Yes, when I took psychology classes in college the Milgram Experiment was given a fair bit of time. We were young and naive then and didn’t question the “intellectual superiority” of our professors.
My employer was ripped off for $700,000 a few years back by University of Texas when we contracted them to perform original research and they gave us some kid’s thesis that had been completed a couple of years earlier and told us it was original research. A co-worker found the thesis on line and we got the lawyers involved but UT would not give one inch. They are con men.

It’s not cohencidence that the two most famous psychological obedience experiments, Milgram’s and Stanford Prison, were done in the 60s, and nothing since. Not one. All we get, over and over, decade after decade, are these two, basically worthless studies, when far more valuable research into conformity/obedience are needed to protect our freedoms? The reason is the (((Nuremberg Codes))) were used to shut down these kinds of highly informative studies claiming they harmed the studies participants (rich kids that all went on to successful lives). Doesn’t it bother you these ancient studies are all were allowed to research?
Too bad for the censors, then. We now have Mattias Desmet promoting “Mass Formation” psychology. We are learning how to overcome it–the minority with reason must continue to speak out.
Milgram misrepresented the results of his research. More than 50% of the people applying the “shocks” knew the whole thing was fake and they thought somehow they were being tested. They mentioned in forms they completed later that they knew they weren’t hurting anyone.
The 30% of people who refused were in the 40% of people who believed the shocks were real. So amongst those who believed they were hurting somebody around 75% of subjects refused.
This was known by Milgram. He deliberately left these facts from his results because he wanted to claim humans are robotic monsters. No doubt he was being funded by government agencies/NGOs who had something to gain from promoting this falsehood. All the clinical psychologists running these and similar studies in the 50’s and 60’s deliberately skewed their results to show the same thing, mainly because it suits the ruling class agenda for us to fear our fellow citizens and be protected from each other by laws and government.
