Back in ’82, the company I worked for sold some oilfield equipment that landed in China. As part of the deal, we had to train a group of managers & a group of engineers on how to use & maintain the equipment to get maximum use out of it. One of the training sessions was over the New Year holiday and we had a big party for them. Lots of Tsingtao & vodka were consumed. One of the English speaking managers told some of us that the US was a newcomer to the world and his country had thousands of years of history. The Chinese think in terms of 5, 10, 25 & 50 year plans while the US changes policy every 4 or 8 years and changes in congress can occur every 2 years.
We are seeing exactly that take place with Xiden now issuing EO’s as fast as 0bama’s staff can write them. Xi is still in control of China and he has his master plan working. I expect to see massive upheaval in Taiwan soon, followed by insertion of China to calm things down. We will see if Xiden stands down when faced with the pictures of his son Hoover with very young girls and the bank records of money flowing into the “Big Guy’s” bank accounts.

This actually leaves an entire history out that set many of the things in motion, that are addressed here in a manner that smacks a whole helluva lot like Communist [or at least Leftist] PROPAGANDA. I watched it all the way through. Like any well done propaganda drivel, it contained a good bit of truth submerged in a sea of misrepresentations.
The notion presented here that China doesn’t seek to conquer and occupy America and other nations as well is patently false given what we already see in many countries. China may not be using weapons for now, but it certainly has invested heavily in Italy and all through Africa, and many other nations too, in a way that gives it an undue influence in those countries, to its benefit — and to some small degree, theirs too — but more often to their detriment as witnessed in the Sudan.
We’d do well to divest ourselves of China and cut them out of America’s business dealings all the way around. Yes, it would be painful for an America that has grown accustomed to cheap Chinese goods. But, in the long term, it would be in our best interests, on multiple fronts.
Leave Asia to deal with its own troubles and we’ll deal with what we must from North America to South America.
This, of course, is an oversimplified statement that can also be picked apart from now ’til Sunday, and leaves out so much, however, I will say that I am not espousing an isolationist position. Let China have its little manmade islands in the South China Sea, so long as it doesn’t make a pest of itself regarding the international shipping lanes that are already governed by numerous treaties and international agreements.
At the moment, I can think of no good reason to entertain war or start a war with China, so long as it leaves us be and doesn’t try to harm any U.S. interests abroad. That brings in a whole other issue, of how we honor our treaties and promises to come to an ally’s aid, if attacked, i.e. Taiwan. South Korea falls into their sphere of influence too, since North Korea is a Chinese proxy despite assertions by so-called “experts” to the contrary.
The best thing the leaders of both nations could do for themselves and their people is to simply deal honestly with one another, if they wished to do so, and live and let live. But I suppose that would make too much sense.
Yes … now that I think about it more … I don’t know who will start it — But war with China is inevitable, for a multitude of other reasons that just came to mind, including the China Silk Road and the ongoing cooperation between Russia and China and their joint military maneuvers over the past several years that had the U.S. as their “pretend enemy”.

While we were using our foreign aid to arm countries throughout the world (benefiting the MIC), China’s Belt and Road Initiative has been used to loan money to foreign governments to build infrastructure (that the Chinese build, operate and maintain). They now have a foothold in the country as well as leverage over their infrastructure. They could probably put a light battalion into one of these port facilities and nobody would be the wiser.
As mentioned elsewhere, they have their eyes on Africa and the vast natural resources contained in that continent. I do not think they want war with the US, but they do want us out of their neighborhood and get particularly irked whenever we conduct freedom of the seas passages with our naval ships. Right now, they are better off to let us implode and be standing ready to move into Asia and Africa.

I started watching this movie in a good faith, but I was interested in the Bikini Atoll history before already so I could see how freaking heavy handed propaganda in this movie was. I’m not saying that America is all good and never had it made a mistake, never conducted human trials and never experimented on the public. Obviously it has. But the Bikini Atoll wasn’t one of them, and the people who know the history of the H bomb testing understand this. Another thing: China erected the wall before, when it was a Han China, culturally. That’s not the case anymore. Please tell me why it’s so important to establish t”the America is bad” narrative before we discuss anything involving America’s international politics?
So I stopped watching after being turned off by this obvious propaganda. I wasn’t born in America, I moved here and then decided to become a citizen. I’m getting tired of defending this great country from the anti-American propaganda to its natural born citizens. You’ve been brainwashed, and successfully so and now being anti-American is hip. So I won’t be watching this movie because the first 10 minutes are outright lies and white lies and it’s easy to see when one knows the history the good and the bad of the America as an empire so far.
