I am following a guy who is currently hiking the 500 mile Camino de Santiago, something I want to do once I free up 30-40 consecutive days.
The lesson he learned yesterday from a fellow hiker is that whenever you come across something negative, like a foot blister or the lack of a bed for the night, instead of fighting the situation, just accept it and keep on walking.
Typical ‘mind over matter’ type….I get it…don’t let negativity take over..but do stop and roll out your ‘fart sack’ on top of your ground cloth and pad to sleep…and esp. take care of a foot blister with your first aid kit…didn’t bring those along?….end of your journey buster!!!
