The Sunday Times has just reported that Boris Johnson is giving up on the idea of vaccine passports or making businesses check vaccine status.
Again, this is not because Britain – where 80% of people over 16 are fully vaccinated – has controlled Covid. The opposite, in fact.
Other data show that only about 25% of deaths in Britain are among the unvaccinated – and that vaccinated people over 40 are actually MORE likely to get Covid than the unvaccinated.
The truth always wins. Now that one big country has made a long overdue concession to reality, will the rest follow?

So, when they have a vaccine that works (or a totally different vaccine for a totally different disease), everything will be okay and we should go along with it … right? Right?
They’re doing this because too many businesses would go under and their economy is already shaky. And, as the Evil Nab stated, the frogs were starting to pay attention….had to let the water cool a bit. They aren’t done by a long shot….
MyG- Totally agree , the Brits will be singing a different tune next week when it’s back to Vax Passpports again. Tavistock method of flip-flopping the narrative to get the proles quiet.
It’s partly that but I think our Govt may have realised that bringing in vaccine passports will be faced with the growing realisation by the public that the number they claim have been double jabbed is nowhere near the actual number. Some vaccinated people have even said they won’t get a passport regardless so it’s a non-starter.
If there were a virus with a 25% IFR instead of a .3% IFR, it’d be a horse of a different color.
