Washington is broken.

Republicans got outsmarted by a President who can’t find his pants.

I’m voting NO on the debt ceiling debacle because playing the DC game isn’t worth selling out our kids and grandkids.

Boss my only quibble with your chart is that I saw the IRS BS only cuts 2,000 of the 87,00 which is only a 2.3% cut to that if I was informed correctly. Nothing about the border invasion, throws out all opportunities for leverage against the madness. Pretty much takes away any opportunity to do anything until after ’24. Who does that help?
ALSO American Action Network is running ads on TV claiming this deal is the greatest thing since sliced bread and provides one of the greatest political victories of all time to Republicans, McCarthy’s a genius and all the rest. They are trotting out the now doddering Newt Gingrich to say oh yes this is great.
If the Biggs motion doesn’t pass to give 30 more days, there will be a motion to Vacate the Chair giving the presstitutes the biggest f’ing circus in years.

Wonder how Trump’s tax cuts played out in all this BS? Rates for individuals return to pre 2017 rates (but not for the corporatocracy) after 2025 unless Congress acts, Congress acts, Congress acts…

But … but … they’ve already bought all the guns and ammo for the whole 87,000 …

Where, oh, where, will it go?

I think it’s important to keep in mind the debt limit bill itself does not spend money, but it does enable past deficit spending and any new deficit spending in the appropriations bills that Congress will pass in September. — Thomas Massie

It’s just a corporate money laundering operation to steal the next election and fund the “event” they have planned to cover it up. I expect by November we will start to see the seeding of whatever bullshit “catastrophic” event they plan to force on us to justify mail-in ballots and keep people indoors again.

Keeping people indoors against their will without legal justification is a deceptive form of kidnapping. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think it’s still legal to shoot your kidnappers in self-defense.

BS laws mean nothing by their rules, not ours. The real question is, were the VoPo’s to show up to arrest you on false charges of a “medical emergency” would there be a rifle pointing out every window in your neighborhood at them? They will eventually wander into such a place and leave their heads on sticks.

First, you’ve got to find them … then you can shoot them all you want … at your own risk.

Corporatocracy. I picked up on the word around 2008. RepublicOns in a certain political forum said there was no such word. The above darn sure sounds like corporatocracy to me.

I’ve come to the point where I except the fact that it really doesn’t matter. This isn’t really money anymore. It’s just spectactular numbers thrown around for our entertainment and enlightenment, talking points for the political class. It’s like numbering the grains of sand on a beach, a hand full more or hand full less won’t make the count any easier.

The debt must always increase over time due to the corrupted nature of the financial system. As such, the debt ceiling argument is nothing more than a charade. The specific reason that the debt must always increase, is that the currency in circulation is created by the creation of debt itself. Without an increase in debt, which creates more currency, there won’t be enough currency in circulation to pay the debt.

The only way out for an individual person, is to get out of debt and to use a different currency. Easier said than done.

On a brighter note than crackpot government leaders aka spendthrifts:
Bud Light volumes for the week ending May 13 fell 28.4%, compared with a 27.7% drop the week before, according to the trade publication Beer Business Daily.

Use to be a bumper sticker that read Keep on Truckin’. Needs to be one that reads Bud Light Sales Keep On Droppin’.
