This was great to see. It shows that people still have spirit to use their right to assemble and protest. What will come of this though? That fag Trudeau won’t change his policies. I remember back in 2013 when that rapist tyrant Cuomo passed the unSAFE act. We all went to Albany, 25,000+ strong and stood in the cold protesting the bullshit. Then we all went home and nothing happened.
What these truckers need to do is starve the supply chain. Make it so Trudeau and his Commie but buddies can’t get their double lattes and high end caviar. Peaceful protest is great, but it does nothing. It is about as useful as voting nowadays. Actions speak louder than words.

My uncle was a trucker, my sweet good buddy is a trucker, when I was seventeen I got a job as a waitress in a truck stop, the Pit Gril, San Antonio. Garnered quite an education about people, truckers and….country music. Some of the finest souls drive big rigs, kindest hearts too.

Starting the end of 71 for a year I was a three night a week (Thurs-Fri. Sat) 21 year old bartender in ‘Gracie’s Blue Haven Inn’ Bar and No Tell Motel (on Rt. 1 in Edison NJ) fresh out of the Marine Corps.
$1.25 plus tips under the table, plus all the hotdogs I wanted while working. No drinking while working but a free nightcap after closing. I made a killing on tips, I couldn’t believe how much I made in a busy night!
Next to ‘Gracies’ was the Big T Truck Stop…it was a southern run stop.
Most of the core customers were Southern Truck Drivers. With a live Country Band on Fridays and Saturday nights.
It was a busy highway bar 35 minutes outside NYC.
Two unofficial House Lady working girls who used/sometimes lived in the motel for free…one was one of the most beautiful women I had ever seen before or since. I cab still see her delicate but tough face. She drank Rolling Rock nips and occasional shots of black berry brandy…always on the house. Got to know her…never as a customer. One of the saddest persons I had ever met.
On weekends it could resemble a Bar scene from Star Wars.
I had more WILD – CRAZY – OUTRAGEOUS – FUN – INSANE experiences that year serving drinks to that Country Marx Brother movie crowd then any one year in my life.
I got to know a lot of Southern Truck Drivers. Developed many friends among them. I treated them all fair and every fifth drink was on the house (sometimes every fourth). The owner knew it…he has hidden spots where he or his son watched all the bartenders, but he also knew I never stole a nickel (unlike the others – who he fired sooner or later for it – I even turned one thief weasel in).
The owner was an old Wop…Big Sal, who spoke broken English. He wagged his finger at me once smiling and saying: “You noa steal…but youa give away drinks…but to the righta customers”. Then he playfully gave me a light face slap and walked away laughing.
What Great memories from those wild and woolly bully Southern men. I was a baby-faced kid, but after Nam was no kid, and was treated with respect by all of them…every single one.
Its been clear enough… they won’t leave until its done. Do you really think the truckers from BC are simply going to roll home on Monday afternoon???? You think that the three day drive will be interrupted with a couple of hot dogs, honk’n horns and then turn around for a three day drive back on monday or Tuesday???
They are there to stay… nobodies going home, its just starting. The BIG mistake would be to allow lil pony to remain as leader. The twp conditions should be, and I hope it is, that not only an end to the Cov-BS but also a demand the castro kid resigns…

They say they are there to stay, but they’ll go. If they end up blocking and hurting businesses, they’ll either be fined or charged and/or have the trucks towed out of there. Protesting is one thing and okay, but damaging businesses is quite another!! I’ve been watching and reading about it a few times a day and I’m already bored with it and ready to move on to other things thanks to my short attention span and needing a new fix!

This is not a one day event of useless chanting and waving placards. The truckers and all of the Canadians who showed are not going anywhere. The truckers are calling it a bearhug and the squeeze is just starting. Nobody’s leaving. We know that it will cause us some inconvenience when supplies get lean but the alternative promises much worse. This is our line in the sand.
When government abandons it’s functions what does that mean for the people. What happens on Monday when the parliament is to show up for work and they don’t?

