We’d like to think they’re overplaying their hand, but that remains to be seen. Robert Barnes Twitter.com/barnes_law thinks that the Left using the levers of power to persecute people (readying a federal double-jeopardy prosecution against Chauvin “just in case” the Mpls jury didn’t convict, keeping Jan 6th DC attendees in jail without bail, seizing Giuliani’s computers but refusing to accept from Giuliani a copy of Hunter Biden’s laptop hard drive) is because they’re “afraid”. Uh… not sure about that. Seems to me they’re not afraid AT ALL. They control the DOJ, the Intelligence services, academia, the tech companies and the media. What do we have? Tucker Carlson? A few weak alt right voices who walk a tightrope expecting to be cancelled at any moment?
The Deep State seems to have a firm grip on the Supreme Court (your NSA at work perhaps) and the most important legal environments – the DC Circuit and the Southern District of NY are places where conservatives cannot even get a fair hearing. They’ve expanded mail-in voting (and its attendant fraud) to ensure perpetual democrat wins – as happened in Washington State. Even the recent census seems to have been massaged to minimize democrat losses in reapportionment.
Most of my buddies – even “conservatives” have gotten vaccinated (I recently discovered). I don’t expect many to meaningfully object to vaccine mandates. They’ll go along to get along. Wouldn’t want to miss that vacation flight.
Carlson is every bit as much of “controlled opposition” as the Republican Party is. It’s all an illusion that allows people to vent rather than picking up their rifles and using them. Remember what Carlin said about “choice”. You have no choice. You have owners.

Those were some cheery thoughts for a Monday morning Iska. Maybe we should hope that the vaccine is really a sinister plot to greatly reduce the population of our planet because I for one will not miss most of the people who received their vaccination.

I saw a futuristic piece some time back where people had electronic “agents” who answered their calls , email, paid their bills etc. while people basically stayed in bed in a drug induced coma day after day. I wondered what in the world would keep people from leaving their house in that manner, a house arrest of sort with drugs to dim the pain. Could it be…….COVID????

Agreed. I’ve already deliberately committed hundreds of felonies, and have zero apologies. Just try real hard not to get caught.
