REMINDER: Inflation was at 1.4% When Biden Took Office

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

Inflation was only 1.4% when Biden took office. He began implementing policies on his first day that directly created the energy crisis in the US. He refused to reopen the economy under the pretense of COVID for as long as possible, disrupting the supply chain and damaging small businesses. Biden has created multi-trillion dollar spending programs that saddled the nation with more debt and increased price volatility. His team has been working to divide the people and create civil unrest. I could go on about his failures, but his worst move was involving America in the Russia-Ukraine war. Inflation has steadily risen to unsustainable levels nearly every month since Biden took office.

Have you noticed, as the election looms, the Party of Chaos trips deeper into its own self-created chaos? Turns out that the effort to make Ukraine the fifty-first state is not going over so well with the voters. Nor is the campaign to convince children to switch sexes. Or the crusade to sell ever more mRNA “vaccines” that the CDC knows good-and-goshdarn-well is killing and maiming credulous citizens by the millions. Or the program for importing limitless alien “vibrance” across the open border with Mexico…. As the venerable Rolling Stones sang more than a half century ago: “Rape… murder… it’s just a shot away!” This is the kind of country that the Party of Chaos has been grooming you up for.

“YOU TOO CAN LIVE IN A SHED” – BIDEN’S 2024 CAMPAIGN SLOGAN

This is exactly what Dr. Evil Schwab, Farmer Gates, Covid Joe Biden and their merry band of Davos billionaires and climate change nutjobs want everyone to do, if they survive the covid jab culling. Expect more promotional stories like this.

Family Of Six Moves Into Toolshed To Escape Inflation Storm

A family of six downsized from a single-family home into a 500-square-foot toolshed in northwest Arkansas after government-enforced COVID lockdowns of the 2020s paralyzed the economy and led to job loss and evaporation of personal savings.

“One of the things people find really weird about us living in a shed is that we use a composting bathroom rather than a traditional toilet,” Jessica Taylor, 30, told NYPost, who lives in the shed with her husband Lath, and four children.

We Know What Bidenflation Feels Like, But What Does It Look Like? It’s Not Pretty

Via The Blue State Conservative

by Steve MacDonald

Inflation has been brutal on the price of everything. It’s the not-so-hidden tax on Americans and usually the result of meddling from high up the political food chain. If you need a visual of the pain, here’s a video of a graph that shows inflation in real terms.

The Fed Fiddling While the Inflation Bonfire Incinerates the Dollar

From Peter Reagan

This week, Your News to Know rounds up the latest top stories involving gold and the overall economy. Stories include: The rug over stagflation is getting difficult to walk on, hedge fund manager bullish on gold in the current economic environment, and the long shadow of the Ukraine war.

When officials admit there’s trouble, you know there’s REAL trouble

There is a general and broad trend of so-called “financial experts” downplaying problems until those problems are painfully clear to even the most disinterested spectator, wreaking havoc across the economy. It’s the economist equivalent of turning up the radio in response to a pesky rattling coming from under the hood of the car.

JUST PADDLING WHILE THE EMPIRE BURNS

The phrase “fiddling while Rome burns” is an intriguing idiom, referencing the great fire which ravaged Rome for six days in 64 A.D. and the legend that Nero, one of the most sadistic, decadent, and cruel rulers of all-time, instead of taking action to stop the fire, played his lyre while composing a song about Rome’s destruction. The Roman historian Tacitus wrote that Nero was rumored to have sung about the destruction of Rome while watching the city burn but it’s likely this was just a myth.

The fire destroyed seventy percent of the city and left half the population homeless. There are those who believe Nero set the fire on purpose, especially after he used land cleared by the fire to build his Golden Palace and its surrounding pleasure gardens. Being a soulless autocrat at heart, Nero did what all feckless politicians do, he blamed the Christians (an obscure religious sect at the time) for the fire and had many arrested and executed.

Bill Kristol on Twitter: "1952 years ago: Nero fiddled while Rome burned. Today: GOP bigs fiddle while the Republican Party burns. https://t.co/gnFUu1MoaJ" / Twitter

Whether this story is true or just a parable, the messages are pertinent throughout history, and never more so than now. Occupying one’s time doing inconsequential things while a catastrophic event is underway is the ultimate in leadership failure. Focusing on trivial matters while your people are suffering during a time of crisis is the mark of an ineffectual irresponsible leader or one whose true purpose is to burn down society so it can be “built back better” in the form of a communist totalitarian state ruled by a globalist elite cabal.

Obama Called the Gas Tax Holiday a Gimmick

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

President Joe Biden is calling for a three-month gas tax holiday to lower the price at the pump. Interestingly, former President Obama opposed a gas tax holiday when energy prices were much lower. In fact, he called temporarily suspending the tax a “gimmick.” The US government currently charges 18 centers per gallon of gasoline and 24 cents per gallon of diesel.

OOPS: MSNBC Host Goes Live With Furious Father, Instantly Regrets What He Says About Biden

by Gen Z Conservative

Do Americans like Joe Biden, the American republic’s seeming attempt to recreate Emperor Galba (with his son, Hunter, doing an even better job of imitating Elagabalus, the most depraved of all the emperors)? No, no they don’t.

In fact, Americans are so mad about how terrible of a job Biden is doing that even traditionally Democratic voting blocs are turning away from him and toward the GOP.

Putin: They Even Named Inflation After Me

Vladimir Putin is not suffering from sanctions. The West has shot itself in the foot by banning essential Russian imports without an alternative in place. “They even named inflation after me,” he joked, hinting at the “Putin price hike” western politicians have been declaring.

BIDEN’S “PUTIN INFLATION” NARRATIVE

I guess Biden’s bullshit works on his queer studies and gender, diversity & inclusion graduates with $200,000 of student loan debt and jobs at TGI Fridays. But it doesn’t work on anyone with brain cells and ability to think, rather than feel.

US Consumer Prices Reaccelerate In May, Highest Since 1981

Via ZeroHedge

Having briefly slowed its inexorable rise in April – offering reawakened hope for the ‘transitory’ or ‘peak’ inflation camp – consumer prices were expected to continue accelerated in May (as energy costs soared). Consumer prices rose by a far larger than expected 1.0% MoM (significantly higher than the +0.3% MoM in April and the +0.7% Exp). That sent the YoY CPI to +8.6% – a new cycle high…

Headline CPI pushed to its highest since 1981 and has now risen for 24 straight months.
