STORM SHADOW – Alert 2025! – Art Interlude – The Last Hurrah – EVs? – Trade Deal? – Multipolar World – Cost-Push – Localisation – A Story – Letter from Great Britain – [05-20-23]

My theme this week is ‘Multipolar World’. With the message: “Give a man a fish and he will eat today, but give him a fishing rod and he will eat forever! Read how this works in our fractured world

STOP PRESS:  STORM SHADOW – BRITAIN AT WAR.  The incorrigibly pugnacious Brits are at it again, escalating the Ukraine conflict, having sent cruise missiles for the first time since the start of the conflict: “I can confirm that the UK is donating Storm Shadow (aka SCALP) missiles to Ukraine,” Defence Secretary Ben Wallace informed Parliament last week. HMG says the missiles are a weapon enabling the Ukrainians to gain back occupied territory; [you wish!].  It can only extend the suffering of innocent millions and needs to stop now.

These missiles are made by MBDA UK LTD.  This company was formerly part of BAE Systems, although the ultimate owner is in USA. Each cruise missile costs an estimated £2m.  The Storm Shadow was originally developed as a project between the UK and France in the early 1990s but is now a truly multinational operation.  It’s not actually of British origin as reported, being merely assembled in Stevenage. Don’t believe the MSM-BS hype – they just print what they are told.

‘Little Britain’ should be very careful poking the Great Bear in its backyard. HMG has not said how many missiles have been despatched but I estimate from my sources that they have around 500 in stock.  This is not the 1930s when Britain would often send a Gunboat to enforce its will on its Empire – they are playing with the BIG BOYS now!

NEWS FLASH – ALERT 2025/6 – The British government have locked you down again!  Take notice – here is the new ALERT (look on your smart phones, listen carefully). What happens in America sweeps over the pond at a pace.

Just in case you missed it here is the transcript: “Freedom of Speech is banned.”  Just watch what you speak and think!   The BBC interrupts this program with a special bulletin. Britain is now under Marshall Law. All constitutional rights have been suspended.   Stay in your homes.

Do not attempt to contact love ones or insurance agents. Shut up.  Do not attempt to think or manic depression may occur.  Stay in your homes.  Curfew is at 1900 sharp after work.  Anyone caught outside the gates of their surveillance sectors after curfew will be shot.

Remain calm, do not panic.  Your neighbourhood watch officer will come round to collect urine examples in the morning.  Anyone caught interfering with the collection of urine examples will be shot.

Stay in your homes, remain calm.  The number one enemy of progress is to question National Security which is more important than individual rights.  All BBC broadcasts will proceed as normal.

No more than two people may gather anywhere without permission (aka Covid).  Use only the drugs described by your doctor. Shut up, be happy.  Obey all orders without question.  The comfort you demanded is now mandatory. Be happy.  Everything is done for your benefit.   Comply with all government instructions – we are here to help you.  Stay Calm and Carry On.

INTERLUDE FOR THE ARTS: I was fortunate to meet an amazingly enterprising couple in our social club, The Sun Inn, Bruton, last month (Bruton is very ‘arty’), and learned all about new artworks that have exploded on the market.  Perhaps collectors and galleries would like to take a look

FINE ART at Martock Gallery. We stock limited edition prints and original artworks by many of the country’s leading artists, as well as gifts including objects d’art, handcrafted wood creations, candles, glass, sculpture and ceramics. In addition to pictures, we have framed items ranging from lollipop sticks, to sports shirts, ballet shoes, lathe and plaster remnants and all sorts of crafts and keepsakes.  If you want to keep lasting memories, then we can frame it and our friendly team are on hand to help you.

MUSICAL FUN TIDBIT: THE LAST HURRAH:

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK: A timely warning asking, is an EV a good idea?

Is your EV or ICE monitoring you?  Almost all modern-day vehicles (especially EVs) are now connected to the Internet with the ability to transmit your personal data back to the car manufacturer where it can then be viewed and sold to others.

Tesla is probably the worst one, due to the fact that some models have around nine cameras, and a recently published report admitted that Tesla employees were sharing photos and videos of Tesla owners, including “intimacy”, their kids, and their location.

