Thankfully I live on the west side of Michigan, but on the east side, Dearborn, is home to over 32,000 muslims, the largest concentration, and the largest mosque in America.

His basic premise is that there are obscurities in the Koran when certain words or phrases are translated from Arabic instead of Syriac.
Anyway, without going into the detailed technical analysis – which I don’t understand anyway — the gist of his argument is that the word for “houris” is mistranslated as “virgin”. He says that the context of that verse is talking about “crystal, and pearls, and a paradise abounding with fruit, especially white grapes”, and to through virgins into that mix make no sense whatsoever. And so a better, more accurate translation would be ……. wait for it ……. wait, get ready …………… RAISINS!!
