Hans-Hermann Hoppe: “Put Your Hope In Radical Decentralization”

Via The Mises Institute,

[An interview with Hans-Herman Hoppe in the Polish weekly Najwy?szy Czas!]

What is your assessment of contemporary Western Europe, and in particular the EU?

All major political parties in Western Europe, regardless of their different names and party programs, are nowadays committed to the same fundamental idea of democratic socialism. They use democratic elections to legitimize the taxing of productive people for the benefit of unproductive people. They tax people, who have earned their income and accumulated their wealth by producing goods or services purchased voluntarily by consumers (and of course especially the “rich” among those), and they then re-distribute the confiscated loot to themselves, i.e., the democratic State that they control or hope to control, and their various political friends, supporters, and potential voters.

They do not call this policy by its right name: punishing the productive and rewarding the unproductive, of course. That doesn’t sound particularly attractive. Instead, they tap into the always popular sentiment of envy and claim to tax the few “rich” to support the many “poor.” In truth, however, with their policy they make more and more productive people poor and a steadily increasing number of unproductive people rich.

But what about the EU?

There Will Be No Second American Revolution: The Futility of an Armed Revolt

Guest Post by John W. Whitehead

“A standing military force, with an overgrown Executive will not long be safe companions to liberty.”—James Madison

America is a ticking time bomb.

All that remains to be seen is who—or what—will set fire to the fuse.

We are poised at what seems to be the pinnacle of a manufactured breakdown, with police shooting unarmed citizens, snipers shooting police, global and domestic violence rising, and a political showdown between two presidential candidates equally matched in unpopularity.

The preparations for the Republican and Democratic national conventions taking place in Cleveland and Philadelphia provide a foretaste of how the government plans to deal with any individual or group that steps out of line: they will be censored, silenced, spied on, caged, intimidated, interrogated, investigated, recorded, tracked, labeled, held at gunpoint, detained, restrained, arrested, tried and found guilty.

Make no mistake, the government is ready for a civil uprising.

Indeed, the government has been preparing for this moment for years.

Is the Party Over for Bushism?

Guest Post by Patrick J. Buchanan

Is the Party Over for Bushism?

Neither George W. Bush, the Republican Party nominee in 2000 and 2004, nor Jeb, the dethroned Prince of Wales, will be in Cleveland. Nor will John McCain or Mitt Romney, the last two nominees.

These former leaders would like it thought that high principle keeps them away from a GOP convention that would nominate Donald Trump. Petulance, however, must surely play a part. Bush Republicans feel unappreciated, and understandably so.

For Trump’s nomination represents not only a rejection of their legacy but a repudiation of much of post-Cold War party dogma.

America crossed a historic divide and entered a new era. Even should Trump lose, there is likely no going back.

Trump has attacked NAFTA, MFN for China and the South Korea trade deal as badly negotiated. But the problem lies not just in the treaties but in the economic philosophy upon which they were based.

Free-trade globalism was a crucial component of the New World Order, whose creation George H. W. Bush called the new great goal of U.S. foreign policy at the United Nations in October of 1991.

Republican Convention Suppository … err, Repository … of Comments

Don’t give me any bullshit about “I’m not watching!”.  Pure. Bullshit.

So, here’s an open thread about your thoughts ……….

RNC protest

Quick Thoughts to open ….

  1.  I hope Melania comes out in a swim suit.
  2. The Never Trump people are traitors and hypocrites.  They are crying that their voices aren’t being heard.  WTF???  50 states and MILLIONS of people made their voices heard!!!  And these 300 or so cocksuckers want to say “Fuck You, Amerika, WE will choose who WE want!”  Traitors. They should be shot.
  3. CuNNt all day long has been focusing on negative reporting.  But, for the Democratic Convention you can bet your last dollar they will be slurping on Hillcunt’s vajayjay.
  4. I hope ‘Murika’s crazy wing of the Kneegrow population behaves itself. So far, so good. But, I ain’t holding my breath.

That’s all, for now.

28 pages: Where are the Trufers?

9-11 Truthers said the 28 pages would PROVE lots of shit!

Government not releasing it PROVES a conspiracy!!

Well, this is fucking amazing.  Here are the 28 pages;

http://intelligence.house.gov/sites/intelligence.house.gov/files/documents/declasspart4.pdf

I haven’t read it yet. But, I will.  In addition to finding damning evidence that the gooberment did it, I am hoping for some new revelation on magic thermite, a primer on FREE FALL SPEED!! and, of course, explanations about Building 7 … which was totally undamaged, except for a couple pictures that fell in the 13th floor law office of Dewy, Fuchem, & Howe.

I would EXPECT you 9-11 Truthers to also read these 28 pages.  And report your findings.  Seriously.  You’ve murdered thousands of my brain cells as I tried to comprehend your twisted logic.  Now that after 15 years you have the secret 28 pages — shouldn’t you report on it?

Prove me wrong!!

Sec Army to Worldwide Army Commands: “Balance Lactation Support and Readiness”

Guest Post by Ray Starmann

ameda-purely-yours-17070_1

Adolf Hitler once said, “Give me five years and you won’t recognize Germany anymore.”

Well, we’ve given Barack Hussein Obama seven years and you can’t recognize the US Army anymore.

The Obama Administration is literally carpet bombing the military on a daily basis with directives, memos, policies and doctrine that if they weren’t actually happening would be considered to be something out of a Kafkaesque, Gloria Steinem nightmare.

