Eh,during that same time period,I bought a AR-15,less then 300(ammo/mags excluded)/Tull was still a major force in rock,and…….,well……,life was just more fun.
On a side note,the muscle cars and classic 4×4’s went for relatively short money back then.

And a prostate exam. When you get the finger poke up the ass, it’s OK if the doc has no hands or one hand on your shoulder. If he has one hand on each of your shoulders during your exam, you may want to see a different provider.

Too bad it’s in my parent’s basement and we’re forbidden to visit people outside our household. The province is using ‘mobility data’ to track people moving around, which they won’t say but I presume means our mobile phone providers are giving them smart phone location data.
Makes one ponder leaving that smart phone at home, and going to get that Atari! Ah hell, the plastic on the joystick will probably crumble if I tried to use it now anyway.
Donkey Kong, MissleCommand, PacMan,.. good thing my other Stick Controller was good to go when I broke the Atari controller. I DO NOT miss my Atari,.. I play Wii with my kid,.. much better.

A good friend had an Atari. His room-mate also had access to Gainesville Green sensimilla. I enjoyed video games in the early 80’s.

All you rich suckers… You probably had a Schwinn Stingray, too. All I had was a Gnip Gnop and a …well, I can’t tell you about my other toy, I still have it though and it works fine.
If you are in that age bracket, you are getting a daily colonoscopy from the government at all levels.
Also applies to the C64 generation, who are a few years younger…
