Does taking the Red Pill inevitably lead one down the path to the Black Pill? Or is there an escape? And if Society seems destined for a grim, totalitarian future, is it at least possible for courageous Individuals to evade that fate?
Since beginning my Sea Gypsy Philosopher blog ten years ago, my goal has been to decipher “How the world really works.” In the first essay of my “Quest” series, I provided a Summing Up of my decade of research. My prognosis was not good.
Because that article was posted on January 1st, it was surrounded in the Alt-Media world by many New Year’s forecasts. Lots of commentators provided predictions that were considerably more optimistic than mine. So, I decided to elaborate more fully upon my fears for the future.

When most people hear a term like Totalitarian World Government, they envision George Orwell’s 1984. They
imagine the entire world under the boot of a Planetary Big Brother. In that hellish society the surveillance would be inescapable, the censorship impregnable and the enforcement goons invincible.
But my belief is that our Malignant Overlords, as I love describing them, have a more sinister and subtle authoritarian strategy in mind. They will not attempt to create some single, enormous global nation state – some OmniTierra. There will be no Earth Emperor beaming down ultimatums to The Little People from an orbiting satellite.
Instead, they will still allow Nation States to exist, but they will almost completely undermine their power. This will be done through international NGOs or Non-Governmental Organizations. Essentially, they will castrate almost 200 countries and turn them into Eunuch States.

They beta-tested this clandestine approach with the fraudulent Covid Crisis. Utilizing their control of media around the globe, they were able to convince a huge portion of the world that there was a deadly pathogen on the loose. In actuality, it was no more dangerous than the yearly flu.
Then, with most of the world severely traumatized, they were able to persuade them to take an exceedingly dangerous mRNA injection. The messaging involved in this campaign was state-of-the-art brainwashing. Those of us who did not submit to it, despite our friends and families mocking us, truly earned our Pure Blood battle medals.
To demonstrate how next-level the vaccine programming was, there are still huge numbers of people who parrot the claim that the shots are “safe and effective.” Didn’t they see the thousands of young athletes in perfect shape keeling over and dying while playing their sports? When they said “No” I assumed that they were lying to me. Then I remembered that they get almost all of their information from their TVs. So they also are unaware of the fibrous blood clots never seen before the mRNA vaxx was released. Nor do they know that the excess death numbers are extremely high in vaxxed-up populations.
The Scamdemic proved that the Malignant Overlords did not actually need a World Government in order to enforce monolithic global edicts. Instead, the World Health Organization could force each of its member states to demand that all of their citizens must mask up, socially distance and stay inside. Almost overnight they created a world-wide prison without even having to erect fences or build guard towers.
The stunning success of their phony pandemic, appears to have convinced them that Bio-medical Tyranny is their best strategy for enslaving the world. That is why a fear campaign, highlighting the danger of Disease X, is starting to accelerate.
The Worst of the Worst, who are about to convene at the World Economic Forum, have even included it as a major discussion topic. Could that be the Ghost of Event 201 visiting Davos? And could Disease X be poised and ready to cancel the 2024 elections in the USA and in many other countries as well?
However, even if Disease X is not able to achieve launch velocity, the World Death Health Organization is toiling relentlessly to strangle the Freedom out of Humanity. They will attempt to do so either by amending the International Health Regulations and/or by imposing a Pandemic Treaty on the 194 member nations of the WHO.
This will give them Stalinesque powers over what have previously been personal medical decisions. They alone will decide what is a Pandemic or a Global Medical Emergency. That is already too much power for an unaccountable organization full of “experts,” who have failed their way to the top.
What makes it even worse is that these representatives of “The Science” will dictate what methods are used to treat the emergency. Why do I foresee a future filled with useless masks, lonely isolation, mandatory injections, vaccine passports and the advancing depopulation agenda?
Even more grotesquely, I see the oily head of Tedros smugly leering down upon this human carnage? And if that slimy image is not bad enough, I still have visions of some of the “health ministers” who ruthlessly ruled over us during Covid like wannabe Chairman Maos. Do you remember these paragons of health?

