It is my sincere desire to provide readers of this site with the best unbiased information available, and a forum where it can be discussed openly, as our Founders intended. But it is not easy nor inexpensive to do so, especially when those who wish to prevent us from making the truth known, attack us without mercy on all fronts on a daily basis. So each time you visit the site, I would ask that you consider the value that you receive and have received from The Burning Platform and the community of which you are a vital part. I can't do it all alone, and I need your help and support to keep it alive. Souderton/Telford was a great place to bring up my family. My home town, Windsor Locks, CT was a homogenous, high-trust community too. Watch my video I do Not Participate to get a plan to rebuild the reactionary retroculture: https://odysee.com/@oldschoolcounselor2018:0/I-Do-Not-Participate-Narrated:c It is not yet time to surrender to these colonizers.
I am making $92 an hour working from home. i was greatly surprised at the same time as my neighbour advised me she changed into averaging $ninety five however I see the way it works now. I experience mass freedom now that I’m my non-public boss. That is what I do.. http://www.profit97.com
Not using plumbing during a thunderstorm is a wise thing, not a lie. Other than golfing or other activities, being struck while showering or otherwise using plumbing, is the main way folks are hurt when lightning strikes a house or travels through underground pipes.
Get off the phone is legit too. A couple years ago I heard a loud crack of thunder about 600 ft from my home. I went to use my computer later and all the lights on the modem were red. To make a long story short at the top of the hill was the infrastructure for the phone line that ran underground to my house. Blew out my router, something in my computer (I think the communications port), and something else which I don’t recall now.
Now I remember. It fried my magicjack.
I got shocked doing the dishes when a bolt hit somewhere.
Yes, but not for newer for homes with PVC pressure lines and ABS drain pipe.
Water is still conductive. Electricity can travel a long ways. I’ll play it safe. I already put myself in dangerous enough situations trying to film lightning.
You’re right Liberty. Water is conductive, stay out of the shower, washing dishes with the water running, etc.
Only every time a fan was on until I was about 17 or so.
Those kids swimming in the pool caused by a clogged sewer grate are officially immune to all viruses for life.
Action Park!!
“The deadliest amusement park in America.”
One of my dearest friend’s dad owned it, and he and
his siblings worked there every summer. Amazing stories.
HBO made a movie about the book one of the brothers wrote
about it.
That was good.
Born long before those box fans, and we didn’t even have the old type at our house. We kept cool by keeping our shirt wet.
When I was 10 – 13, I sent my summers at a local pool called Twilight Beach. About an acre of sand surrounding 3 acres of water. There were 3′ & 10′ diving boards and a 25′ diving platform and a 30′ slide. The water was from a well and was always refreshing.
A family membership for a summer was $25, which my Dad gladly paid to have us out of Mom’s hair every afternoon. Lots of good times there with my friends.
Motel down a ways road had a pool. They would let the kids swim there for a $1. Lot’s of us were there on Saturday when I was about 12 or so. It was called Airways Inn. Looking back I sort of regret trying to grow up so fast and not enjoying my youth. I was on my own at 17. All to end up being bled dry by a corrupt government at this age. I can even remember that piece of shit Bidet since I was young. God how it pisses me off
Grandkids have discovered it.
