I’ve confronted school board members before. They are old weak wheezing paper people that one could crush with a foot. They are low lifes , liberals, douchebags….their time will come.
I taught in a trade school for only 1 year and dealt with these school board people.
Most of them were lovers and this gave them some power that they just loved.

I say if no kids in the public school system remove that taxation on the property tax bill. Tell illegals no peso, no kid go to public school.
Just make all schools private schools and let parents pay and get a tax credit at the end of the year. Yep, we all still pay by subsidizing their tax credit, but at least we don’t pay up front for something we don’t use.
I think most of us were in school once upon a time. I can’t think of anyone more qualified to speak about a child’s experience in school than someone who has been there, whether they went on to have children of their own or not. I inquired about becoming a member here in my town, to my knowledge a relatively conservative town with few exceptions, yet for some reason no one ever got back to me, which I find suspicious.
As a Texan, I’d say that Fort Worth ISD president needs a serious ass-beating and those cops charged with assualt.

That’s a very good question! I saw this coming DECADES ago when I was in the military, living in Navy housing in Marin County, CA. We were given the opportunity to check out the new “readers” our 5th grade son was going to be working from during the coming school year. They were RIFE with references to outright witchcraft and really DARK illustrations. I objected, pointing out the reasons for the objection. The teacher said, “The district” picked out the readers, and that the parents had no say in the selection.” I called “The District” and …LOUDLY… voiced my opinion in the matter. I guess enough of the other parents did as well. The reader was changed before the school year began.
We can win against this, folks. We just need to be NUMEROUS and L-O-U-D!!!

Anon- I agree that it is better to charge them with a crime but TPTB owns the cops and the judges. Bringing suit on a personal level may be less of a uphill battle. To sue a school board, difficult. To sue a individual in the system a little easier.

I was in one of the Seattle Public Library branches and noticed a young boy watching hard-core porn on the computer there. I told him to stop it — he said he didn’t have to. I went to the librarian and told her about it and she said it was none of my business. I suggested that she contact the child’s parents — have them come to the library and see what their precious brat was watching — and have them sign a permission slip.
I was told to get the hell out … or I would be arrested.
Next thing you know, Seattle Public Library is putting all sorts of view-blocking devices on the computers so that the little brats could watch all the hard core porn that the taxpayers could afford.
