Liberal “Christians” can argue that the Bible doesn’t specifically forbid abortion. Not being a sola scriptura guy, that strikes me as ridiculous – like saying “dad didn’t specifically write down in his will that he wanted to be buried not cremated” when everyone remembers that he always said he wanted to be buried. The Christian church has always opposed abortion. The Didache (a Christian primer circa 70 AD) said “thou shall not slay a child by abortion, nor destroy the product of conception”.
Even if the Bible specifically proscribed abortion, “Christians” would ignore it – just like they’re ignoring Romans 1 about homosexuality. Obama called it “an obscure passage in Romans”. The start of chapter one isn’t usually considered obscure. The current antipope dances right up to the line of indisputable heresy on that – and arguably has crossed over it. God is not mocked.

Grunge. There’s that evil Tucker again talking about not killing children and the courage of Paul. He might have been on the wrong side on occasion before. But now he is on the right side, speaking out when it really counts.
The one MAJOR thing I notice when I see Tucker make such speeches is that he does not use any kind of teleprompter.
He does not just read to the audience.
Yes, he has notes as any good speaker should.
He talks to his audience and he draws the listener in better than most anyone today.
If abortion is illegal in your state now prepare to deal with people who will try to undermine it. This is what Missouri is dealing with. Ballot inititatives with wording so confusing that people will end up making it legal again.
The reason why KS ended up losing their attempt to make abortion illegal is because of the confusing wording in the amendment. Not because the majority are in favor of killing the unborn. The ACLU who is behind the Missourians for Constitutional Freedom are sending people from out of state to push these ballot initiatives. Kinda like what happened in the 1850’s in the battle to make KS a free state vs a slave state. The same people are working on state gun control.
