Hunger for the Blackjack Agenda

by Uncola

The French philosopher Voltaire once said: “Each player must accept the cards life deals him or her: but once they are in hand, he or she alone must decide how to play the cards in order to win the game.” The American author and newspaperman, Finley Peter Dunne, once advised: “Trust everybody, but cut the cards.” The country singer, Kenny Rogers said we should: “Know when to hold them and know when to fold them; and the musical pop princess, Lady Gaga, sings of how: “He can’t read my poker face”.

This is what comes to mind when reading about the Two Faces of Hillary Clinton in the New York Times. I must admit, when reading articles like this one, I am forced to pinch myself just to make sure I am still living in the here and now instead of having just awakened like Rip Van Winkle in a dismally Dantean, dystopian world of the future. In response to recent Wikileaks revelations, the article explains why it is necessary for the Harpy to have one face in public and another in her private political dealings. In this fine example of Orwellian Newspeak, the author of the piece, Jonathan Rauch, senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, writes in his best poker face in order to deplorably deal out this despicable diamond:

“In politics, hypocrisy and doublespeak are tools.”

Dr. Tim Ball: How the world was deceived about global warming and climate change

Via The Rebel

Current weather is normal; that is, it is well within the range of all previous weather and climate variations. There are no dramatic increases in temperature, precipitation, hurricanes, tornadoes, or any other severe weather. The climate is changing just as it always has and always will and the rate of change is perfectly normal. Of course, that is not what the government, environmentalists, or the media promote and as a result most of the public believe. The misconception is deliberate and central to the exploitation of global warming and climate change as the vehicle for a political agenda.

One phenomenon that creates the illusion weather is abnormal is the attention given by the media. We all experience being introduced to a person then seeing them pop up every time we turn around. It’s the same thing with cars after you buy one you see them everywhere. In both cases they were always there, but not part of your awareness. Weather and climate events seem to occur everyday, but it is because they became a media story. They always occurred. Now the story appears and is amplified by the sensationalism of the media with their “Extreme Weather Reports.”

The Climate Change Distraction

FORWARD: I tend to be long-winded, so this article has been greatly shortened in the hopes that someone will actually read the damned thing. I’m not publishing this under my own name, so don’t expect academic levels of references and figures. You disagree with something, start a war in the comments.

The 1800s set the tone for mankind’s future, not just politically, but economically and scientifically as well. It was at this point when we began to understand that our actions may have a lasting effect on the global carrying capacity for humanity. The concerns have always wavered back and forth, but at the end of the day the predictions all mean the same thing:
DOOM!
“Doom” is a terrible scientific conclusion, as it is rooted deeply in emotion; however, doom is an excellent political conclusion as fear-mongering has long been a preferred tool for those with special interests, and unfortunately the budding science of climatology has been used time and again to push an agenda.

Today, climate change is as divisive a topic as can be found, pitting allies, neighbors, and even family against each other. This all or nothing approach to a very serious and complex problem is yet another challenge America faces in its attempts to stand united.

NO GLOBAL WARMING IN LAST 58 YEARS

Guest Post by tonyheller

NOAA Radiosonde Data Shows No Warming For 58 Years

In their “hottest year ever” press briefing, NOAA included this graph, which stated that they have a 58 year long radiosonde temperature record. But they only showed the last 37 years in the graph.

NESDIS Strategic Communications

Here is why they are hiding the rest of the data. The earlier data showed as much pre-1979 cooling as the post-1979 warming.

I combined the two graphs at the same scale below, and put a horizontal red reference line in, which shows that the earth’s atmosphere has not warmed at all since the late 1950’s

The omission of this data from the NOAA report, is just their latest attempt to defraud the public. NOAA’s best data shows no warming for 60 years.

