there was a run off election in Ukraine in 2004. Viktor Yanukovych the Russian backed candidate won in a very close contest. There was evidence that there was voter fraud the the Ukraine Supreme Court reviewed that evidence and threw out the election results. To think that Russia just sat back and let the honest votes be counted is not only naive but stupid.
What the Supreme Court did sounds pretty legal.
Plus there is a new intel report of Russian interference in American elections. If that is true, would it be logical that the Russians did the same in Ukraine?

Anonymous are irritating as there’s no learning the ‘twist of their bend’ so to speak. Anything from ‘I love big brother and you should too’ to ‘kill the kikes, every one’, all from anonymous which leaves one inclined to just pass them by rather than pay attention and possibly learn something about someone else’s point of view on a subject.
On the current topic I think most of western leadership and the thought of commenters here misses an important fundamental. It is my impression that few have read the Moslem holy book with respect, nor any of the hadiths, with respect. By respect I don’t mean approval, just an understanding that people of that book regard it the same way many Jews regard the Torah and surrounding traditions and Christians regard the New Testament revisions to the Jewish book along with their traditions.
Millions, even billions of words have been spilled on the subject and millions, even billions of gallons of innocent, and guilty, blood have been spilled on the subject of these books and traditions through history.
In this war of the books no one gets to ‘choose no side’, ask the Hindu in India, the Godless atheists in China, the insouciant, nominally Christian in Europe and the Americas, those pantheists and others throughout Indonesia, ask the Northern European pagans when the Christian soldiers swept in and pillaged, raped and killed until the locals gave in and took the book. Ask all of mesoamerica about the book, historically speaking.

I was born and raised in the northern European Christian tradition as transmitted to northern mesoamerica by those who emigrated from Europe these centuries ago. The results, in North America, until the wholesale abandonment of the principles of that book and tradition, speak for themselves for good and ill.
I choose Christianity, not the effete, deracinated version currently on offer by the ‘thought leaders’ of the creed, but the basics of the book as I understand it and as I understand the results it has produced locally, for the greatest number of people, and with due regard for the excesses inflicted by ignorant, malicious or duplicitous adherents through history.
