I agree as far as oil. As far as overall inflation, throwing money at a respiratory virus made inflation guaranteed – although I probably shouldn’t quibble about the last $4-5 trillion as though the first $25 Trillion hadn’t also been a mistake.
Then he an Mnunchin printed up $17.66 TRILLION through REPO and bought back mainly shit paper assets from the banks who didn’t appear to close out what was supposed to be short-term positions and instead went on a tech stock buying spree. The inflation we are seeing is due to that money printing in an economy that was still supposed to be closed – probably until 2025. Stock crash is due to banks taking profits on way over-valued tech sector and the inflation is proportional to the amount of money evaporating with every trade in a declining market.
Trump screwed everyone with not only the vaccines but lighting the fuse of hyperinflation. Banks all made a killing. GenX will get handed the bill. Trust the Plan.

I go to church on Sunday where thankfully the Gospel of Jesus Christ is preached, no political banners displayed, no sermons why the congregation should vote one way or the other. Preacher will occasionally crack a low key joke about the political scene, very low key , and even at fellowship gatherings politics is not discussed. $2 + 50% = $3/gal. $3/gal + 50% = $4.50/gal. $4.50 + 25% = $5.63/gal. So, when you taake in compounding interest, we have 45% or so fuel infltion. That dawg can’t hunt much longer.
