Biden a ‘rare kind of idiot’ – Medvedev

The senior Russian official has mocked the US leader’s latest gaffe

US President Joe Biden’s recent blunder in which he mixed up Ukraine and the Middle East sums up his poor mental state, former Russian leader Dmitry Medvedev has claimed.

Biden’s gaffe came in an interview with MSNBC on Saturday, as he discussed the Israeli military campaign in Gaza with host Jonathan Capehart. The US leader said West Jerusalem should not repeat the mistakes that Washington made following the September 2001 terrorist attacks.

“America made a mistake. We went after Osama bin Laden until we got him, but we shouldn’t have gone into Ukraine,” Biden stated. He then corrected himself, saying he meant “the whole thing in Iraq and Afghanistan,” referring to the US invasions and occupation of the two Middle Eastern nations. Confusing places and people has been a recurring issue for the 81-year-old president.

Biden Mocked For Posting His State of the Union Notes

Via Gateway Pundit

Joe Biden on Monday posted his State of the Union notes to Twitter.

His staffers must hate him.

Biden will deliver his State of the Union address at the US Capitol on the House floor on Tuesday.

Biden’s notes included instructions for him to “PAUSE” – hopefully he doesn’t say “pause” out loud.

Why Biden Is Putting Us In Danger

Authored by Michael Shellenberger via Substack,

Nobody says he cares more about working people, national security, and the Western alliance than President Joe Biden. Why, then, is he putting them in jeopardy?

Russian President Vladimir Putin, U.S. President Joe Biden, and Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman

On Friday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre defended the Biden Administration’s policy of sending American oil to China and other nations. “When it comes to the oil, it is something that oil companies decide… The Department of Energy can’t dictate what oil companies do with the oil they purchase or where they ship it to sell.”

But the United States Department of Energy (DOE) does decide to whom it will sell oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR). “A total of 16 companies responded to this notice, submitting 126 bids for evaluation,” noted DOE. A dozen won contracts. One was Unipec America, the trading arm of Sinopec, the China Petrochemical Corporation, which is wholly owned by the Chinese government.

Biden’s Presidency Summarized In One Tweet

With markets cratering thanks to a flood of terrible economic data – which is anything but ‘transitory’ – this tweet by Ross Hendricks sums things up nicely:

Biden: “No Rational Basis” For 9mm Ammo In Self-Defense

Via ZeroHedge

In spontaneous remarks on the White House lawn this morning, President Joe Biden pointed his shaky gun control sights at the most popular self-defense cartridge in America.

Recalling a trip to a New York trauma center, Biden said:

“They said a .22-caliber bullet will lodge in the lung, and we can probably get it out—may be able to get it and save the life. A 9mm bullet blows the lung out of the body. So the idea of these high-caliber weapons is, uh, there’s simply no rational basis for it in terms of…self-protection, hunting.”

It’s not the first time Biden has condemned 9mm weapons. In 2019, Biden noted that Americans aren’t allowed to own machine guns or bazookas before asking, “Why should we allow people to have military-style weapons including pistols with 9mm bullets and can hold 10 or more rounds?”

As the New York Post notes, 9mm pistols dominate Americans’ holsters, nightstands and gun cabinets:

According to Shooting Industry magazine, 9mm pistols accounted for 56.8% of all handguns made in the US during 2019. In all, more than 15.1 million 9mm guns were produced in this country during the 2010s. The possibility of outlawing or otherwise regulating such weapons are likely to be a non-starter among conservatives and gun rights advocates.

Psaki Reminds Reporters That Biden Doesn’t Speak For The President Of The United States

Via The Babylon Bee

WASHINGTON, D.C.—In a tense press conference Monday, Press Secretary Jen Psaki faced pointed questions about several Biden misstatements that led to chaos during his trip overseas. Psaki quickly reassured the gathered press that Biden doesn’t speak for the President of the United States.

“The President has clearly said, and we agree, that Joe Biden does not speak for this administration,” said Psaki to the confused reporters. “Nothing said by Biden should be misconstrued to reflect the official foreign policy of the President. This administration has been clear from the beginning, that we have always been clear about what we have been clear about, clearly.”

Biden Addresses Soaring Inflation, Blames Pandemic, Lies About Wages

As his approval rating plunged below 40 for the first time – and is now significantly below that of President Trump at this time in his term – President Biden knew he had to come out and address the fact that despite all his promises, the average American is facing prices on consumer goods rising at their fastest in 40 years.

In a statement from The White House, the president blames the pandemic, says he has lots of tools, empathizes with ‘real stress at the kitchen table’, and then tells a giant fib about wages…

Majority Of Americans Already Wear A Mask In Public

Via ZeroHedge

When President Biden took office on Wednesday, he didn’t waste any time before getting to work. Mr. Biden signed 15 executive orders and two executive actions in his first hours in the Oval Office, many of which reversed policies implemented by his predecessor Donald Trump.

Aside from re-joining the World Health Organization and the Paris Agreement and reversing course on immigration, Statista’s Felix Richter notes that Biden also issued a mask mandate on all federal property and during interstate travel. While lacking the authority to implement a nationwide mask order, Biden urged Americans to wear masks for the next three months.

“Just 100 days to mask, not forever. 100 days. And I think we’ll see a significant reduction,” he said.

Don’t Buy a New Car

Guest Post by Eric Peters

There’s a very sound reason to not buy a new car, given the (s)election of El Presidente Biden. It is that the incoming jefe seems determined to make whatever you buy in 2021 or thereafter a worthless car by 2030.

If it’s not an electric car.
