Hump Day Tuneage

by the subway philosopher™

On occasion, celebrating the midweek hump with a selection of the most eclectic, impolite, disgraceful, head-banging, disturbing, badass, depraved, rebellious, decadent, kick-butt, disrespectful or just plain enjoyable rock n roll of its time feels like a perfectly responsible thing to do, for some reason. Or no reason at all. Crank it up!

What the hell happened? Today’s theme – a visit to the ‘70s.

Declaring a new era. Chuck Berry – Roll over Beethoven

Mayhem in the audience. Sweet – The Ballroom Blitz

AC/DC on a cheesy parade float? Wtf? AC/DC – It’s A Long Way To The Top

The real spirit of rock. Trooper – Boys in the Bright White Sports Car

Some things never change. Black Sabbath – War Pigs

WTF happened indeed. Seems like history does indeed repeat itself. The number and degree of 4th Turning related events just seems to be accelerating each day.

I’d love to change the world, but I don’t know what to do.

I saw Sweet(have mentioned before,I know!)along with Rainbow with Dio/The Atlanta Rythm Section and the show closer, the incredible Foghat! Was one hell of a concert for a young guy!

I also will add some AC-Dc from the Bonn Scott days, the reason I chose this song is a celebration of my new night vision(loving the stuff!)