FOURTH TURNING – POLITICIANS DRIVING THE WORLD TOWARDS WAR

In Part 1 of this article I discussed the catalyst spark which ignited this Fourth Turning and the seemingly delayed regeneracy. In Part 2 I pondered possible Grey Champion prophet generation leaders who could arise during the regeneracy. In Part 3 I focused on the economic channel of distress which is likely to be the primary driving force in the next phase of this Crisis. In Part 4 I assessed the social and cultural channels of distress dividing the nation. In Part 5 I’ll examine the technological, ecological, political, and military channels of distress likely to burst forth with the molten ingredients of this Fourth Turning, and finally in Part 6 our rendezvous with destiny, with potential climaxes to this Winter of our discontent.

Technological & Ecological Distress

“Technological progress has merely provided us with more efficient means for going backwards.” Aldous Huxley – Ends and Means

The level of distress being produced by technology was probably underestimated by Strauss & Howe when they wrote their book in 1997. The internet, cell phones and e-commerce were still in their infancy, while cyber security was an unknown concept. Huxley would be shocked by how backwards we have “progressed” through the efficient distribution of iGadgets, creating millions of distracted, non-thinking, passive, easily pliable, willfully ignorant sheep who adore their technological servitude.

A vast swath of the populace never reads a book and can’t go more than a few minutes without checking their iGadget to view the latest funny cat video, the latest update on Kim Kardashian’s ass, Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner’s courage, or Lamar Odom’s latest whorehouse escapade. Our country is drowning in a sea of irrelevance as our infinite craving for diversions and triviality overwhelms any thoughts of confronting our oppressors. The adoration of technology has degraded our ability to think and allowed the Deep State to control the masses by amusing them to death.

The totalitarian Orwellian utilization of technology was exposed by a millennial with courage, intelligence, and love of his country – Edward Snowden. His revelations were very distressful to the felonious government apparatchiks who blatantly flaunt their disregard for the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution. The criminals at the NSA, fully supported by Obama and Congress, have made Big Brother look like an amateur, as they siphon up every phone call, text, email, and facebook entry made by each person in this country and for good measure the political leaders of our allies and enemies.

DOUBLING DOWN

In fairness to both parties, I give you your potential future presidents in all their glory.

Trump doubles down: Thousands in NJ cheered on 9/11

GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump is doubling down on comments that thousands of people in parts of New Jersey with large Arab populations cheered on 9/11.

Trump said at a rally on Saturday in Birmingham, Ala., that he watched as the World Trade Center “came tumbling down.”

“And I watched in Jersey City, New Jersey, where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down,” he added. “Thousands of people were cheering.”

ABC “This Week” host George Stephanopoulos asked Trump on Sunday if he misspoke, noting that “police say that didn’t happen and all those rumors have been on the Internet for some time.”

“It did happen. I saw it, “ Trump said. “It was on television. I saw it.”

“George, it did happen,” Trump persisted.

“There were people that were cheering on the other side of New Jersey, where you have large Arab populations,” he said. “They were cheering as the World Trade Center came down.

“I know it might be not politically correct for you to talk about it, but there were people cheering … as those buildings came down,” Trump added. “And that tells you something.

“There were people over in New Jersey that were watching it, a heavy Arab population, that were cheering as the buildings came down. Not good.”

“It is unfortunate that Donald Trump is giving new life to long-debunked conspiracy theories about 9/11,” the Anti-Defamation League said in statement to Buzzfeed.

“His comments are irresponsible — not to mention factually challenged.”

Sanders doubles down: Climate change causes terrorism

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) on Sunday reiterated his claim that climate change will lead to terrorism by destabilizing regions affected by droughts, floods, and other natural disasters.

Did Cycle Theory Begin With The Discovery of a Rhinoceros?

woolly rhinoceros

Global Warming CavemenYou may not realize it, but it was the discovery of a frozen rhinoceros in Siberia that introduced cycle theory and altered everything in science igniting the Age of Enlightenment. Cycle theory is responsible for just about everything in physics and illustrates why the global warming/climate change crowd is simply pursuing an agenda for government to raise taxes. To a great extent, there has always been this clash between people who simply believe in a straight line (I call them the uniformity crowd) and anyone who deviates, whom they see as somehow at fault and abnormal. Then there are the practical people who see catastrophe as part of nature (e.g. the burning of a forest that sparks new growth, as in Australia).