There is now a new free online tool that drivers can use to see how much their car may be spying on them.  This free tool from Privacy4Cars provides some insight on whether your vehicle is collecting and sharing location and other types of data.  In the meantime EVs are a total disaster anyway IMHO, Carmageddon in fact! Why bother – haven’t diesels proved their worth for 100 years?  Be careful what you wish for!

An overwhelming majority of Britain’s cars have an internal combustion engine, 58% petrol, 36% diesel. Hybrids are 3% and EVs 1.3% and average 12 years old.  The Burning Platform by expert Eric Peters has some great observations. I drive a 2009 Fiesta diesel with 100k miles clocked and I expect it last me the rest of my life!

BREAKING NEWS: Business & Trade Secretary Kemi Badenoch flew to Switzerland this week for talks with her Swiss counterpart on a new post-Brexit ‘Trade Deal’, describing the two countries as “natural trading partners”. The minister is meeting Guy Parmelin in Berne to discuss a “modern” UK-Switzerland free trade agreement (FTA) that would boost trade between two “services superpowers”, she said.  Guardian has the false report

SO, who is Guy Parmelin?  He’s WEF and pushed the NWO at Davos annual meeting this year. The Davos 2022 WEF report included: “…Federal Councillors Simonetta Sommaruga and Guy Parmelin met with Robert Habeck, the German federal minister for economic affairs and climate protection.”

But having spent last year mulling over global warming (aka Climate Change), this year they were back at it again!   It looks like they haven’t solved much thus far, so don’t take any notice of MSM cover-propaganda – they have another agenda; a fly-on-the-wall would expose the real purpose of this trip, and I think readers can guess for themselves.

A MULTIPOLAR WORLD has already emerged even as the King takes his throne.  His former colony, America, must alter its destructive outdated policy of world domination as well as its destructive internalised ‘Wokeness’.  In a Multipolar world we revert to a ‘just-in-case’ 20th century local logistics model, which I remember of old, from the ‘just-in-time’ (JIT) global system having operated for around 50 years.

These JIT systems are now failing following the 2020 lockdowns.  The trend towards disintegration and de-globalisation comes with potentially serious political and economic consequences.  CHS had the story in 2022 when he projected:

“Globalization was deflationary, Deglobalization is inflationary. The [logic] of globalization is to lower costs as a means of maximizing profits and find markets for surplus domestic production. Both serve to export deflation as offshoring production keeps prices stable (and profits high) and dumping surplus production in high-cost developed-nations suppresses their domestic producers’ pricing power.”

Deglobalization is inflationary because re-shoring production increases costs. Securing production from the threats of geopolitical blackmail, civil/economic disorder in the producing nations or broken supply chains requires moving essential supply chains back to the security of the domestic economy.”  Read more HERE

De-globalisation takes place in 3 stages. Stage 1 is already complete. It involves a change in the narrative. Stage 2 is protectionism, for example the US Inflation Reduction Act, (“The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 is the most significant climate legislation in U.S. history, offering funding, programs, and incentives to accelerate the transition to a clean energy economy and will likely drive significant deployment of new clean electricity resources”) together with various measures now taken by all countries to subject trade and investment to geopolitical considerations. Stage 3 manifests by falls in trade and investment. This is ongoing now but the data will not appear for some time; however there are already subtle hints if you know where to look.

Even though relations between US and China have deteriorated sharply in recent years, a full decoupling is impossible at the moment, and if the West were to friend-shore and re-shore supply chains, it would take decades and trillions of dollars to accomplish. So the whole decoupling narrative in the near term is unrealistic. The only thing the West can do is reduce reliance on China and hope Beijing doesn’t invade Taiwan anytime soon.

This prescient article by Jeffrey D Sachs, professor at Columbia University, about the emerging Multipolar World raises a valid point [lightly edited]. (However I do fervently disagree about UN Agenda 2030 which I believe is economically destructive in all of its seventeen diktats.)

“US foreign policy is based on an inherent contradiction and fatal flaw. The aim of US foreign policy is a US-dominated world, in which the US, with its weaponised dollar, drives global trade and makes the rules, controls advanced technologies, maintains military supremacy, and dominates all actual and potential competitors.

Unless US foreign policy is changed to recognise the need for a multipolar world, it will lead to even more conflicts in the Global South with the potential to escalate to WW3. The inherent contradiction in US foreign policy is conflict with the UN Charter, which commits the US (and all other UN member states) to a global system based on UN institutions in which no single country dominates.

