That was 57 years ago and I have never had one regret about leaving. That year was the worst year of my life being around over educated idiots that couldn’t think their way out of a wet paper bag. When I returned to college in 1984 when I’d left the Military, and Affirmative Action had been initiated by the colleges, the students weren’t even book smart any more; I cruised along taking 20 hours (could have taken more) getting all A’s. Before AA, sometimes I had to work my ass off with 12 hours. Today 2022, I wouldn’t be surprised if I could get A’s with 30 hours (provided it wasn’t a Black or extremely liberal College discriminating against me).
