19 Look upon my enemies, for they are many,

Prayer:
Lord, these people hate me, but they have never met me. They hate me because I follow you. They hate your principles of living, your goodness, your holiness. Guard my soul not only from their attacks, but from being like them in any way. I do not hate them, but I hate the evil and violence they do, even to children. I want them to bow their knees to you, Lord, and I ask you to bring it to pass. You saved me, and I ask you to save them.
We engage in spiritual warfare by first consulting the scriptures to learn what God thinks about himself, about us, our situation, and his adversaries, and what he is doing today and is planning to do. We come into agreement with what God thinks, and his plan, and ask him to do battle on our behalf in the ways he has stated. These prayers are intended to change situations in our natural world, but they also change our hearts as we come to know the heart of God. As we pray together to defeat the forces of evil, we become a closer knit family of God, intent on accomplishing his purposes and living in Christian community. Please join in this spiritual battle by praying the scripture above, out loud, confident that God hears us and loves us, his children.
The prayer above is only a suggestion. Pray as you are led by the spirit. No need for eloquence as our Father simply loves to hear the voices of his children as we bare our hearts to him.

That was actually a title of a book … I read it, a long time ago … but it was a Business book. Obviously themed around the idea that you can’t “hope” your business to profitability. I can consider your Shield & Sword prayers from Psalms as an answer to my prayers from 2009 to 2014. During that time listening to versebyverseministry.org and VOMs {Voice of the Martyrs, which had (Scripture-backed) lessons about praying from Scripture…}, I prayed from Scripture, standing up and not sitting for at least an hour each time for fellowship regarding a study of the Psalms and to rescue victims and bring an end to sex trafficking. (And, of course, for those subjected to persecution.) I did not attend a church, though I sought to be part of one. And even if I had found one, my work schedule kept me from services and bible studies. I was/am picky about churches. Listening to versebyverseministry.org was/is my fellowship.
There is a lot more in-depth, fellowship-struggle, -salty impression-I want to express about why Sword and Shield hits home with me. But if I just say the following. Hannah was the coolest in her Faith (from my vbvm lessons). I know you understand what I am saying.
