Amused to Death is the third studio album by English musician Roger Waters, released 7 September 1992 on Columbia. Produced by Waters and Patrick Leonard, it is mixed in QSound to enhance its spatial feel. The album features the late Jeff Beck on lead guitar on several tracks. The album’s title was inspired by Neil Postman’s 1985 book Amusing Ourselves to Death.

TBP is very fond of Roger Waters as I can see.
So am I.
An not only music-wise.
Pink Floyd is also my favourite, maybe even more.
But David Gilmour is talking BS.
I like Waters’s attitude toward a lot of things: UA RU war, Julian Assange.
Not so sure about about him and Israel, but time will tell.
Another person in the music business was Frank Zappa.
His interviews are highly recommended.
I can’t believe that you just put Waters and Zappa in the same box.
We are not amused.
The box also contains Tangerine Dream, King Crimson, Gentle Giant, Genesis, Jimmy Hendrix and many more.
But that is music.
Both Waters and Zappa share the same ideas of individual liberty.
That was the point.
Amuse yourselves:)
I still have the CD from 92. It was a good album, however as I’ve gotten older, listening to it is depressing just as most of Water’s work. Cynicism isn’t good for you as you move into your later years as life experiences have already made their impact
Best fucken song he ever wrote. Sheep is a close second.
ZFG, out.
P.S. this species has amused itself to death.