Today, I examined a Memorandum for Record, dated September 20, 2015 and signed by the former Secretary of the Army, John McHugh.

You remember Secretary McHugh, he’s the guy who dodged and delayed Congressman Steve Russell after Russell requested the Ranger School records of the first two female “graduates”, Captain Griest and First Lieutenant Haver. I believe McHugh led the cover up of what actually happened down at Fort Benning, a conspiracy that continues to this day.

Stay tuned USDW readers…

McHugh’s Memorandum for Record is titled, Army Directive 2015-37(Breastfeeding and Lactation Support Policy)

Here are some highlights from the memo:

“Commanders and soldiers will balance lactation support and readiness.”

Corrupt Politicians and Corrupted Money Go Hand in Hand

Via Money Metals Exchange

“Money is the barometer of a society’s virtue. When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion – when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing – when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors – when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you – when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice – you may know that your society is doomed.”

~Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged, Francisco’s Money Speech

Ayn Rand wrote Atlas Shrugged about 60 years ago. It seems like she’s describing today’s politics.

The Justice Department announced last week they won’t be prosecuting “crooked” Hillary Clinton. Rand never met Hillary or her husband Bill. But she clearly knew what it means for society when scoundrels wind up in charge.

Growing social unrest, politics, and money are all interconnected. We raised this subject a little over a year ago following the riots in Baltimore. But, sadly, except for the advocates of sound money and one very prescient novel written 6 decades ago, it is almost always overlooked.

Stucky QOTD: Healing

Carol Costello’s chisely face looks like the female DNAs are about to lose a civil war battle to their male counterparts. Behind that fake smile and sweet disposition lies one of the most devious, deceitful, and deceptive personalities on teevee.

So, I’m making strawberry and blueberry blintzes this morning.  It takes about 45 minutes so, I have the boob tube on, listening to horseshit and bullshit … cuz cooking is boring.

So, this half-woman/half-man is interviewing a Trump delegate who is talking about the various expected speeches, one of which will focus on law and order …. to which the chick-with-a-dick with the equally fake smile responds something like; “Well, shouldn’t the focus be on healing rather than divisiveness?”  … implying, of course, that the Donald is the cause for peaceful niggers shooting eeevul cops.

If it was only her him it saying this I would ignore it.  But, the healing meme is almost  literally everywhere I look. Hence, the questions.

1.-  What the fuck does “healing” even mean??

(Seriously, I don’t know wtf it means. If I read about some feral kneegrow killing whites just because he can, does it mean I pretend it never happened, that I should close my eyes and pray “Dear Lawd, please keep me from hatin that fucken’ nigger for whom Jeebus also died”, or some shit like that?  Cuz, really, I don’t have a damned clue.)

2.- Which of this nation’s problems can actually be solved by “healing”, as you defined it above?

3.-  Forget about the nation. That’s too big. Nations are merely a collection of individuals, like you.  So, what do YOU need healing from?

(Not just necessarily race/racism. It can be anything holding you back from Being All You Can Be. It can even involve your physical ailments … such as bb’s sore asshole,  I_S’s bum ankle, Llpoh’s micropenis, etc. Remember, confession cleanses the soul, and we’re all friends here and no one will make fun of you … so just release your inner demons.)

A Libertarian Guide to Driving Etiquette

Guest Post by Eric Peters

Driving – like walking – is an inherently individualistic activity. We each have our own pace, destination and timeframe. Some of us are faster walkers than others. Some prefer to take their time. The same applies to driving – or should.tailgater

But doesn’t.

Because government controls driving – and imposes an inherently artificial and one-size-fits-all regime on everyone – punishing any deviation from its rules, not because someone was harmed but only because someone deviated from the rules.

And the worst part is that many people think this is ok. Get mad when someone questions it. Cheer when someone is punished for not toeing the line. Some make it their business to impose the code on others, by refusing to yield as a notorious for-instance. Or speeding up (temporarily) to thwart a pass. Then resuming their slow-motion pace.

It’s as silly as as insisting that everyone walk in lockstep and at the same pace – or face punishment.left lane hog

But it’s accepted when it comes to driving because of conditioning. Much in the same way that people are conditioned to accept the idea that when government takes your money and calls it “taxes” it’s not theft. Or that you have given your “consent” to an action of the government’s you weren’t even consulted about – but which nonetheless imposes an obligation on you to obey.

Let’s uncondition ourselves.

China Warns US Patrols In South China Sea Could End In “Disaster” As It Launches Navy Drills

Tyler Durden's picture

Less than a week after a Hague tribunal found that China has no territorial rights in the South China Sea, contrary to Beijing’s “Nine Dash Line” claims, China has made it abundantly clear that it will no comply with the ruling when overnight a senior Chinese admiral said that Freedom of navigation patrols carried out by foreign navies in the South China Sea could end “in disaster” while also announcing the unexpected start of navy drills in the contested waters, in the most direct warning to the United States yet.

According to AP, Hainan’s maritime administration said an area southeast of the island province would be closed from Monday to Thursday, but gave no details about the nature of the exercises. The announcement came during a three-day visit to China by US Chief of Naval Operations Admiral John Richardson to discuss the South China Sea dispute and ways to increase interaction between the two militaries, which continue to have a tense relationship.
