Ukrainian troops’ losses jumped by 40% in February, surpassing 11,000 people — Shoigu

Via TASS

The minister said it continues to be a priority for the Russian armed forces to preserve the lives and health of its personnel and civilians

MOSCOW, March 7. /TASS/. The losses of Ukrainian troops jumped by 40% in February, surpassing 11,000 people, Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said during a conference call with top commanders of the Russian armed forces.

“There’s considerable growth of losses among the personnel of the Ukrainian armed forces. In February alone, they increased by more than 40% compared with January and totaled more than 11,000 servicemen. In connection with this, it’s surprising how the Kiev regime doesn’t care about its people, tolerating any cost to human life to please its Western handlers,” he said.

The minister said it continues to be a priority for the Russian armed forces to preserve the lives and health of its personnel and civilians. Shoigu also said Russian troops will continue to perform missions as part of the special operation.

The West, as part of the US strategy to “break Russia by force of weapons,” in ramping up arms shipments to Kiev but that doesn’t result in Ukrainian achievements on the battlefield, Shoigu said.

I’ve never met a Ukrainian.
No Ukrainian has ever helped me fix my car, paint my house, invite me over for dinner, etc., etc, so on and so forth.
What do I owe them?

I do know they hate Russians, the very same Russians we were allied with once in order to kill Nazis.
If were able to have a say in where the money my government robs from me goes, I’d rather it went to the Nazi killers.

Actually, most Ukrainians don’t hate Russians – they are Russians, or friends. Ukraine means borderland in Russian, IIRC. But, yeah, I’m sorry they’re having their troubles, as all humanity does. Americans aren’t eating. Maybe save our own asses first.

I know a few Ukies. They hate russia and only because they can’t think past the propaganda the USSA media whores pump out. And, they’ve never lived in Ukie and only have distant relatives there.

I worked with an older guy from Ukraine. He once told the story of being conscripted by Russia into WWII, getting captured by German forces, and being assigned as a valet for a German general. He seemed pretty happy how things worked out, though I never learned the part about what happened to him in 1945 when things went downhill fast for Germany, other than somehow he later wound up in the US. Prior to the war he had worked as a signal technician for Russian railroads-which probably was considered hi-tech in the day.

He once told the story of being on vacation with his wife in western Canada and haggling with a hotel clerk about the price of rooms. He and his wife discussed strategy in their native tongue in front of the clerk, who refused to budge on price, even though it was late in the day and there were plenty of empty rooms. Only later did he learn that the clerk also was Ukrainian and knew what their negotiating strategy would be.

Almost funny:

Biden officials claim rogue Ukrainian Navy Seals pulled off deep sea Nord Stream sabotage, despite Ukraine not having a functioning navy
The state’s churnalists continue to publish anonymously sourced, comically deficient tales of ruling class heroism.

Say you’re living in a country or a region of a country that has a grievance against the big regional power. So, you’re in Ukraine or Georgia or Kazakhstan or Taiwan or the Sunni region of Syria. Along comes Uncle Sam – the same country that lost in Vietnam and abandoned the Shia “Marsh Arabs” to Saddam’s revenge in Iraq after the FIRST US-Iraq, war when the US prodded the Marsh Arabs to rebel. And Uncle Sam promises to “protect” you from the Big Regional Power. How fucking stupid would you have to be, at this point, to think signing up as a US vassal is a good idea? I know sometimes the US doesn’t leave you any choice. They pull a “color revolution” if you decline their mafia-like offer of protection. At this very moment the US is trying to use the West-favoring Russians who fled to Georgia to re-start the Rose Revolution there. Uncle Sam tried to pull the same “color revolution” in Belarus in 2020 and in Kazakhstan in January, 2022. They tried to light Armenia on fire 6 months ago. They’re trying to stoke a revolution in Hungary. They’re brainwashing young people in Taiwan to think that becoming an independent country is actually a viable option.

Being an American is like realizing your dad is in the Mafia.

Until the fiat breaks and the nice things lose their luster due to the fact people can’t eat them, the sell-out will continue.

People here in FUSA regularly vent on the criminality and perversion of various institutions but still send their sons and daughters to be grist in the mill because they can’t mentally and spiritually divorce from the trappings of progressive status.

College, military, woke churchian, government make-work, big city law/finance/marketing/”technology” and so on, all have a steady stream of based dad’s children lining up for their mandatory diversity training.

Indeed the mafia. Kissing the ring. In defense of taking that offer you can’t refuse; the alternative is awful spartan and difficult and isolating – and we aren’t even in hard times yet. Our version of CIA-backed African warlords has been around a long time but is harder to see through all those nice tidy mcmansion rooftops.

There may be no shortage of over the top cynical type posters on the TBP comment sections but in my opinion you and the person you replied to are not among them , but instead fellow clear eyed realists . I wish it weren’t so but the more I know the more I come to realize that it absolutely is so . yeah don’t let these DC assclowns to get like, even a couple of toes into the door of your country ,no matter how much they promise or flatter . Who knew Ozzy Ozbourne was so spot on when he sang about them in War Pigs all those years ago ?Black Sabbath wasnt even my Jam just sayin eerily prescient .

The US and Zelenski are happy to sacrifice every life in Ukraine to further the goal. The amount of casualties in February represent about 30% of what Russia has lost since the beginning of the war. The sheer amount of lies and deception surrounding this war is unbelievable. It is my fear, the coming so called Ukraine offensive is going to be a disaster for Ukraine, and the casualties will be massive.