The fatal flaw in US policy revolves around their merely 4% of the world population, and lacks the economic, financial, military, and technological capacities, much less the ethical and legal claims, to dominate the other 96%!

At the end of WW2, the US was far ahead of the rest of the world in economic, technological and military power. Now this is no longer the case, as many countries have built their own economies and technological capacities especially China, which in its alliance with Russia, commands a significant measure of essential resources.

‘Frenchie’ Macron recently spoke the truth when he said that the EU, though an ally of the US, does not want to be a vassal of the US. He was widely attacked in the US and Europe for uttering this statement because many mediocre politicians in Europe depend on US political support to stay in power.  Of course the EU together with the British Commonwealth is already a vassal of USA and ‘Little Frenchie’ knows this being a globalist Bankster deep in the Big Club.

In 2015, former US Ambassador Robert Blackwill, a US foreign policy strategist, described the US grand strategy with exceptional clarity. He wrote that: “since its founding, the United States has consistently pursued a grand strategy focused on acquiring and maintaining pre-eminent power over various rivals, first on the North American continent, then in the Western hemisphere, and finally globally,” and argued that “preserving US primacy in the global system ought to remain the central objective of US grand strategy in the 21st century.”

In order to sustain US primacy, especially over China, Blackwill laid out a game plan that Biden is following. Among other measures, Blackwill called on the US to create “new preferential trading arrangements among US friends and allies to increase their mutual gains through instruments that consciously exclude China, with a technology-control regime to block China’s strategic capabilities; a build-up of ‘power-political capacities’ of US friends [I wonder how many are left] and allies on China’s periphery, and strengthened US military forces along the Asian Rim despite any Chinese opposition.”

Most US politicians and many in Britain, the EU, Japan, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand support the United States’ aggressive approach [because they are bought and paid for of course]. I do not. I view the US approach to China as contrary to the UN Charter and peace [what’s that?]… [Which of course it is, but I hope the Prof has another occupation lined up, because saying things like this can be detrimental to your health!]

China has the right to prosperity and national security, free from US provocations around its borders. China’s remarkable economic accomplishments since the late 1970s are wonderful for both China and the rest of the world.

During the long century 1839-1949, China was driven into extreme poverty in a period marked by European and Japanese invasions of China and Chinese civil wars. Britain (the Pugilist) invaded in 1839 to force China to buy Britain’s addictive opium. Other powers piled on during the following century. China has finally recovered from that disastrous period, and in the process, ended poverty for around one billion people! [My Chinese readers say they will never forgive and never forget – so look out 5-Eyes, time for payback.]

China’s new prosperity can be both peaceful and productive for the world. China’s successful technologies, ranging from vital cures for malaria to low-cost solar power and efficient 5G networks, can be a boon for the world in general.

China will only be a threat to the extent that the US makes China into an enemy.  US hostility to China, which mixes the arrogant and hubristic US aim of ‘Full Spectrum Dominance‘ with long-standing anti-Chinese racism dating back to the 19th century, creates a resolute enemy – and how!

However the dangers of US foreign policy extend beyond China. The US strategy to expand NATO into Ukraine and Georgia has surrounded Russia in the Black Sea and caused the Ukraine War.  Countless nations see the danger of this approach. Major nations of the Global South, from South Africa to Brazil and India, are creating the very geopolitical unity so feared by the ‘Empire of Lies’ and an emergent Multipolar World.” Source

All UN member states need to recommit to the ‘UN Charter’ and oppose US claims of global dominance.”  I see global fragmentation as the greatest of the foreseeable structural economic risks the world economy is facing today. Estimates of the cost vary but order-of-magnitude estimates range from $30Trillion – $50Trillion. I saw similar predicted percentages ahead of Brexit but in the case of Britain an electorate was prepared to pay the price anyway.

INFLATION WATCH: Is the stage set for a return of inflation?  Although there has been a steady decline this year, the markets’ believe that inflation is fixed, but I would challenge it. Inflation is accumulative and is mainly cost-push which I have pointed out several times because the BDI shipping rate charts explain that the real economies are slowing down.

