HSF, I agree. Few people to which I’ve mentioned this are receptive to the idea of elderly abuse, but I am struck, as are we all, by the weak figurehead kabuki coming from the White House. In my world, the wife bears some large responsibility for letting this happen.

Go by the numbers: how many Americans have been needlessly sacrificed in all manner of situations-from cannon fodder to unlucky bystander killed by a murderer out on $1,000 cash bail? It is hard to muster any sympathy for Joe, his wife and family, or his handlers. Even though it is a nice notion that we are all created equal at the beginning there are millions of dead Americans who are more deserving of sympathy than that nasty old geezer.

Having watched a mother and mother-in-law pass away from Alzheimer’s, and having interacted with both of them, this guy is very hard to watch. That being said, he needs to be put in a memory care maximum security prison, and his enabling wife and handlers need to spend the duration in Gitmo for what they are doing to him and America.
He and the rest of the communist cabal who put him in office need to be arrested, tried and executed (not necessarily in that order).

Reading the transcript is, paradoxically, a comedy riot. If you didn’t know who was speaking and just read the Q&A you would assume it was an SNL skit, and a good one. There wasn’t one single question that was answered as it was intended.
Scratch that-
When asked why so many people questioned his cognitive abilities his answer was simple and direct- “I don’t know.”
That pretty much summed the entire episode up in three words.
He would have been so far ahead if, when he said “I don’t think……..”, he just turned and walked away.
How many of us have known this for years?
For eight years I watched my father go through and succumb to Alzheimer’s, and that also was very hard to watch.
His last two years my mom passed from congestive heart failure and he would tell people she had been gone 10 years, then he would stumble and say 15 years and finally, oh……… a long time.
It frightens me at the agenda to place a person in this state as the president, and those closest to him are also complicit. Fuckedupandbullshit.
And that’s why Joe doesn’t have access to the nuclear suitcase. Or the real White House. Or pudding pops.
