ANOTHER EBT FAILURE?

Definitely a reference to the chick trashing the store the other day.  In fact, it is likely related.  It’s odd that if this is in fact the case that it is not getting more MSM coverage….

Anyway, here is the referenced article:

EBT Card Outage?: It Is 8 Days Into June And Many Americans Are STILL Waiting For Food Stamp Money

Supermarket Bananas - Public DomainWidespread reports continue to pour in from all over the nation of “glitches” with the food stamp system.  It is eight days into the month and large numbers of people still have not received their benefits, and in other instances it is being reported that EBT cards are simply not working correctly.  So what in the world is going on here?  Ondowndetector.com there are scores of reports of problems with the EBT system from people all over the nation.  Could this simply be another example of government incompetence, or is something else at work here?

SOCIAL JUSTICE WARRIOR – A COMIC SERIES?

Hey TBPers, long time no talk.  Been busy with work and such.  Anyway Admin, remember a looong time ago when I told you that I couldn’t get behind the Occupy movement because I new some of the folks there that were actually getting published as voices of the movement by NATIONAL publications like USA Today?  Well between the fact that these people STILL don’t have jobs in tandem with watching the media so desperate to push this regressive narrative these days and knowing some uber libs has inspired me.  I started a little comic strip of my own lampooning their crazy bullshit using the bitstrips site.  I also hereby state that I will publish them only on TBP and I guess I’ll do the shit every Tuesday or something.  So here, enjoy the first edition folks!  Also I am totally open to take requests from you guys on various subjects….

BTW, DRLPRANCE is my alias on these.  Enjoy!

LIBERTARIAN FRIEND RUNNING FOR HAWAII STATE SENATE

What’s up TBPers?  Just giving a shameless plug for my friend Raymond Banda who is running for the Hawaii State Senate District 18.  He was in my squad in 2nd Ranger Battalion back in the early 2000’s.  This is directly from his page:

“Restoring Power to The People”

The role of any national, or local, government is to protect the safety and well-being of its citizens and the sovereignty of the its borders.  In addition to this it is to act in accordance to the will of the people.  This is why I am running for Hawai’i State Senate, District 18.  I wish to change our politicians back to the public servants they were originally meant to be.  For far too long our elected officials have been deciding what is “best” for the people they are elected to represent.  With your vote I will make myself the servant of the Hawai’i residents in District 18, and not allow my own personal opinions to dictate how I act.  I hope that I can speak to every resident within our district personally, and have you all tell me what areas within our district, and state concern you the most.  This will be my platform.  This will be my goal.  This will be how I help restore power to the people.

Since he doesn’t get the oligarch parties and their cronies backing him financially, any bit of promotion (or small donation) helps.  Thanks!

State Passes Law to Legalize Shooting Police

I suppose this is somewhat timely:

Finally some rational legislation is passed concerning ‘public servants’ unlawfully entering another person’s property.

All too often, we see examples of cops breaking into the wrong house and shooting the family dog, or worse, killing a member of the family.

Well, Indiana has taken action to “recognize the unique character of a citizen’s home and to ensure that a citizen feels secure in his or her own home against unlawful intrusion by another individual or a public servant.”

This special amendment is no revolutionary new thought, only common sense.

Self-defense is a natural right; when laws are in place that protect incompetent police by removing one’s ability to protect one’s self, simply because the aggressor has a badge and a uniform, this is a human rights violation. Indiana is leading the way by recognizing this right and creating legislation to protect it.

Of course cops have already begun to fear monger the passage of this bill, “If I pull over a car and I walk up to it and the guy shoots me, he’s going to say, ‘Well, he was trying to illegally enter my property,’ ” said Joseph Hubbard, 40, president of Jeffersonville Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 100. “Somebody is going get away with killing a cop because of this law.”

Instead of looking at the beneficial aspect of this law, which creates the incentive for police to act responsibly and just, Hubbard takes the ‘higher than thou’ attitude and is simply worried about himself.

How about questioning the immoral laws that you are enforcing in the first place? Or how about sympathizing with the innocent people whose pets and family members have been slain, due to police negligence?

Who’s to say that a cop pulling you over to extort money from you for the victimless crime of not wearing a seatbelt, isn’t an unlawful act? Or how about breaking down your door in the middle of the night to kidnap you and throw you in a cage for possessing a plant?

Hopefully this legislation will lead to these arbitrary traffic and drug enforcement “laws” in place solely for revenue collection (aka theft), being brought into question.

The law states:

(i) A person is justified in using reasonable force against a public servant if the person reasonably believes the force is necessary to:
(1) protect the person or a third person from what the person reasonably believes to be the imminent use of unlawful force;
(2) prevent or terminate the public servant’s unlawful entry of or attack on the person’s dwelling, curtilage, or occupied motor vehicle; or
(3) prevent or terminate the public servant’s unlawful trespass on or criminal interference with property lawfully in the person’s possession, lawfully in possession of a member of the person’s immediate family, or belonging to a person whose property the person has authority to protect.