CLIMATE SCAM TO TAX YOU PER MILE

OilRig

I have been warning that states are desperate for money and they are now preparing to shift to impose a tax on per mile you drive. Oregon wants to Install a GPS “Mileage Tracking Device” in all cars to Tax Per Mile. They will also use the Global Warming scam to justify this tax per mile you drive as if this will have any affect upon altering the climate. It is just an excuse to justify more taxation. You will pay tax on the gasoline and then pay an additional tax per mile you drive. A new double taxation. Eventually, all states will follow this lead.

Paris=Banning-Cars

They banned cars in Paris for the “Climate Change” conference and governments are behind this propaganda of climate change because they want to introduce a tax on all vehicles per mile you drive. There is a core group of academics who are on board for they get paid to put out studies that governments need to justify more taxes.

The Pope’s Political Science

Guest Post by Eric Peters

It’s hard to criticize the pope. It is like criticizing your mom. She means well, probably. But that doesn’t mean she’s not wrong sometimes.VATICAN-POPE-AUDIENCE

This time, the pope is wrong – even if he means well.

He has been urging governments around the world to enact taxes and impose draconian new regulations on energy use (such as a pending law in CA that will require a 50 percent reduction in petroleum use by 2030, to be achieved penalizing motorists who “use too much” gas or “drive too often”) in order to  address what he styles “the urgency of climate change” and the need for “sustainable” development.

The problem is that while “climate change” – the new catch-all euphemism for catastrophic alterations in the world’s weather patterns – is conjecture, the taxes and regulatory restrictions advocated by this clergyman are very real indeed.

Specifically, the effect such will have on the world’s poor – for whom affordable electricity, warmth in winter and food are very real concerns.vatican interior pic

Perhaps Francis takes for granted the lights that come on at the flick of a switch in the Vatican; that there is always food on the table. Hot water coming out of the tap. Millions of people around the planet, many of them in the so-called “developing” world (Africa in particular) do not take such things for granted. The “sustainable” development urged by Pope Francis as he jets around the world means real sacrifices for real people – most of whom have never travelled by 747 or even Cessna.

U.S. Scientists: No Way to Stop Warming of Oceans

On Thursday, a group of climate scientists working for the U.S. government gave notice that warming temperatures in the oceans are irreversible, regardless of any drastic actions that might be taken to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The American Meteorological Society’s climate report, which includes four independent data sets, found 2014 to be the hottest year on record, with 90 percent of the heat related to greenhouse gas emissions having been absorbed into the ocean.

In Europe alone, over 20 countries set new heat records. Africa, Asia and Australia registered near-record heat, and California’s water supply hangs in the balance.

THE REAL CAUSE OF THE RISE OF ISIS

Why climate change of course, isn’t it obvious?  To be fair, the author is right that the area is experiencing extreme drought, but doesn’t a river (Euphrates) run through it?  Look at the reservoirs in google earth and it doesn’t appear the levels have dropped much.   Fucking libs are a one-trick pony.

Republicans Are Still Totally Wrong About ISIS

An Iraqi soldier tracks an ISIS sniper near Tikrit in April.

On Monday, Democratic presidential candidate Martin O’Malley made an astute observation about ISIS in an interview with Bloomberg.

“One of the things that preceded the failure of the nation-state of Syria, the rise of ISIS, was the effect of climate change and the mega-drought that affected that region, wiped out farmers, drove people to cities, created a humanitarian crisis [that] created the…conditions of extreme poverty that has led now to the rise of ISIL and this extreme violence,” said the former Maryland governor.

Republicans were quick to seize on the comment as an indication of O’Malley’s weak grasp of foreign policy. Reince Priebus, chair of the Republican National Committee, said the suggestion of a link between ISIS’s rise to power and climate change was “absurd” and a sign that “no one in the Democratic Party has the foreign policy vision to keep America safe.”
