“You Just Lied!”: Elon Crushes BBC Reporter’s Claims About ‘Hate Speech’ On Twitter

Less than a week after Twitter labeled the BBC “government funded media,” owner Elon Musk gave an impromptu interview to the news agency on Tuesday evening at Twitter HQ, where he discussed topics ranging from layoffs, to misinformation, to his work habits, to the fact that most of the advertisers who left in a huff have now returned or said they will.

But who cares about most of that. Elon totally crushed the BBC reporter, James Clayton, by calling him out over the nanny state’s favorite straw man – ‘hate speech,’ and then trying to get Clayton to admit he likes large black penises.

When asked why there’s ‘so much more hate speech on Twitter’ since he took over, Musk pushed back – challenging Clayton to provide a single example. Clayton couldn’t. Then says ‘

“You said you’ve seen more hateful content but you can’t name a single example. Not even one.”

To which Clayton replied: “I’m not sure I’ve used that feed for the last three or four weeks and I –”

Then how could you see the hateful content? ..  I’m asking for one example. You can’t give a single one.” Musk interjected. “Then I say sir that you don’t know what you’re talking about … because you can’t give a single example of hateful content, not even one tweet. And yet, you claimed that the hateful content was high. That’s false. You just lied!”

Why the BBC’s new “anti-vaxxer documentary” is a complete farce

Guest Post by Iain Davis

The BBC is either the worst media organisation on Earth or the best, depending upon your perspective. On the one hand it is a truly world-class propaganda machine. On the other it is completely incapable of challenging government narratives or power because it is effectively a branch of the UK government and is itself beholden to power.

As an agency of the state, the BBC has actively sought to destabilise overseas governments around the world. It is a master of propaganda and frequently lies to the public, either overtly or by omission, with the goal of convincing the people to accept whatever falsehood or agenda it has been tasked to sell.

From top to bottom, the BBC’s commitment to journalistic integrity is missing. It is simply a mouthpiece for the ruling cartel. It comprehensively fails to deliver the most crucial social function of journalism: holding power to account.

Don’t Laugh — It’s Giving Putin What He Wants

Guest Post by Caitlin Johnstone

The BBC has published an article titled “How Putin’s Russia turned humour into a weapon” about the Kremlin’s latest addition to its horrifying deadly hybrid warfare arsenal: comedy.

The article is authored by Olga Robinson, whom the BBC, unhindered by any trace of self-awareness, has titled “Senior Journalist (Disinformation)”. Robinson demonstrates the qualifications and acumen which earned her that title by warning the BBC’s audience that the Kremlin has been using humor to dismiss and ridicule accusations that have been leveled against it by western governments, a “form of trolling” that she reports is designed to “deliberately lower the level of discussion”.
