channel on November 24 over an ‘unlisted’ video on their channel which was not not able to be viewed publicly. They were prevented from posting new content for one week as well.

The same day, Democratic Senators asked YouTube to remove ‘election misinformation.’

Everybody seems to think that removing section 230 protection is the way to end this Big Tech censorship. As Joel Pollack (Breitbart) and Scott Adams were discussing yesterday, doing that might actually HELP Big Tech and hinder its competitors. If someone sues Facebook for defamation because of something someone had posted on its platform, Facebook could pay off the lawsuit with 20 minutes’ worth of its earnings. If somebody sues Parler or Gab or BitChute and wins, it could put them out of business overnight. It’s like bank regulation – big banks love it because small banks can’t afford the compliance cost.

Seems to me that the better way is to declare these companies monopolies (based on their market share) and require them to carry all legal content without discrimination – like the phone companies.

The issue that started all this, is when John Roberts declared that Corporations have the same rights as people, during the Obama Admin. The implications of the Citizens United decision have cemented the dynamics of US politics, making the path for big $$ to capture political decision making the condition we are now experiencing.

Logic, law, common sense, are out of style today. Feelings matter more than reality,
Karen now runs spewtube, and she rules with an iron stiletto.

These silicon valley titans are just engaging in business as usual, they have become the defacto mouth organ on the political class, in the digital arena, this was done to target the younger generations who will not be using MSM TV programming, they prefer to be programmed by silicon valley social media giants .

Same results, different medium.

I don’t recall if HSF has commented on the physiognomy of this guy but he looks like an “odd bird” every time I see an image of him. Those eyes just aren’t legit.

The biggest news story is STILL being ignored here, a story that will most definitely determine the outcome of the election. Why is that? The media has revealed itself in all it’s ugly glory, it is nothing but the mouthpiece and propaganda arm for the Deep State and the democrats. Even Zerohedge is getting it wrong as they ignore the real story and push pablum articles for the simpleminded.

The virus is a cover, a device for manipulation and diversion and obfuscation. Focus here on the virus and ignore stuff that will truly impact you and generations to come. Pfft.

BTW, Facebook is a grubby corporate welfare whore too, that probably wouldn’t exist if not for government subsidies. This is how government enables Corporate Bolsheviks to censor Americans without actually having to do it themselves and face First Amendment violations in a Federal court. Big Tech has become Deep State’s Ministry of Truth.

I’ve always enjoyed Oleg Atbashian’s “The People’s Cube”. Thanks for re-posting his artwork on TBP. It’s sad, funny, and relevant at the same time. I can remember swearing an Oath and wearing a uniform during the Cold War and seeing the Wall being beaten down with hammers. The people who built it faded and my uniform got put away, but their mindset still abides.

So does my Oath. 🙂

It is time. Time to re-institute the Committees of Correspondence.

Committees of Correspondence were the American colonies’ first institution for maintaining communication with one another. They were organized in the decade before the Revolution, when the deteriorating relationship with Great Britain made it increasingly important for the colonies to share ideas and information. The three main goals of the committees were to establish a system of communication with other assemblies in the other colonies, educate the townspeople on their political rights, and rally support to the cause of American independence against British rule. How did the committees of correspondence help keep people informed? They helped because they exchanged letters in colonial affairs and before long committees were corresponding with one another and with committees in other colonies.

As door after door is shutting, avail yourself of the opportunities still open for communication.

Google/YouTube – By deleting content which does not meet their ideals and political agenda, they by default are creating greater disinformation to build an even more narrow prospective of reality and truth. DEMs are the advocate of a singular thought and behavior and will achieve that goal at any cost. A very toxic ideology to Democracy …
