The 4th Turning {lots of wild cards!}

Fear Porn: The 4th Turning

Lots of wild cards in the doom talk about the inevitable “4th Turning” that’s been discussed here.

While fantastic writers (and researchers) like Jim have put forth extremely compelling cases that the 4th Turning is GUARANTEED – Can you really “bank on it?” (like that phrase has lost it’s meaning since banks are now as fragile as a porcelain egg).

Even reliable and experienced folks like Hardscrabble Farmer seem to indicate that we’re all in for a rough time ahead. Honestly, that makes me uneasy as well – because I trust the words of such well-rounded individuals.

But the eternal optimist in me sees a ray of light somewhere in the distance… I do.

Previous 4th Turnings did not have NEARLY the technology OR awareness that today’s society has.

How do you think those “new ingredients” play into the old model of 4th Turnings?

The “Fake News” Battle – Which News Is Real, And Which Is Fake?

Guest Post by Duane Norman

fake-news

There has been a back-and-forth going on for the past several days between traditional mainstream media and web-based news sites, with both sides accusing the other of being arbiters of “fake” news.  It has gone far enough to elicit comment from Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, pledging to purge fake news from Facebook, and Twitter has recently begun a purge of “alt-right” accounts in its attempt to crack down on “hate speech”.  Though the back-and-forth has been going on for quite some time now, in the wake of Trump’s victory, the debate has made its way to the front pages of the news cycle in both the MSM and web-based media.  It is appropriate to provide some back story as to who has said what, before any analysis on which news sources to trust.

Thanks for Nothing, and Everything

by Uncola

During this season of Thanksgiving, I would like to express my overwhelming gratitude.  Thank you, President Obama. Thank you for not upholding your oath to the U.S. Constitution to protect America’s southern border.  Thank you for illegally granting amnesty via executive action and avoiding the unnecessary hassles of passing the legislation through Congress.  And thank you for your efforts in turning the United States of America into a third-world refugee camp.

Thank you, Obama, for your broad support of Islam and for labeling American citizens as bitter, xenophobic racists clinging to their guns and religion. I would also like to express my gratitude to you, your enablers, and all of the sycophantically corrupt, establishment politicians for near doubling the national debt of the United States these last eight years.

A Tale of Two Cities

by Uncola

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way.  In short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.”

Charles Dickens was an enormously successful mid-nineteenth century author who came to be recognized as a very astute social critic.  Today he is considered a literary genius whose fictional characters have resonated within the minds of both children and adults alike for over 160 years.  Not only were Dicken’s books immensely popular during his lifetime, but many of his works remain in print today and are still widely read.

Best of Times. Worst of Times.

by Uncola

On the morning of Tuesday, November 8th, 2016 I was making breakfast for my wife and daughter while mentally preparing myself for the inevitability of a Hillary Clinton presidency.  While flipping scrambled eggs in the pan, I found myself taking inventory and strategizing the future.  No matter what happened, I would not make stupid mistakes like Rick Grimes in the Walking Dead.  If the walls of my compound are breached like the walls of the prison at the end of Season Four, my family will have a predetermined rally point instead wandering aimlessly like Rick’s group at the beginning of Season Five.  We will have bug out bags and supply caches and I won’t be stupid.

When the stormtroopers come to my door in an open assault on my Second Amendment right to bear arms, I may not be there.  But what if they find my friends and family in order to blackmail my cooperation?  I can’t let that happen.  If I am caught, and they torture me, I will be like Mel Gibson in Braveheart and scream “Freedom” as they yank out my intestines.  So help me God, I will never betray my fellows.  Do I need more precious metals?  Do I have enough ammo?  Better water filtration? Water is a priority.  Wait.  What about night vision?  And before the bombs fall, where can I get Geiger counters and protective gear in the event of radioactive fallout?  That’s paranoid!  Hell no!  It could happen.  Let go of your normalcy bias.  The times, they are a changin’.

CLINTON DIRECTED HER MAID TO PRINT OUT CLASSIFIED MATERIALS

clintonsantos

Submitted via New York Post

By: Paul Sperry

As secretary of state, Hillary Clinton routinely asked her maid to print out sensitive government e-mails and documents — including ones containing classified information — from her house in Washington, DC, e-mails and FBI memos show. But the housekeeper lacked the security clearance to handle such material.

In fact, Marina Santos was called on so frequently to receive e-mails that she may hold the secrets to E-mailgate — if only the FBI and Congress would subpoena her and the equipment she used.

John Podesta’s Email “Hack” Revealed To Be A Phishing Scam And The Reality Of Weak Cybersecurity

By Stephanie Shepard

Let me start off by clarifying a simple concept to anybody who doesn’t understand internet security or black hat hacking; a phishing scam IS NOT A HACK!

A hack is when somebody exploits the weaknesses and vulnerabilities of a internet security system. This can be the security system of a website, a company, an organization etc. A phishing scam is when somebody exploits the weaknesses and vulnerabilities of a person’s mind.

Most hacks are actually phishing scams in disguise. We now live in a world with high tech con artists and they’re finding ways to perfect old confident schemes. As the saying goes, “The more things change, the more they stay the same”.

