No “recession” will be declared until the Democrats get away with cheating by mail again in November.
Next quarterly report will be due just before the election and I feel confident it will show a strong rebound, giving credence to the dem victory.
The Uniparty will be cheating. Just ask Romney and Chaney. When the cheat would be to obvious, they will simply switch sides and move.
By the very definition of a recession being 2 successive quarters of negative GDP, the economy has been in the recession for several months before it is acknowledged. the Fed reacts after the fact and in many cases makes it worse.
Is there anything the government or its agents do correctly?

Most people don’t care how they try to define recession. They care about the cost of living going off the rails. They can’t redefine that.
Not like I really care, but Republicans should find another metric besides gas prices. It’s like if gas is only $3.99 does that mean all politicians should be re-elected? They also look like they’re rooting for high gas prices. Besides, it’s just simplistic and boring to talk about gas prices over and over. Just my opinion.
Apparently Dems are going to try to fix inflation and the economy by throwing $800 billion at changing the weather. Couldn’t we accomplish more for less by just hiring a few witch doctors?
At this point it’s all Voodoo Economics anyway you try to slice it. Energy and food isn’t even a factor in the new statistical formulations. If it was, inflation would be around 18-20%. People don’t care, all they know is their paycheck gets smaller and their costs of living keep’s going up. That blurs the party lines for most.