It is when a government ceases to fulfill the role that God ordained for government and instead begins to do the opposite. When government purposefully and systematically harms it’s citizens, rather than doing them good.
It is no longer defined in His word as a government. When the government helps the enemies of it’s people and aids those enemies in harming it’s own people, it has lost legitimacy.

I think their actions are great. My hope is that it will start a non-stop refusal to comply. Sadly the cynic in me says wait a week and see what happens. Ontario has an election coming up, just watch where the votes go.

It is just beginning,one of the truckers said had supplies for a couple of weeks,you in the area,make sure they have even more supplies for the long haul(truckers/long haul,see what I did there?).As always will supply from the N.H. border if needed to keep up this fight.
So,had a interesting day today(I know,a lot of you now scrolling past before you hear more of my insanity,tis cool,understand and am not offended!).
So,as in New England with a decent snow,decided a little after 12 p.m. to shovel porch and walk as had about a foot of powder.While doing this saw a couple of strangely dressed nomads coming my way down the road.Both were attired in long john underwear pants/black cable knit sweaters/heavy wool socks and for foot wear Birkenstock’s(?). One had a spear on back with a make shift sling and the other a bow on back with quiver of arrows.
Oh,did I mention both were riding full size polar bears?
They stopped on road at me walkway that leads to porch and dismounted said bears and walked up to me.I kept a wary eye on bears but both proceeded to sit on their rear haunches and just heavily snort and breath as bears known to do.
One of the the riders said”Good morning eh”,sigh……great,Canadians.I know,you may say I am being racist but hung in Montreal a lot before permanent eviction from country,I know the accents.
Plus they are riding frigging polar bears!I will say that is not something we do in New England!
I being a polite chap(and wary of the damn bears!)asked how may I help you,to which the rider responded we are seeking knowledge.
I thought,O.K.,here is a start,stop riding polar bears that are pure white down the middle of the road in a major snow storm with the chance a plow truck may come by,that may not end well!Luckily,I gave that response thought and realized the bears will hear a plow way before a human does and get the hell out of the road.
At this point while thinking the nomad asked if I had seen a man and a duck walking down the road.
What a odd question to ask I thought to meself(as if this situation was not surreal enough!).
While I pondered this question the other nomad spoke up and said the man and duck were probably having a conversation as they went by.Well,O.K.,that clears it up!I mean so many men and ducks have passed by this road in the middle of a storm was a bit confused till this scintillating piece of knowledge.
I replied by saying the man was talking to the duck and the duck responded by going “quack/quack”!Is that what I might have seen?!
Oh no replied the nomad,the duck is knowledgeable of human language and speaks fluent French.Oh,just fucking great,French!
I was going to respond that we in New England do not consider French a “human “language despite all the folks that come from Canada to get cheaper gas/smokes ect and try and infiltrate that language into our culture,but,again looking at the bears and wondering if they have been attack trained decided not the best course of action.
I honestly replied that I had not seen the pair.
With that,the nomad said good day and they both remounted their polar bears.
As I watched them amble down the road in the snow till they were blocked out by snow was wondering what was the knowledge they were seeking.
Was this info. that would help with what was going on in Ottawa,I hope so because otherwise they both should have been there with their bears as said critters are a great physical/psychological force multiplier.
I wondered about the man they sought,was he a wise sage/healer/prophet?
Only then,in a moment of clarity it occurred to me that perhaps the knowledge they sought was from the duck and not the man!

The trucker protest is an appeal to morality. Obviously they won’t find any, to appeal to, in the vast majority of politicians.
So that makes it a question if the populace at large has, in their majority, any/enough morality left and feel it is time to live according to it.

I’m guessing it’s not going to be complex first, like letting the fallout of no deliveries start to add up and affect everyone in some way that will start mounting in minds as only getting worse the longer it lasts.
But I also think Canadians are now united as hell and mentally armed and determined to face ANYTHING necessary for considering this do or die NOW. It’s not like the Canadian gov dropping all mandates would make them stand out and ‘lose face’ as backpedalling first, England/Scotland already did and I forget who else.
