Nancy Pelosi warned President Donald Trump that if he declared an “emergency” to build a wall, “think what a president with different values can present… Why don’t you declare (the epidemic of gun violence in America) an emergency, Mr. President? I wish you would… A Democratic president can declare emergencies as well.”
Her fellow Democrats Sen. Kamala Harris and Sen. Elizabeth Warren quickly agreed.
Warren tweeted: “Gun violence is an emergency. Climate change is an emergency…”
Yikes.

My question for Congressjerk Eric Swalwell is pretty simple: “How many Americans would you murder to achieve your goal of disarming us?”
It’s a fair question.
Swalwell is the MSNBC stalwart who recently wrote an op-ed advocating that the government confiscate the guns that make people like him wet themselves and imprison those of us who decline to surrender them. Millions of Americans own these basic tools of freedom, which the ignorant call “assault weapons,” and these loyal citizens keep and bear them to protect themselves, their families, their communities and their Constitution. But Rep. Swalwell would make these citizens felons, though these patriots are only a threat to criminals and aspiring tyrants.

Democrats renew push for gun control, assault weapons ban
Just hours after the killings by a lone gunman in a California bar, Democrats began lining up to demand more gun control, an issue that fell off the map during the midterm congressional elections despite the shootings in a Pittsburgh synagogue.
“We need to do something about this. And I’m glad that we have a Democratic majority in the House,” said Democratic Party Chairman Tom Perez.
“To my colleagues — you’re blind if you don’t see what’s going on,” tweeted Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy. “WE CAN STOP ALL THIS,” he added in all caps.

One of the bad things about writing an article such as this one is that no matter what position it takes, it is attacked by an army of naysayers and protesters. This may seem innocuous, but it is not. In reality, it detracts from attempting to make a productive point of discussion. Their objective is to foster argument and conflict. Some are paid trolls and shills, and others genuinely feel the need to stand up and be heard…even if just to argue a point…whether that point has merit or not. Akin to Colin Kaepernick, protesting years after he lost in the Super Bowl to the Ravens and not during…after he was cut from the team…protesting an “injustice” that never existed.

Ron Paul: Republicans, Democrats Teaming Up for Federal Gun Confiscation Bill
In an email Tuesday night, former Congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul released an ominous statement claiming that a source they have in the Senate revealed Democrats are teaming up with Republicans to push through a massive gun control bill.
According to their source, as Paul explained, “Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) are teaming up with Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) to ram through one of the worst nationwide gun confiscation schemes ever devised.”
The gun confiscation bill, according to Paul, is designed to disarm Americans without any due process. The senators are using the recent tragic shooting in Texas as the impetus behind the law—in spite of the fact that this law would not have prevented the shooting at all.

Guns and the left’s war on freedom

American democracy is under siege, and gun control is at the very center of the left’s war on all our freedoms and its agenda for an America in the mold of European socialism.
Facts — terrible massacres in strict gun control jurisdictions like Connecticut and France — have no place in fashioning the left’s gun regulatory proposals. Every horrific shooting is followed by demands for draconian restrictions on gun ownership without reasonable evidence that those measures can’t be circumvented by would be mass shooters.
The establishment GOP in Congress, just as it has on entitlements, taxes and a host of other issues, reverts to the mistake of offering compromises without strict conditions. Over and over again, it falls into the error of believing just one more concession will buy peace with the left but it can’t.

National Rifle Association board member and rock guitarist Ted Nugent branded school shooting survivors as pathetic, “soulless” liars for targeting the NRA after enduring last month’s massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
Mr. Nugent, 69, unleashed on the students during an interview Friday on “The Joe Pags Show,” a nationally syndicated radio and television program hosted by conservative commentator and fellow NRA member Joe Pagliarulo.
“The lies from the left, the lies from these poor, mushy-brained children who have been fed lies,” Mr. Nugent said. “They’re actually committing spiritual suicide because everything they recommend will cause more death and mayhem, guaranteed.”

The shameless liars that comprise the US media intentionally exaggerated the marchers against “gun violance” by four times the acutal number.
Why?
Why are the media presstitutes involved in advocacy of agendas and not in reporting factual news?
Recent polls show that a majority of Americans believe that gun ownership makes people safer. Americans do not believe that people should be denied safety because of an occasional nutcase or a staged shooting to advance the gun control agenda. Indeed, they wonder who is behind the gun control agenda. They wonder about the dumbshits who are protesting the Second Amendment instead of Washington’s rush into conflict with Russia.
I have no doubt that gun control groups are organized by agents of the police state. The United States is falling apart. All of the increase in income and wealth is going to the One Percent. The vast majority of Americans are being ground into the dirt by government at all levels. There is no democracy. There is only looting. The One Percent fear that sooner or later even insouciant Americans might rise up. But they can’t if they are disarmed. That is all gun control is about.
