It is my sincere desire to provide readers of this site with the best unbiased information available, and a forum where it can be discussed openly, as our Founders intended. Loved the Wilburys.

Still miss George, Roy and Tom. Glad Jeff is going strong though.

Wish we could trade Bob for any one of his deceased band mates.

The way some friends of mine laid one of those tracks down. Harder. Faster. Edgier.

The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down

“Virgil, quick , come see, there goes Robert E. Lee”

I’m surprised they have not banned the song!

There is a town in Texas named Robert Lee and guess who it is named after? Duh.

Per wiki:
The founders named the city after Robert E. Lee who is thought to have set up camp for a time near the current townsite on the Colorado River. Lee served in Texas from 1856 to 1861 as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Second Cavalry

I’m surprised they have not renamed the town! Public schools across Texas and even places like Midland have renamed their schools from xxxx Lee to xxxx Legacy. Legacy! Who dreamed that name up? Just flat ridiculous. I’ll have to research if public schools in other areas of the country that may have carried Grant in their names were changed by them.

Rant…

When Roy is singing his part in “The End of The Line”, they show his guitar in a rocking chair as a tribute to their departed partner. That part always gets me.