THE QUEST GROWS DARKER.
For me, the quest takes me to the precipice between this realm and whatever lies on the other side. I so desperately want to go over that precipice on my terms and come face to face with my captors. Everything transpiring in this realm is but a show designed to distract us and keep us chained to it. Our real problem is that we are trapped here in the first place.
But even the adoption of such a stance or view could well be a way of making you ” not present ” , in that if you literally think that absolutely everything is “fake and gay ” you have adopted a default bias view and as Ferris Beuler mighta said , ” things can happen pretty fast around here , you need to pay attention” .
Take the Rona for instance , or more precisely the Next “X disease ” , who’s to say they aren’t intentionally creating a boy who cried wolf sentiment out here in truth seeker land ? Whereby they really do unleash something lethal but that many who still have the capacity for independent thought refuse to take An antidote for cuz well last time was a scamdemic ( which it was ) . Wouldn’t that be a clever double deal designed to kill off as as many those who are on to them as possible . The ones who don’t trust the proven untrustworthy DERELICT governments . They are good at creating seeming ” damned if you do , damned if you don’t false binary choices . Sorry but its not enough to just assume everything is fake and gay all the time ( although quite a bit of it is )because that kind if thinking becomes as predictable as the thinking of the mindless follower contingent of our society . Plus , it ultimately leads down a dark rabbit hole of nihilistic powerlessness . Wow, talk about a sobering thought. Despite the excess deaths being higher than average in highly vaxxed countries particularly, to me it hasn’t risen to the level of a full-on depopulation event. I’ve thought all of this a lot. Why, if the last “vaccine” was supposed to be the depopulation event, would TPTB have wanted to first kill off the non-critical thinking/easily compliant part of the population who will follow and obey them no matter what? In order to control the world it seemed to me that the goal would have been to first get rid of the armed and resistant portion of the population.
But perhaps it is a very clever two-part plan with COVID only being the first stage.
By the numbers about 25-33% of western populations were able to see through the COVID scamdemic and resist the jabs. I don’t think killing off this percentage of the population who will likely refuse a “disease X vaccine” even if “disease X” is actually lethal gets the population low enough to suit them.
But maybe when you add in those who got fooled the first time around and say they won’t get fooled the next time around (its anecdotal I know, but I do know of lots of people in this camp), the total of the two will depopulate the world enough for them, leaving only the completely ignorant, compliant morons to do the grunt work.
I don’t know, but this thought was like a bucket of cold water to the face followed by a hard slap and then a 2×4 upside the head for me.
It probably really isn’t all that hard to release a disease/plague/poison that can kill large numbers of people quickly, so if this is what’s on-deck you can have all the guns, ammo, buckets of dehydrated food etc (not that I’m against having these things) but it won’t matter much in the long run.
Being prepared to meet the physical needs of ourselves and our families is important and wise. But it is much more important to make sure we’re right with the Lord. Better to be sure that your soul is prepared to go to Heaven than to have enough stuff to keep the body alive, which is going to die one way or the other sooner or later anyway. As bad as this mess is here on earth an eternity in Hell is unimaginably worse.
SC, you articulated thoughts I have been having for a while now. How I need to stop thinking everything is fake and gay and take each thing that happens and think it through before rushing to judgement. Because TPTB have been pushing lies and psyops for so long it’s hard to not automatically think the next thing is also a lie and a psyop.
Whenever thoughts of our current situation cause me trouble, I read this-

I too love that poem and its hopeful message that all tyrannies fall. But that is from the perspective of hundreds of years after Ozy. During his reign, things for the ordinary folk were probably pretty grim.
Here are the three philosophical balls that I try to keep in the air:
1) None of us can have much of an impact, so it is best to focus on joy and meaning in the everyday lives of our selves and our loved ones.
2) It is vital and noble to speak out despite the slim chance of improving things.
3) Be prepared with one’s Tribe in case it really goes sideways.
I suspect you can relate to all three of those.

