In a recent response to the FBI’s recovering of classified documents from Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence, South Carolina senator Lindsey Graham predicted “riots in the streets” if the former president is indicted over his retention of the materials after leaving the White House.
As Statista’s Martin Armstrong notes, there have been rumblings of warning signs from some observers for some time that the U.S. could get dragged into a civil war if it continues on its route of growing political and social division – concerns only amplified in the wake of the January 6 storming of the Capitol.
By now, the impression that a civil war could be brewing has spread to the general public, and as a new Gallup poll indicates, to a large extent.

When looking at all adult U.S. citizens responding to the survey, 43 percent said they think that a civil war is at least somewhat likely in their country in the coming decade.
As the chart above shows, those identifying as ‘strong Democrats’ were slightly more optimistic overall, but 40 percent still held this position. A majority of ‘strong Republicans’ on the other hand said they think civil war is coming – 54 percent.

Why didn’t the poll ask if there was a chance of civil war in one year? I surmise if the Bolsheviks are not stopped in one year it is all over. Funny that we have a nation of cowards armed to the hilt. We have sayings in this country people quote like “Don’t tread on me” or “they will only take my gun from my cold dead hand”. These sayings come from a different generation of people; not the current generation of morally weak men.
When the constitution came we lived under common law. In the 20th century lawyers wrote a new law called Administrative law but when one closely examines this law it really follows Admiralty Law; the law of the sea.
It seems to me that common law is a law suited for moral people while administrative law is written to control morally weak spineless people.

I don’t necessarily disagree with you but I always find it amusing when men criticize other men for not doing something they themselves have not done. Have you picked up your rifle and stepped off the porch to meet your martyrdom and prove how morally strong you are?
More so than you think. I have learned the law and fight them with there own law. But there are few of us that have learned the law so only a few have spoken up and when we do speak up we don’t get the backup we need from those I call cowards. Administrative law is not the peoples law. It is tyrants law. When tyrants get confronted with their own law they don’t like it and get irate. Then they break the law as many in the government are doing now. Do you know the laws you live under in this country? I criticize people that do not know the law because this puts my rights in jeopardy. When unelected administrators make stupid rules and regulations under the cloak of statutes they need to be challenged but when the majority do not know the law then this is when I see how many people are cowards because we still have our God given conscience to guide us. One man speaking up does not detour a tyrant. But many standing together with intent does have an affect. I fight with moral truth. This works when men are moral.
The good thing about a US civil war is that we could save on shipping costs. Rather than sending weapons overseas, we could just keep them here where Biden can use them on the F-15s he thinks are such a fine idea.
Seriously, however, the Admin’s article a few days ago about the civil war in Northern Ireland is probably closer to what we can anticipate. Lots of low-level guerrilla activity with important places and people from both sides getting blown up unexpectedly.

What is coming is much more like Northern Ireland than the Civil War. Formations of local gangs and small militias.
Propaganda about racial massacres and ethnic cleansing will justify NATO involvement and allow for the targeting of anyone opposing government, most likely using drones.
