People need to realize the wage alone in not the employee’s only cost to the employer.
There are taxes, mandated insurances of all sorts from unemployment to workers comp, and other liabilities all of which are tied to wages.
In some industries, the worker can cost double or even more the cost of their wages alone.
And many jobs just aren’t worth that much if the costs go up.
In addition, increasing the minimum pushes up all other wages along with it to maintain a relative skill value compensation, which will eliminate any borderline jobs at all skill levels since they no longer pay for themselves and become a drain on their employer.

Forgive me for just saying, but most franchises seem to be going to Blacks (the NWO CEO’s and SBA Agendas and loans that will become “grants”?); then the owners hire all Blacks; so when Liberals are claiming that Blacks get all the low paying jobs, I tend to agree. What isn’t recognized is that probably there is some unemployed college grad living in mom’s basement (like a good friend’s son) for every low paying Black you see working. I remember being turned down repeatedly and when I asked why not me, the response was that I was a college grad and I wouldn’t fit in or even learn the job before moving on. Frankly, I avoid food prepared by those Blacks because of the “Spit Factor” so I don’t get my panties in a wad when such places suffer “racist” losses. I also remember some bosses panicking whenever a Black customer complained because the boss feared the Black would start a riot or a boycott.

No, that can’t be right, Obama and his genius advisors repealed the laws of math, business, and economics so increases in costs will not influence demand. If they can bypass republican obstructionism and repeal the laws of physics including gravity then pigs will be able to fly.

In my limited experience eating fast food – joints that employ a high percentage of Neegrows turn out a vastly inferior product. They can manage to fuck up a Jimmy Johns / Big Mac / etc. There’s a guy at work who buys lunch at Popeye’s regularly. Sometimes at noon – they have no chicken! The place is run by Obama’s sons.

In this election year, we can expect all sorts of silliness. Obama wants some kind of legacy and the democrats have to show that they were good stewards of the economy which, by the looks of things, is going to be difficult. Legislation that drives up minimum wage could drive unemployment up to levels that my be difficult to hide from the voter.
I wonder how Obama feels knowing that he is the worst president in the history of this Republic?

It’s called the Working Opportunity Tax Credit, and those chains get a 9 grand tax break for every african they hire. That’s more than half the wage of a full time minimum wage worker. Think about it. With 40 employees you could pay off a million dollar building with the wage savings in under three years. (No thanks)
