Has New York Signed its Own Destruction?

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

New York politicians have destroyed their economy and now are looking at raising the taxes on the rich even more. Carl Icahn moves hedge fund from NYC to Miami. Even Goldman Sachs is looking at sending its most profitable division to Florida. This is how the cities have self-destructed. They think that businesses and “rich” individuals are simply there for exploitation. New York City is outrageous and the state is so aggressive in taxes it is unbelievable. One client left New York and moved to Florida. His wife would return to visit friends. The state checked her cellphone calls and said she was still in New York without a residence and went after her and her husband for state income taxes. BEWARE, you cannot even visit New York again or use a burner phone.

MainzThis is the exact same pattern that unfolded in the fall of Mainz during the 15th century. That is where the Guttenberg press was born and the city boomed as if it were a DOT.COM bubble. The politicians were borrowing assuming the boom would lead to never-ending taxes. The more they raised taxes, the more the people left. They could no longer keep the debt rolling for they were doing as we do today. They would issue new debt to pay off the old. They defaulted and even the Pope excommunicated the politicians for their actions. Eventually, the New York Ci8ty equivalent of the 15th century was invaded after it defaulted, it was sacked, and then burned down to the ground.

Has New York City sealed its own fate? Crushing the economy there will be maybe 50% of small businesses left after Christmas. Continued lockdown will probably wipe out most of what is left by next summer. Anyone who has any wealth should leave and if you can survive in an online business, it is time to leave.

And if Uncle China Joe gets into the White House, taxpayer money will fly to the Big Blue States as fast as any plasma weapon. If you complain, then you will be labeled a ‘racist’.

yes, this state sucks, but the city is far worse, it could be a foreign country as far as I’m concerned.

What blows my mind is the facts.
There has been no increase in mortality for US, from 2019 to 2020. get it? there is no pandemic.

The hospitals are not over capacity, an ICU is normally run at 90%, this is the only way intensive care can be profitable, so at most there are only a couple of spare beds in any ICU unit.

Go to a hospital, I just had to deal with it, there are signs at every corner, elevator and stairwell that say “If you are sick, do not enter, stay home” gee wiz, if they are not admitting patients, then how the hell can they be overrun with them?

They are empty, I saw zero patients waiting in 2 different emergency rooms on 2 different days, and so was the local drs. office, completely empty.

No my friends, what we have is a manufactured event, that coincides with the collapse of the financial markets which coincides with the collapse of the cheap oil market.

to cover up all these events, the .gov have implemented the only plan that is being pitched, the plan that they can get financial backing for, and that is: a depopulation plan, by the evil fucks at globohomo.

they will keep up the propaganda under Quid Pro Joe, until they have vaccinated enough people, and created the new control grid that requires a vaccine to:
1. get free money to pay for your apt.
2. get free money to pay off your student loan
3. get more free shit, on top off current free shit.

I highly doubt that what is left of retail will be requiring “vaccination papers”
they exist solely on your discretionary cash flow.

but any business that touches .gov subsidies (the airlines, amtrack, etc) will likely require vaccination.

and boy is it going to be a real bummer when the DNC can no longer get BLM to show up for looting or demonstrations, when they are all malingering on the side effects of the vaccine, and have to call in sick.

yes, these idiots in NY governance are in for a rude awakening, when they discover that the tax base has left, and all they have is a bunch of gimmedats looking for a hand out.

“If you are sick, do not enter, stay home” -sign at hospital. KLASSICK!

Equivalent to the Suicide Hotline number being disconnected.

Keep the Noo Yawkaz from leaving for they shall bring untold misery to wherever they relocate to – their bizarre political beliefs shall destroy your town and county also.

After all this voter fraud bs, how can anybody be sure NY actually voted the commie bastards in ?
I’m sure this isn’t the first time they cheated.

Yes, we in NC have been dealing with the s-hole state flight for decades. Nothing good comes from the influx of Yankees…hence our governor Dooufs Cooper was re-elected with their (and evidently the hysterical fear riddled baby boomer crowd’s) help. They quickly forget what they were fleeing.

You would think that more people means more tax base. Killing 50% of the population reduces the tax base by 50%. I know of no government anywhere that wants to lose 50% of its tax base. Hell the united States government got so pissed when the southern states (more than 50% of the tax base) left the union. This was the true cause of the war between Lincoln and the states that left! TAXES! Lincoln said as much in his first address to the nation after being sworn in. It always amazes me that people think the war of 1860 (I refuse to grace that war with the term “Civil War” as it was not in the least that type of war) was really fought to free negroes.

The Stupid It Burns is truly alive.

I left Illinois 20 years ago. Haven’t looked back since. My utilities are less now in Missouri than they were in IL 20 years ago. Real estate taxes are less as well. Screw those progressive thieves.

I left Illinois in 1995. Never been back, not even to visit. I kept driving until I got to Oklahoma.
No regrets. If rural Illinois could push Cook county into Lake Michigan, it would be a big help.

I think you can stick a fork in NY, especially NYC. I watch a youtuber called Jason Goodman at Crowdsource the Truth and he takes weekly walks around different parts of the city. The progression of retail and restaurant closures has been fascinating. Blocks upon blocks of formerly vibrant businesses are covered up with plywood and grafitti. Blocks of signs with for rent on them. Fewer and fewer people in the streets. These politicians are not going to have anyone to torture before long as evidently most of them are (unfortunately) going to move down South with me.