Both the UK and EU have been hit hard by the scamdemic global supply chain disruption as well as by the effects in Ukraine; so what’s going on?  Here’s an MSM ‘Fact-Check’ (just for fun) so you can decide who is telling the truth!

Don’t believe everything you’re told – watch what they DO!  Did you know that MSM Financial Press headlines are often wrong?

SURVIVAL MONITOR:  Centralised power over food, money, education, news, information and “facts” is the path to total destruction of human civilisation.  It is debilitating government policies, public/private global corporation cartels and central banks which are deliberately destroying our world.  There is an exit from this evil – it’s called “Localisation.”  In this audio podcast, Health Ranger covers the subject in detail, calling it, ‘The Decentralisation Manifesto’. Listen here.  https://austrianpeter.substack.com/p/the-financial-jigsaw-part-2-localisation?s=w

THE NARRATIVE BATTLE: A narrative is a sort of story, so here is a story about South Africa today but I have substituted ‘SA’ for [UK] just for fun – Hat Tip Tim Cohen, at ‘The Daily Maverick’. See if you can spot the parallels?

“The high level of intellectual poverty in [UK’s] ruling class is undeniable.  Forgive the arrogance, but it is nearly impossible not to notice this sad state of affairs. The excellent work that people on the [UK] National Planning Commission (UK equivalent) have done in isolating problems and suggesting solutions have gone flying over the heads of the body politic.

And this is not just in the government, but in the higher ranks of the civil service and large chunks of the private sector too. There is a no deep sense of how economic growth is achieved. It’s entirely AWOL. In its place is a heightened sense of entitlement and self-righteousness and, yes, ignorance.

A friend mentioned a quote to me which has now stuck in my mind from the turn of the 20th century Viennese writer Karl Kraus: “The situation in Berlin is serious but not hopeless. The situation in Vienna is hopeless but not serious”.  I’m just trying to work out which applies most to [UK] – perhaps a bit of both?”

HaHaHaHa! Good one Peter, curfew at 1900 sharp after work. You’re killing me right now!

They start martial law theater and you let it be known, NO MORE WORK until they stop.

Getting the CBDC in the UK should cure your inflation problem, it will ruin your lives but it will at least nip the inflation in the bud.

Thanks for the letter AP.

There is a strategy that might make UBI work for some of us.

If you have wealth and are able to hide it through trusts, estates, offshore bank, you may be able to “own nothing” which will near certainly be the pre-requisite for getting UBI.

The 80% you speak of will sign over whatever is theirs today, though few ‘own’ much as it is on credit, so they can get free shit tomorrow. They won’t think through that whatever the deal is today, it will get much worse for them with time, as all government programs do.

Free shit and comforting lies, the pabulum of the mAsses.

Peter, be sure to check out the “Orb” they use to scan the people signing up for WorldCoin. This gets creepier by the day, we could just pull the covers over out heads and see if it goes away . 🙂

Are you aware the UK has 2500 excess deaths per week now? Ya’ll don’t need digital currency, ya’ll need rolling portable crematories. Jeez, if that is true you will be getting really thin by 2030.

I would be wary of anything published by expose news, it has the appearance of a disinformation operation, it’s modus operandi seems to be to take bits of truth they want to hide and conflate it with nut job conspiracy theory. Best place to hide the truth is in a bag full of lies.

The emerging multipolar world has already shown that the US has lost the fight for the world island which simply means it won’t be commanding the world. Nice try come back in a hundred years or so. And no, liberalism won’t be spreading its wings influencing non aligned governments anymore. Americanism and its supranational capitalist counterpart will be reduced and have to compete in real terms with compromise. The way of doing future business in a non dominated world.

States should ban Retail FedCoins like Florida has. States should re-legalize silver and gold for trade like it had been for 5,000 years before the Fed. We need state banks that are independent of the Rothschild banks (Fed) and can issue checking & savings accounts and loans. States need to be prepared to issue state/regional currencies backed by state lands etc. DeSantis has accomplished 15 good laws in the 2023 legislative session and the NAACP and Queer Organizations are boycotting Florida for such good things as ending black/gender/queer studies, and using woke pronouns in public schools; banning men from women’s bathrooms and sports; banning minors at shows where men dress up as women; guaranteeing Doctors and Nurses etc Freedom of Speech.
