According to official media, the House Democrats are finally ready to send the articles of impeachment over to the Senate for a trial. Assuming it actually happens, the trial will be a circus to allow the various crackpots and show ponies to perform for the cable news audiences. Everyone will pretend it is serious until the ratings come in from the polling operations and then the show will close. The only people who think otherwise are the cranks and weirdos on the Left.

The House vote on Impeaching Trump may be the stake through the heart of the Democratic Party. Most of the people newly elected were extremely left and they remain vulnerable when they barely made it to Congress, like AOC. This will be a test for the moderates v the extremists and if the moderates vote on party lines rather than the facts, many will be putting their own seats in jeopardy come 2020. Those in favor of impeachment come in at 4.5% and 45.8% of Americans favor removing him from office. It is a very heated debate in the Democratic party.

So, while that human troll doll of an ambassador was back east dancing for Adam Schiff’s pleasure and I was out in a glitzy blue Los Angeles-area city at a nice restaurant to score some munchables and people were talking and chatting and interacting and how many were talking about impeachment?

Here’s a hint: It’s the same number as the average dates per decade for a Weekly Standard writer.

Just kidding – there is no such thing as a writer for the Weekly Standard because it destroyed itself by sucking.

The number is “Zero.”

Nil.

Nada.

Even less than the amount of Indian in Chief Sitting Bolshevik’s DNA.
