Anthony Fauci’s Very Bad Week

It’s not been Anthony Fauci’s best week.

Forever intent on managing his image and public opinion on the pandemic response, he accepted a seemingly safe interview on CNN. The reporter was someone he trusted, Michael Smerconish, who tossed in what he believed to be a softball question.

He asked Fauci about the Cochrane study on masks by Tom Jefferson, and, in particular the author’s comments to Brownstone fellow Maryanne Demasi. Jefferson flat out said that masks don’t work to control viruses. Smerconish simply wanted Fauci’s response.

Fauci, who might have been expected to perform better, stumbled very badly. He said that while on a population level mask evidence is weak, the evidence is stronger on an individual level. That of course is a bit of a head-scratcher, especially since he cited none of the supposed studies.

Actually, it makes no sense at all. The whole point of the Jefferson paper was to examine the best-possible evidence. The results were exactly the “science” that Fauci has touted for years. The big difference is that the results completely contradict Fauci himself. Is this guy a pathological liar?

What did Dr. Anthony Fauci know, and when did he know it?

Virologists like Kristian Andersen are justifiably under scrutiny for misleading the public in February 2020; but it was Tony Fauci who really had reason to panic over the lab leak theory.

“Wuhan University.”

That’s how Dr. Anthony Fauci referred to the Wuhan Institute of Virology on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, a day after the virologist Kristian Andersen warned Fauci he suspected Sars-Cov-2 might not be entirely natural. (Just spitballing here, Tony!)

Fauci made the error in an email to other federal officials he had no reason to expect anyone would ever see. In fact, the National Institutes of Health later hid it from a public records request.

Which implies Fauci’s mistake was honest. Which, in turn, implies that as of Feb. 1, 2020, he knew so little about the gain-of-function research happening in Wuhan, he couldn’t even get the location of the lab doing it right.

By the end of January 2020, Sars-Cov-2 had been the world’s focus for two weeks. The NIH was interested even earlier. On Mon., Jan. 13, after a frantic weekend of work, its vaccinologists and Moderna finalized the amino acid sequence for Moderna’s future Covid vaccine.

Yet Fauci apparently had no concerns about the origins of the virus until Andersen called him on Jan. 31. Then, suddenly, he seems to have woken up to the possibility that Sars-Cov-2 might have come out of a Chinese lab – and that his research dollars might have helped fund it.

WHO Chief Scientist Accused of Suppressing Evidence that Ivermectin Cures Covid

Dr. Soumya Swaminathan chief scientist for the World Health Organization, has been charged by the Mumbai-based association of lawyers of “running a disinformation campaign against Ivermectin by deliberate suppression of effectiveness of drug Ivermectin as a prophylaxis and for treatment of Covid-19, despite the existence of large amounts of clinical data compiled and presented by esteemedd, highly qualified, experienced medical doctors and scientists.”

Are public health bureaucrats trustworthy, or are they on the take from Big Pharma?  Why do they suppress the evidence of known cures and instead push dangerous and deadly vaccines?

Fauci Emails: How Top Public Health Officials Spun Tangled Web of Lies Around COVID Origin, Treatments

Fauci Emails: A tangled web of lies.

In early 2020, there was a lot of chatter about where the virus, later named SARS-CoV-2, actually came from.

In an excellent, detailed article written earlier this month for the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, former New York Times science writer Nicholas Wade described how two short pieces published in March 2020 — one in The Lancet and one in Nature Medicine — determined how this chatter would be channeled to the public.

These two extraordinarily influential pieces, each published under the heading “correspondence,” were parroted by mainstream media for a year. Both were plainly intended to shut down any discussion of the possibility that the virus originated in a lab.
