My folks called it liver sausage and I ate plenty growing up. Just with butter on wheat. I haven’t seen any in years. Used to really like it. Drive-In Theaters were definitely a part of the Good Old Days, in my recollections. We sometimes even watched part of the double-feature!
My best friend’s parents owned the local drive in and I used to sit in the booth with him while he took the money and we would talk to the girls as they came in. He had to stay in the booth until 45 minutes after the movie started, then we would go in to find the girls he had let in for free. Definitely had a good childhood.