Hunger for the Blackjack Agenda

by Uncola

The French philosopher Voltaire once said: “Each player must accept the cards life deals him or her: but once they are in hand, he or she alone must decide how to play the cards in order to win the game.” The American author and newspaperman, Finley Peter Dunne, once advised: “Trust everybody, but cut the cards.” The country singer, Kenny Rogers said we should: “Know when to hold them and know when to fold them; and the musical pop princess, Lady Gaga, sings of how: “He can’t read my poker face”.

This is what comes to mind when reading about the Two Faces of Hillary Clinton in the New York Times. I must admit, when reading articles like this one, I am forced to pinch myself just to make sure I am still living in the here and now instead of having just awakened like Rip Van Winkle in a dismally Dantean, dystopian world of the future. In response to recent Wikileaks revelations, the article explains why it is necessary for the Harpy to have one face in public and another in her private political dealings. In this fine example of Orwellian Newspeak, the author of the piece, Jonathan Rauch, senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, writes in his best poker face in order to deplorably deal out this despicable diamond:

“In politics, hypocrisy and doublespeak are tools.”

Fukushima Radiation

Here’s an article to cheer up all our West Coast readers (as well as those around the rest of the world).  As we all know Fuck-You-Shima has vanished from the media – a total news black-out – with no up-dates, no information on what’s being done to clean it up (HA!) or, in general, anything about it.  N-O-T-H-I-N-G.!

Well here’s an article that tells it all including how one might begin to be wary of eating anything from the Pacific Ocean and – in thinking ahead – what happens outside the Pacific Ocean if they can’t fix the continuing 300 tons of radioactive waste flowing into the Pacific Ocean daily!!

Friends, we are in much deeper trouble over Fukushima than the media and Governments are letting us know (so we won’t be “frightened).  Heavens forbid that the general public of the World begin to get “frightened” over a nuclear accident that could eventually make half the world and its’ largest sea unusable, dangerous, uninhabitable, unable to produce food and we loose the nature resources that the entire Pacific Basin provides the entire bloody World.

It’s time to panic, folks.  Not tomorrow – but today.

BY THE SKIN OF THEIR TEETH!

I’ve probably seen and/or heard over 500 C-5 Galaxy cargo planes take off and I never heard one moan this hard a quarter of the way down the runway! I’ll bet multiple orifices were puckering and unpuckering rapidly on that take off roll! I wonder if the runway disappeared from the pilots view before he got airborne?  This one is leaving Llopango Airport, El Salvador.

The Choice, Part Two: The Biggest Challenge

staticworld.net

Daunting as the business challenges 4Ry faces may be, they are dwarfed by the legal, political, and intellectual assault on logic, invention, and honest enterprise.

This is part two of a three-part series. For part one, click here (SLL) or here (TBP).

I and members of my family are minority investors in Dr. Kelly’s majority-owned company, fouRy LLC, or 4Ry. I have performed and will continue to perform, various services for 4Ry, for which I may be compensated. The opinions and analyses are mine alone. This blog post is neither a solicitation of investment nor an offer to sell securities. 4Ry is a Delaware Limited Liability Corporation and its trademark application is pending.

Dr. Kelly wisely realized he needed help on the business development side. David Bird has a BS and MS in mechanical engineering and control systems from UCLA and an MBA from Notre Dame. He’s a hybrid between business and science who both understands the technology and has the business experience necessary for its commercial implementation. He developed a network of contacts that got Kelly’s technology in front of people with technical expertise and clout within companies, academia, and the government.

AN EXCEEDINGLY RARE SIGHT

Many here know that I’m an amateur astronomer. I spend quite a bit time looking up, into nighttime skies as well as daytime skies. You never know what you might see. Most of the time I see stars, nebulae, galaxies, planets and moons but during the daytime, equally amazing sights can be seen. There’s nothing quite like the grandeur of wide open skies to bring perspective to our earthly problems.

The image above is one of a number of phenomena that can be seen above the clouds after dark. For decades, pilots and astronauts reported seeing all kinds of strange things while flying above clouds or looking down from space. Apollo astronauts even reported “seeing” brilliant flashes of light while sleeping. Very few photographs of such phenomena existed until fairly recently. Twenty four/seven video taken from the orbiting International Space Station has confirmed many of these phenomena are real.

ANOTHER EBT FAILURE?

Definitely a reference to the chick trashing the store the other day.  In fact, it is likely related.  It’s odd that if this is in fact the case that it is not getting more MSM coverage….

Anyway, here is the referenced article:

EBT Card Outage?: It Is 8 Days Into June And Many Americans Are STILL Waiting For Food Stamp Money

Supermarket Bananas - Public DomainWidespread reports continue to pour in from all over the nation of “glitches” with the food stamp system.  It is eight days into the month and large numbers of people still have not received their benefits, and in other instances it is being reported that EBT cards are simply not working correctly.  So what in the world is going on here?  Ondowndetector.com there are scores of reports of problems with the EBT system from people all over the nation.  Could this simply be another example of government incompetence, or is something else at work here?
