Carlson is correct that Nixon was an enemy of the Deep State, but the plot against Nixon originated prior to Nixon’s meeting with CIA Director Richard Helms. Nixon was removed because he was normalizing US relations with the Soviet Union and China. This was seen as taking away the needed enemies for the military/security complex’s budget and power. This was also the main reason the CIA murdered President Kennedy.
Kennedy, having come face to face with nuclear war in the Cuban Missile Crisis, was working with Khrushchev to normalize US-Soviet relations. President Trump’s intention to normalize US relations with Russia was the reason Trump was removed from office. Note that Biden has learned the lesson and does everything possible to raise tensions with Russia. After the CIA’s removal of three US presidents, what future president will dare to move against the CIA?

JFK’s biggest ‘sins’ were trying to rein in israel’s nuclear weapons program (they had stolen both the plans for our nuclear weapons AND the fissionable materials from US) and that he wanted all of the pro-zionist PACs to register under FARA … and he had, in fact, turned his brother RFK (the Attorney General) loose to force just that.
One of LBJ’s first official acts after JFK was murdered was to have RFK stand down on pursuing those PACS …
Whew, calling Richard Nixon the most popular president ever is a huge stretch of the imagination and distortion of reality! What is PCR on? His piece demands context and clarification.
Was Nixon set up, yes he was. He was set up from the jump; the shot callers behind the scenes already knew his VP Spiro Agnew was corrupt but they pushed him on the ticket anyway so they could use that against Nixon later down the road. Nixon’s ambition blinded him to the political realities; he knew or suspected who killed Kennedy but he played ball with the miscreants anyway.
Hubert Humphrey ran against Nixon in 1968 during a time of national turmoil and tumult: Vietnam, racial conflict, financial uncertainty rising inflation like what we’re experiencing now (hint: the plutocrats playbook is really really thin). Nixon capitalized on the volatility, fear and anxiety by running on Law and Order! How’s that for irony and hypocrisy given so many of Nixon’s inner circle were crooks and warmongers.
Don’t forget Henry Kissinger played a huge role in Nixon’s administration and we know he is a total psychopath! When Congressman Gerald Ford became President following Nixon’s resignation (Ford was a Warren Commission member imagine that, what a coincidence!), Ford appointed Nelson Rockefeller as Vice President. As far a stabilizing relations with Russia and China neither of these countries were genuine threats to the US hegemony. The media made Russia a threat to bolster the MIC, hype the bogus Cold War and advance US imperialism/Neocolonialism around the globe. In reality the US “industrialists” and financiers propped Russia up just like they did Germany prior to WWII. Likewise Henry Kissinger helped open China up to Western capital, get it into the World Trade Organization, gain Most Favored Nation status and opened it to massive direct foreign investment. Prior to that, China was a country whose economy was basically subsistence agriculture and regional trade.
Was tearing out a wall today and found a bunch of old newspapers from 1973. Headline was about the Nixon tapes.

The writing was so clear and concise it was as if it had been written by Faulkner. I only saw one black face in the entire paper (Benson), every woman was wearing a dress or a skirt, and no homos were in evidence. I felt like I’d stumbled across a relic from a divergent timeline.
I tore out a wall recently and found old beer cans from the construction guys long ago. Churchkey beer cans. Made of steel like a car door. Looked like brand new. With bright beautiful colors, likely lead paint. Schlitz cans dated 1946. Rinsed the dust off and could smell beer. Real old fashioned beer. I never remember Schlitz smelling that good. Later they went to ice-brewing, beer flavored water. “A relic from a divergent timeline”….