Yeah, you and I are on the same page even if we live on different surfaces. I do think we have an impact though, the things we learn that we teach someone else, simple skills, reliable recipes, those kinds of things.
Yesterday my oldest son helped me install some hardwood flooring for a neighbor. I noticed as he was loading the materials into the room where we were working that he would flip the lengths so the tongue was facing the right way for installation without me having to tell him. He staggered the boards for me, too. I must have shown him this at some point, but I can’t remember when, yet he made the job fly by because he understood exactly how to lay in the materials the way I needed them. It was such a pleasure to work beside him. When I got home my daughter and I decided to make some homemade ravioli. She made the pasta dough, exactly the way I’d shown her, while I trimmed and cleaned mushrooms. We stood together in the kitchen just talking about this and that, making this beautiful yet simple meal for my wife who was out helping a friend of hers arrange flowers for a wedding.
As history goes it could hardly have been more insignificant a day, but for me it was profoundly satisfying, the way we worked alongside one another, almost blissful with the scent of herbs and Marsala, the kitchen warm while the snow fell outside.
I think these things are what really matters over the long spread of time, not the political or the ideological, just the business of living.
Long after this is over and something else follows, people will still build their homes and prepare their meals in each other’s company while the seasons pass, one after another.

Here was my Thursday: Started the day by tuning into our local VHF radio Net for the sailors here. It’s like an old time Coffee Clatch. Worked on the essay for a couple of hours. Juggling practice midday for about 90 minutes. Archery in the afternoon with one of my Sea Gypsy Tribe captains. Over to the sailors’ bar for some post-archery beer and rum. We have good local brands of each. That night I took a boat to town and cheered on his wife who was singing with one of our local bands.
Time well spent which leads to lives well spent. I think one of my good fortunes is that I am blessed with the ability to “fight the unbeatable foe” and still have a wondrous daily life.
Such a classic song that I played at sea for about 20 years. One cassette lasted that long!!! When I used to juggle at the 49er games the entertainment director often played “Ride with the Wind” as the music when I was out at mid-field doing my show.

I took our kids skiing yesterday. We always go to this really small hill in a small town far away from everything. I pay $15 cash and we get a sticker to put on our jackets as the lift pass. No “Epic pass”, turnstiles, RCIF chips on a plastic lift card or anything. Nothing but fresh air, kids laughing, sunshine and the friendly greeting of the lift guy that we know by name from the last 3 years.
As I was skiing down I reminisced how this place kept us sane during the winter of 2020/21. They had the smallest sign off to the side of the door, “masks required”.
But nobody complied. None of the skiers, none of the staff, nobody. It was like a secret unspoken covenant, as if to say “we do not comply here, we come here to enjoy ourselves and to get away from the insanity”.
It was like an island in the sea of budding tyranny, and it proved that government cannot possibly have its tentacles into the most far flung corners of small town America. They just don’t have the manpower to put a uniformed officer in every ski lodge to monitor compliance.
That alone is reason enough for me to support that place with my dollars.

Great little vignette, SL. Thanks for sharing. Our sailing community circumvented the lunacy in myriad ways. Arriving boats were quarantined so we would take them food and drink and board games. We worked especially hard to help any boats coming in with kids.
I never once wore a mask outdoors. Had to in order to shop indoors, and sometimes I was the only person on the street not wearing one. For some reason the cops never hassled me. One time two young ones veered across the street towards me, but instead of timidly putting on a mask I stopped and stared right at them. The headed back to the other side of the street.

My heart aches for people like you who do not understand truth and miss out on the joy and peace that only comes from a relationship with God. Nothing going on at any level of government is to insure America remains a nation state. The open border alone should be enough evidence of this. I am going to guess that horrible “pandemic” of extreme “side effects” of the last three years of pokemon are going to be visually and audibly disturbing.

Ray, I enjoy your work, and write about many of the same themes from outside the bubble in the Western Pacific. My conclusion years ago was that only countries with poor and inept governments would be able to offer what we think of as ‘freedom’ in the future. Not that life would be carefree or even safe, but that at least the surveillance state would be kept to a minimum. At least we would have a fighting chance, or be able to afford some modicum of security in a remote setting somewhere. Doug Casey calls it “the least government you can stand.”
The black pill for me was the realization that both ‘white hats’ and ‘black hats’ essentially want the same thing; keeping us in the dark, fed a stream of fictional narratives to support their causes, and largely powerless to make real changes. I have come to see this as the basic reality of a fallen world that is immersed in a spiritual battle, making the only real solutions spiritual ones. My faith has always been in the Lord, but the Quest you speak of has really helped to scrape away the dross. Can’t speak for others, but I’m glad for it.