It is through legislation such as this, which will empower people again and aid in bringing down these tyrants from their pedestals, who are given free rein to murder and pillage without consequence.

NATIONAL PROPAGANDA REGURGITATION

Goddamn NPR.  I hate it passionately but I can’t help myself from listening to it to and from work.  Yes, FOX News and MSNBC are both bullhorns for walking their respective lines and trumpeting emotionally divisive subjects to keep the plebes screaming epithets at each other.  However I find NPR far more insidious in delivering the brainwashing, psyops government lines, while attempting to appeal to the more educated, and presumably intelligent crowd.

I get fired up to and from home listening to their subtle wordplay, slipping in a reference to long debunked mini-false flags like they were never debunked, or never backed with conclusive evidence to back up the accusation.  Assad’s supposed chemical attacks, Yanukovych’s supposed use of deadly force on both the Maidan protesters and his own police force via sniper fire, the Odessa massacre, etc.  Now it’s wave after wave of Putin this, Russia that, ad nauseum.  What makes it worse is the fact that they have shows like “On Point”:

They are supposed to have a round table of experts discussing various aspects and views of a story… unless that story does not jive with our government’s pre-constructed narrative (i.e. the Malaysia Airlines flight or virtually ANYTHING related to Israel).

I’m really not sure what to make of the effectiveness of this constant flow of propaganda pushing so hard to get us to war with Russia.  I work crazy long hours and don’t get out much, but maybe some of you folks out there in TBP land can fill me in on general public sentiment.  Has anyone seen polls?

By the way, they backtracked in-line with the article that Admin put up this morning with all of the squishy language, but there are still pundits who stick their head in the door and mention “Russia’s responsibility” here and there.  The only time they mention Kiev’s possible involvement (which is hardly ever) is by referring to Russia’s “state controlled media” selling a “preposterous story” to the Russian people, who happen to be believing it.  Pretty fucking ironic.  I have yet to hear an expert mete out this very plausible scenario on any round table discussions.

Unpacking The Geo-Politics Of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH 17
With Guest Host John Harwood.

The United States and Russia after the downed plane. We’ll unpack the politics and latest news. Plus: the latest from Gaza.

Toys and flowers are placed on the charred fuselage at the crash site of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 near the village of Hrabove, eastern Ukraine, Sunday, July 20, 2014. (AP)

The shoot-down of a civilian airline over Ukraine, killing nearly 300 people, shocked the conscience of the world. But has it transformed the crisis in Ukraine itself — where Russia has spent months defying the international community? The evidence tying Russia to the crime is mounting. Vladimir Putin suddenly seems off balance, on the defensive. But can Europe and the United States make him back off? Will they? This hour On Point: a potential tipping point in the fight for control of Ukraine — plus we check the latest news from Gaza.

Lawmaker Introduces Bill Requiring Veterans To Warn Neighbors Of Their Combat Service

By  | April 15, 201412 Comments

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Following a second mass shooting at Ford Hood, at least one lawmaker thinks a bill currently under consideration will ensure the safety of American communities by requiring the estimated 2.6 million unstable veterans who served in Iraq or Afghanistan to tell their neighbors of their combat service.

The Fortify & Unite Communities to Keep Veterans’ External Threats Secure Act (H.R. 1874) which was introduced on Tuesday, would require military veterans to register with the Department of Homeland Security and periodically “check-in” with a case officer, in addition to going door-to-door in their neighborhood to notify people nearby that they are a powder keg of post traumatic stress, alcoholism, murder, and hate just waiting to blow.

“We really feel that we can drastically minimize the damage to some communities, especially those in troubled ‘PTSD hotspots‘ that have become a haven for these psychopathic troops,” said Rep. Jim Moran (D-Va.), who sponsored the legislation. “We are so thankful for their service, and now they can continue to serve on veterans probation.”

For the safety of communities, the FCC would also direct cable providers to block access to violent war content popular among veterans, to include The Military Channel and Lifetime. Further, a preliminary letter details instructions sent to providers to censor movies such as “Black Hawk Down” and “Saving Private Ryan” so as “not to place a veteran into a potentially violent mental state and protect the community by not ‘poking the bear.’”

The bill is up for vote in the House Veterans Affairs Committee next Thursday where watchers say it’s likely to pass before going to the floor for a full vote. However, there’s been some controversy surrounding one part of the bill barring veterans from living within 1,000 feet of bars, gun ranges, or liquor stores, as critics claim this would be unfair to local businesses.

Lawmakers are still debating a requirement that veterans need approval before moving to a new community they would eventually terrorize. An amendment requiring case officers to place crazed veterans in a locked safe room for the 24 hours of Independence Day and New Years Eve had already passed.
