Quota-based hiring and promotion has had deleterious effects on those awarded status-based preferment. The best among them are left in doubt whether they earned their place. The worst understand that it is an entitlement independent of performance, which, of course, undermines not only their performance but the performance of everyone else as well. If a portion of employers can get along with lackadaisical performance, the others follow suit. This is another reason, along with declining educational standards, that nothing works as well as it formerly did.
Far from helping blacks, racial preferments harm them by undermining effort. Indeed, as they undermine black effort, racial preferments could be said to be tools of white racism.
The purpose of the 1964 Civil Rights Act was to provide enforcement of the Constitutional requirement for equality under the law. The Act explicitly prohibited racial quotas. Nevertheless, the EEOC bureaucracy established a quota regime and began the process of elevating blacks by preferment and force. The House and Senate and the Department of Justice (sic) failed to enforce the law as written. The replacement of persuasion with coercion has undermined both democracy and equal treatment under the law.
As applied, the 1964 Civil Rights Act requires discrimination against white Americans, especially heterosexual males. The Act achieved the exact opposite of its intended purpose–equality under the law.
The consequence is the paradox of today. The dogma rules that blacks are victims of white oppression, but white heterosexual males are clearly second class citizens.
In the past half century a status-based society based on race, gender, and sexual preference has gradually taken form in the United States. Today we are experiencing the introduction of racial status into criminal law. Some local jurisdictions have passed laws decriminalizing theft by blacks for amounts less than $950. Widespread looting and destruction of business districts have been left unpunished. Increasingly we hear that incarceration of blacks is due to their race, not to their high incidence of crime, and that sentencing blacks for crime is racist. Differential rights based on skin color, gender, and sexual preference are becoming fixtures in our society. Consider that if parents were to expose their underage children to the content of drag queen shows, Child Protective Services would intervene, but when drag queens do so it is paid for by government.
The normalization of perversity and the criminalization of traditional morality is the path of our future.

That is why I retired early back in 2020, shortly after I turned 58. You get to a point in life where you just get sick of the woke imposed insanity, regulations that make no sense but are created by those who never do your job, mandates such as wearing face diapers while working at a job where you are isolated from everyone 24/7/365, and getting harassed for being an old white guy.
I am glad I listened to my grandparents who survived the Great Depression in better financial shape than 99% of the population simply by saving everything they earned in the 1920s and then not investing it in the latest get rich quick schemes. Following that wise advice enabled me to call my financial planner and was told I could retire comfortably. The wokester indoctrination camp graduates of snowflake failure management took over at work after the owner died of old age and the kids didn’t want to manage the company. All they accomplished was to alienate the older employees and forced them to retire, while blaming the older employees for leaving, retirement age, or not.
I got into a fight with the woke management over the insane mandates and alleged racist accusations made against me. I learned that a black could accuse me of anything and there was nothing I could do to defend myself. They gave me a 30 day cooling-off period because firing me would give them a terrible appearance to younger employees. 3 weeks later, I called them and told them I was out of there. They told me to fuck off over the phone.
A week later, the woke HR department calls me, crying and pleading for me to come back. “We need someone who is responsible and dependable! Reeeeeeee!” I told them who I wanted fired before I would come back. Then I ended the call. Those I wanted fired were 100% white, but enabled the anti-whitist agenda.
HR never called back, so I assume closing ranks among the woke mentally incompetent is more important than getting the jobs done on time and properly. Now I keep hearing reports that the company is in decline and can’t find anyone who is competent and dependable to do the tasks that need to be performed. Even after massive pay increases and hiring bonuses. Sometimes, you get what you want. Sometimes, you get what you deserve.

Baltimore’s public schools now spends more per student than any other system of similar size in the country yet a majority of students cannot read or perform math at an elementary level yet they graduate with a highly inflated level of self esteem and a 1.6 GPA .
The system is run by a majority of blacks and the student population is majority black . Now add that 80% of the city school budget comes from Maryland taxpayers outside the city that are majority white .
So somehow the toxically masculine blue eyed white devil is responsible for all their failures !
Heaven forbid the system is racist at its roots by allowing lower expectations and insisting proper reading , writing and higher math skills are institutional racism by the white race .

Baltimore is just like every other socialist containment disaster zone. Not a single conservative white Constitution-following American can be found, yet it is always their fault. The 1964 Civil Rights Act is an abomination. Why is it that every piece of progressive, egalitarian legislation happens to become a spigot of extralegal administrative fiat against the supposed spirit of said legislation?
It’s almost like that was the whole point: to codify the sacred moral quest of Progress to purify the nation of its original sin of White Christian heritage.

Ahh the post office : I was working in a Marina Years ago and the mail delivery person (300 pound 5 foot tall she Boone)
Asked “WHERE BE DA OFFICE” I directed her to the main office for the complex and said it’s on the second floor of that building ! Her reply was priceless “STEPS, I don’t be doin no steps” !
Yes she was actually going to get off her ass and walk upstairs for a special delivery requiring a signature!
She asked if I would sign for it , I replied sorry I’m an outside contractor and cannot sign for delivery for the Marina !
She was pissed !
Probably retired now and dead or dying from diabetes
