If ever in Vivian , LA be sure to stop at the Wallie World there. It’s not a mega Wallie. They don’t have a produce and meat section, other than hot dogs , bologna, other processed lunch meat , cheese etc. I stay away from and lots of canned goods, chips, candy etc. also avoided most of the time.
I happened to be in the “neighborhood” today and let me say, that smaller store was really clean and organized. I picked up some 100 watt LED light bulbs the Wallie in my area is out of most of the time. Great Value 4 pack, 9 YEAR LIFE for less than ten bucks. I’ve been to that Wallie a few times and what impresses me most is they normally carry a good supply of .22 ammo. The store had one 525 round box of Remington .22 high velocity (muzzle velocity 1280 fps) hollow point. Folks, even with Louisiana’s 9.8% sales tax ( Texas 8.25) turnkey on these rounds was 5.8 cents per round. Hard to beat and while I poke fun at Walmartians and such, that is dang good .22 ammo and nowhere I find it for less. Try them sometime. lol
