The New Yorker announced in a blatantly anti-Christian essay Friday that the arrival of Chick-fil-A restaurants in New York City “feels like an infiltration, in no small part because of its pervasive Christian traditionalism.”

The April 13 article by Dan Piepenbring, ominously titled “Chick-fil-A’s Creepy Infiltration of New York City,” reads like old Ku Klux Klan propaganda against Catholics, Jews, and blacks. It is evident from the first line through the last that the only thing that disturbs Mr. Piepenbring about the restaurant chain is the overt Christian faith of its owners.

Apparently unaware of just how bigoted his essay sounds, Piepenbring offers as evidence of Chick-fil-A’s “creepiness” that its corporate headquarters in Atlanta “is adorned with Bible verses and a statue of Jesus washing a disciple’s feet. Its stores close on Sundays.”

It makes one shudder just to imagine it.

Branded ‘hate chicken’ by the left, Chick-fil-A feeds Atlanta’s stranded travelers

Via American Thinker

Well, well, well, what have we here? As thousands of Atlanta’s airport passengers found themselves stranded due to a power outage in what was for many, an unfamiliar airport, who should come out to feed them for free, making their hellish travel ordeal a bit less hellish?

Sure enough, it was Chick-fil-A, the delicious chicken fast-food chain that was otherwise branded “hate chicken” by rabid leftists, during a 2012 flap over gay marriage and the company owner’s unwillingness to support it.

Late Sunday night, while Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport worked to restore power during a massive outage that crippled air travel at the nation’s busiest airport, officials handed out Chick-fil-A and waters to stranded passengers.

“Lights on and delivering food and water to our passengers,” the airport said on Twitter, thanking Chick-fil-A Chairman and CEO Dan Cathy for opening on a Sunday.

Daily Caller News Foundation Democratic Delegates Outraged Chick-Fil-A Served At DNC

Chick-Fil-A sandwiches abound at the Democratic National Convention, and some of the delegates aren’t happy about it.

Conference attendees can buy Chick-Fil-A sandwiches both inside and outside the convention arena. Joe Sacco, a Democratic delegate from Nevada who supports Senator Bernie Sanders and attended the LGBT caucus, told The Daily Caller News Foundation he’s unhappy Chick-Fil-A is being served.

“That was just really disappointing,” Sacco told TheDCNF. “I would hope that the DNC would be more sensitive in the future to the LGBT community.”

Many LGBT supporters boycotted the fast food chain after CEO Dan Cathy publicly spoke in favor of traditional marriage in 2012. Sacco said he’s not the only upset and that many other delegates shared his sentiment and were vocal about it.

“People were not happy about it, but it wasn’t just gay people who were not happy about it,” Sacco told The DCNF. “It was gay people and straight people and our allies, and the workers, in fact, also understood when we took a few moments to explain why we don’t support Chick-Fil-A.”

Sonya Lewis, an openly lesbian delegate seen holding a pro-LGBT sign, told TheDCNF she was unhappy with Chick-Fil-A being served.

“The owner is homophobic,” Lewis told TheDCNF. “I don’t buy Chick Fil A on purpose.”

Both Lewis and Sacco acknowledged there may be contractual obligations that require the Wells Fargo Center to allow Chick-Fil-A’s food, but both said they disapprove of the fast food company.

“They’re the type of company that closes on Sunday, puts money into lobbying against the LGBT community, and for that reason I will never support Chick-Fil-A until they change their ways,” Sacco said.

Chick-Fil-A Makes Selfless Gesture to Supporters of Orlando Terrorism Victims

As the news continues to emerge about the brutal radical Islamist terror attack responsible for slaying 49 people at an Orlando, Florida, nightclub, Chick-fil-A–a company often maligned by the LGBT community–has made a selfless gesture to comfort supporters of the victims of the terrorist act without seeking any publicity for it.

Without seeking the limelight, the fast food giant responded by bringing a large amount of free food and drinks to the local blood donation center that was taking blood donations for the dozens who were seriously injured in the attack.

The news of the fast food outlet’s actions were reported on Facebook by Tampa, Florida, attorney and radio show host Kevin Hayslett.

Hayslett took to his own Facebook page to note that the Chick-fil-A in Orlando opened on Sunday, prepared its inventory of food, and trucked it down to the One Blood donation center, where workers handed out the delectables to everyone who was donating blood to aid the victims.
